Hotels mit Parkplatz in Distrikt Coimbra, Portugal

A superb historic property under private management and ownership - actually, in the ownership of the same family for over 400 years altho’ now a member of the Small Luxury Hotels marketing system affiliated with Hilton. The property in its adjoining Gardens are a destination in themselves, along with the nearby (400m) Santa Clara monastery. They may be sufficient for some visitors, but it’s about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Coimbra and it’s main historical area. Arthur Wellesley - aka Viscount Wellington - was a visitor during his Iberian campaign, so you’re in good company.  Staff are superb and obviously hand picked by the owner. The receptionist when I arrived (Evening of Sunday 16 February) was simply the best I’ve ever experienced, Singapore, Bangkok and Tokyo included.  Genuinely fascinating to talk to about the history of the building and some of the previous guests (famous but  ‘passed’ celebrities so no confidence is breached).  Best to stay in the rooms in the main building if possible, if tales of the previous occupant intrigue. Although the spa Is impressive – up to best Thai standards - and I guess the adjoining spa rooms may be equally good. Overall, an absolute gem that far exceeded expectations.

We stayed two nights in apartment 2.2 - one bedroom with a small office room which has a desk and single bed. Location was great, being right off the main pedestrian strip in the old town area, so very atmospheric and convenient for restaurants. Check-in is at Hotel Oslo, about 4min walk away so you will have to walk with your luggage for a few minutes, including up some stairs. The apartment building also does not have a lift, so you will need to be able to carry your luggage up stairs within the building. I don't think you would be able to call an Uber or taxi to the street in front of the building as it is very narrow so bear this in mind. Some other minor points I noticed about the apartment which you may find helpful: - It directly faces another building on a narrow street, so the apartment doesn't really get natural sunlight - There is a washer but no dryer - it took a whole day for our clothes to dry and the rack sat in the living room - The apartment fittings are starting to feel a bit worn down

Ich war in einem einzigen Zimmer im ibis Coimbra Centro und hatte eine angenehme Erfahrung im Allgemeinen. Ich war besonders froh, dass das Hotel meine Forderung nach einem Königsbett erfüllte. Das Zimmer selbst ist kompakt, aber gut ausgestaltet, nur die richtige Größe für einen Einzelreisenden. Eine Frage, die ich bemerkte, war, dass das Zimmer sehr warm blieb, auch mit der Temperaturanzeige auf 15°C und der Klimaanlage auf hoher Höhe. Es war nicht unbehaglich, aber es ist etwas zu wissen. Das WC war spotless, und ich mochte die Holzböden und das moderne Duschegebiet. Ich habe während meines Aufenthalts das Frühstück gewählt und war angenehmen überrascht von der verfügbaren Vielfalt. Es gab genug Optionen, um jeden Morgen etwas anderes zu genießen, und ich habe immer den Tisch voll und zufrieden verlassen. Danke für die Aufnahme von mir in ibis Coimbra Centro!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Coimbra Monumentais.  The location is absolutely perfect being so close to the steps up to the University.  The facilities were fine.  My only suggestion for improvement is to automatically send the check in information rather than asking us to ask for it.  I missed that point in the reservation.  Most of our stays were with Air BnB and they automatically send the information a day or two in advance.  We came to the back door (the 7A address) and had an issue with getting in.  Once in, we were very well looked after.  Thanks so much to Mariannna!

Great location and closeness to a grocery store. The rooms seem a little bit outdated but are spacious and quiet when you close the doors to the balcony. The staff is helpful and knows English and Spanish if your Portuguese is not that good.

Good location just next to Praça do Comércio. Some complained about the claustrophobic nature of the room without windows but I think its fine as the only time I spent in was to sleep. The price is good and room is clean and with good location are all I asked for and the hotel fulfills all that. The people there is friendly and tried to help as they could, an added plus. Will stay there again if I come back to coimbra.

Little hotel by the road side. Parking is free but it’s opposite building. Can park the car in front of hotel to unload luggage first. Staff speaks English and friendly. Room has no free water and fridge. Bed is comfortable n firm enough. The location is close to some attractions. However the room facing road is very noisy even when staff told me is not. Motorcycle n people walking past rounding loudly can be heard even late at night. We had bad night sleep. A room facing inwards would be better!

The hotel is cozy and familiy's friendly, the reception desk was friendly and welcoming, Fatima at the reception desk was great. The breakfast is intercontinental buffet and had a variety of options besides great taste, Dinner is A LA carte menu and the chef is exceptional. We didn't use the outdoor pool since it's so cold but the Spa and the indoor pool was pretty nice، the Jacuzzi was out of order. Overall the location and services was pretty much great definitely deserves another visit.

Die Rezeption des Hotels war schlecht, es wurde keine Anstrengung unternommen, uns über die Einrichtungen des Hotels oder über die Lage der Einrichtungen zu informieren. Der Hafenwein bei der Rezeption war auf der Anzeige, aber es wurde nie an uns oder die anderen Gäste angeboten. Die Reinigungspersonal waren sehr freundlich, gratulieren. Die Heizungseinheit war außerhalb des Fensters des Zimmers und war überraschend laut. Das Schlimmste war ein männlicher Gast mit Sauna und Dampfraum während komplett *****! Schockierend mangelnde Hygiene!!!

This was our second stay at the hotel, and it was just as fabulous as the first. The wellness area — with its sauna, cold‑water dip, and warm indoor pool — made the stay incredibly relaxing. The breakfast buffet was as good as I remember it, and on this trip was also our first time dining at Raiz, the hotel’s restaurant for dinner, and the experience was wonderful. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. This is definitely our go-to hotel when we're in Lousã!
