Very good service by Sunway staffs, all smiles and patience and friendly with kids. My son is very happy from enjoying this Lost world zoo trip! 5 stars You can only check in after 3pm due to their small amount of rooms, so DO NOT come earlier! But the staff are really good to call me when room is ready so I really appreciate that. The location is also very good if you are planning to go Lost World, but other than that it is a pain in the ass to travel to old town or central area of Ipoh for good food, just secluded area. Prebook Jeff Cellar since it's in the same area if you want high end but good food. Sunway should not only sell their own products (white label) but also should include things outside like chips or medicine. Not really convenient when all the ground floor of hotel / inside Lost World doesn't have midnight snacks that isn't Sunway branded 😂

Zuerst möchte ich mich über die Kissen des Hotels beschweren. Sie haben ein katastrophales Design. Wer war so schlau, diese Kissen zu kaufen und tatsächlich darin zu schlafen? Es sind die schlechtesten Kissen, auf denen ich in all meinen Geschäftsreisejahren je geschlafen habe! Ich empfehle dringend, sie auszutauschen!!! Als Nächstes möchte ich das Frühstück loben, denn es ist großzügig und das Geschirr wird schnell nachgefüllt. Grab-Taxis sind schnell, und es gibt ein Einkaufszentrum in der Nähe, was das Leben angenehm macht. Aber die Kissen waren ein Albtraum!

Excellent value for money. Strategic location with easy access, walking distance to food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The shared space is clean and well equipped. The room is clean, dust free surfaces, odourless bathroom and sink. Responsive host via WhatsApp with clear check in instruction. However parking access is not direct to the hotel.  My only complaint is that the bathroom sink is a bit too small hence water easily splashed out.

The Hotel located nearby downtown and opposite turf club, which are quite convenience but not a walking distance to most of the tourist spots, but not too far away if you took a taxi/Grab. Service was great and the check-in/check-out process was quick but is required to pay a fee of RM3 upon check-in which is applicable throughout the state of Perak as informed. Room was assigned on the highest floor, 10th floor and the room was cleaned but could be cleaner, and no bottle of water supplied in the room, but guests could get drinking water though the dispenser near the lift at each floor. Affordable price compares to other hotels within the city with its location, services and amenities. A great place to stay.

Overall its a good hotel with quiet surroundings, walking distance to the lake garden. Followings are my comments particularly about the room. 1) The bed, not up to so claimed a 4 star hotel. Not comfortable & shaking with sounds, my room was 219. 2) The towel colour not purely white but creamy. The quality of the towel like a budget hotel. The amenities, the soap is so thin, slightly bigger than an old 50 cents coin. 3) Breakfast, quite of a variety of food served but sadly the tastes are not there. 4) Receptions at night, they switched off the entrance lights making it looks dark. This must be a directive from the management try to save electricity bills. 5) Last but not least the price I paid consider pricey. For a weekday with less than 10 cars, I have paid RM198. 6) With the comments I have mentioned above & their current standard, the ideal rate should be maximum RM150 per night. For the price I have paid better stay at Novotel. The staff need to be sent for customer service training. 7) For sure I won’t return with this kind of level of service.

Insgesamt war es ein angenehmes Aufenthalt das Zimmer war komfortabel und der Service war gut. Allerdings konnte der Parkplatz mehr Raum nutzen, und der Wasserheizer braucht Verbesserung, da das Wasser nach einiger Zeit von heiß bis heiß wechselt.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed from check-in to check-out. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the city, walking distance to shops/restaurants/public transport. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully furnished, with comfy bedding, a well-designed layout, and amenities that included [list: e.g. espresso machine, high-speed Wi-fi, luxurious toiletries]. What really stood out was the staff service — everyone was warm, attentive and professional. From welcome greetings to helpful recommendations and prompt responses to requests, it made a big difference. The food and dining experience were also excellent: the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, and dinner at their onsite restaurant was memorable. loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it.

Jedes Mal, wenn ich nach Ipoh komme, werde ich auf jeden Fall hier übernachten. Herrlich gemütlich 🔥 Auch Kinder, Familie & Freunde wohnen gerne hier. Essen bestellen: Buttermilch-Hühnchenreis. Es ist köstlich 😘

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. So gut wie alles im Zimmer und Flur ist angekratzt, abgebrochen oder verbleicht. Beim Pool und Fitness war kein Handtuch und es wirkte ein wenig staubig. Was jedoch auserordentlich war, ist das Frühstück. Gefühlt 1000 verschiedene Dinge, frische Roti, fritiertes Hähnchen und und und. Die Lage ist okay, da es nicht direkt in der Staft liegt, dort aber Abends sowieso alles zu hatte.

Ich war zum ersten Mal in Ipoh und bin froh, dass ich dieses Hotel gewählt habe. Es liegt sehr praktisch in der Nähe von Einkaufszentren, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Einchecken verlief reibungslos und schnell. Ich freue mich, dass ich schon gegen 9 Uhr statt um 15 Uhr in mein Zimmer einchecken konnte. Das Zimmer ist sauber und geräumig und hat eine schöne Aussicht. Das Einzige, was nicht stimmt, ist die Toilettentür und die Haupttür ist zu alt und lässt sich nur schwer schließen 😅 Ansonsten ist alles gut 😁 Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr einfach, nichts, worüber man pingelig sein müsste, einfach schön, um den Bauch vollzuschlagen.
