We had to cancel a room for our guest, which is unable to come due to hospitalisation of his wife with a dying baby. When we called your hotel to cancel the room we booked earlier tonight, the only thing the receptionist said was: unfortunately we cannot give your money back. Then asked for the room number and after hearing some woman talking in the background he hung up on us. When we called back the same dude answered, same lady in the back. (Guy speaks Dutch, woman French). When we  explained that the call was disconnected he said ‘No, you’re calling to the wrong hotel, you have to call to the Zaventem hotel.’ When we said… but we just spoke to you personally, he hung us up again. It’s not about the refund but hanging up twice and lying to customers is unacceptable.

This was the second time this year that we have decided to stay at the Sheraton Airport prior to our return trip home. While the hotel is overpriced it is so convenient for departure and it eliminates the anxiety regarding taxi or transit strikes (something that seems to be a cultural event). The hotel offers great service; friendly and efficient check in and checkout, good response to requests (extra towels), etc. While it seems to be appearing “a little tired” (light bulbs flickering, some new paint required) I have found it to be clean, comfortable and has the hottest water I have experienced anywhere in the world. Gullivers restaurant has adequate service and food although the wait time for meals in the evening can be a test of patience. Breakfast is much quicker and if you wish the breakfast buffet, it is complete and well presented. The coffee we had there both times was the best we have had anywhere during our past month in Belgium! Regarding the waiters in the evening (January 2nd) I must say the women staff and one man (I believe his name was Driss) were the ones doing the work. They constantly circulated the areas and responded to guest requests and needs, the other men just took up space. I had to mention this because it was just so obvious.

Auf einem Nachtaufenthalt, auf dem Luxus-Coach mit Fahrern Paul & Paul mit Leger Urlaub auf einem 16-Tagen Arktis Circle und das Land des Mitternachts Sonnenurlaub, das war unsere letzte Nacht, die ich in diesem Hotel vor im Oktober 2022 auf einem vorherigen Aufenthalt gehabt habe Ferien mit Leger, es ist ein fabulöses Hotel, geräumige Zimmer, komfortable Betten, TV, Haartrockner, Tee- und Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, das Badezimmer hatte ein Bad und eine separate Dusche, ausgezeichnete Hausaufbewahrung, alles, was Sie für Ihren Aufenthalt benötigt, Wir hatten ein schönes Abendessen im Restaurant, das Frühstück war Buffet-Stil mit viel Auswahl, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Glaslifts sind erstaunlich und der Sitzbereich in der Rezeption ist modern, ich genossen meinen Aufenthalt.
