Es wird empfohlen, dieses Hotel nicht zu buchen, man fühlt sich gegenüber asiatischen Touristen diskriminiert! Und die Lage ist überhaupt nicht in der kleinen Stadt Voss! Jeder wählt sorgfältig! Sei nicht so elend wie wir! und! Das Hotel verweigert die Kommunikation! Overlord-Klausel! Touristen austricksen!

Their service and cleanness were terrible. The quality of the breakfast is so bad. They didn’t even vacuum and clean the room before our checking. Their service in Resturant and in reception of hotel was terrible. I am not recommended at all. It was the terrible hotel I have ever been there. It was not clean at all!!

It was quite new resorts next to the ski center Long waiting at check-in due to only reception on the phone for 20min. Finally get help from the service desk next door. Excellent Service from Waiter & Waitress inside the Restaurant. Will want to stay again.

Gute Lage aber teuer und nicht geeignet für Paare. Die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer war kaputt, die lief auf Hochtouren und war so laut, das man nicht schlafen konnte. Angeblich ist das so in Norwegen… Nachts wurden wir geweckt von wahlweise Musik und lautem Gesang, Klopfen an der Tür oder grölenden Jugendlichen, die ihre Mopeds testen mussten. Eine Kindergruppe von 100 Kindern wurde einquartiert und wir verloren dadurch unseren Tisch beim Abendessen. Nun hatten wir die Wahl zwischen einem Tisch in einer Türöffnung zum Treppenhaus oder mitten im Restaurant im Gang. Die Kellner waren unfreundlich und haben uns ignoriert. Nur wenige Personen des Personals kann man als freundlich bezeichnen. Das Hotel bietet auch ansonsten nichts. Keine Sauna, keine Sonnenterrasse oder sonstiges. Nur Hotel und Gastronomie. Diese überall eher kantinenartig. Wir sind schon nach 3 Tagen abgereist, weil wir uns den Urlaub nicht noch mehr verderben lassen wollten. Wir haben ein anderes Hotel gefunden und dort ist die Klimaanlage ganz leise.

Hier ist im Winter eher mehr los als im Sommer, da das Hotel ein Ski Resort ist. Die Piste beginnt direkt hinter dem Hotel. Auch im Sommer schön anzusehen und man kann hier schöne Spaziergänge unternehmen. Lage & Umgebung Myrkdalen ist ein aufstrebender Ski Ort und es gibt einige Lifte und Chalets rund um das große Skiresort. Das Hotel an sich ist leicht zu finden und liegt im Sommer inmitten der grünen Natur sehr schön. Zimmer Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Balkon und Sicht auf die grünen bewaldeten Berge ringsherum. Das hat uns gut gefallen. Auch das Zimmer war sehr luxuriös und schön eingerichtet. Hier fehlt es an nichts. Gute Ausstattung, schnelles WLAN und ausreichend Steckdosen sind vorhanden. Das Bad ist mit einer guten Dusche ausgestattet. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und uns auch sonst sehr wohl hier gefühlt. Service In der schönen Lobby gibt es den ganzen Tag Kaffee und Tee gratis. Der Check in war sehr freundlich ebenso der Check out. Gastronomie Wir haben im Bistro Restaurant zu Mittag gegessen , es war nicht ganz billig aber qualitativ sehr gut und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war sehr entspannt und nett. Hat uns gut gefallen. Frühstück gab es in einem anderen Restaurant. Auch hier war alles in Ordnung. Auswahl nicht riesig aber dennoch alles sehr gut lecker.

Hotel is lovely, slopes are great, ski instructors were very helpful. But if you are a vegetarian then get ready to eat the same meal every evening. Risotto. Went to the Fondue restaurant this evening and there were no veggie options at all. Very disappointing.

Starting with the good, this is a lovely hotel, our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with a nice spacious bathroom. There was a kettle, but no coffee or tea supplies provided. The bad I have to say was breakfast. The food was very good, the other guests were the problem. The front desk staff did warn us that it would be better to arrive later after the morning bus group would be having breakfast, but we had to leave early on our second day. I think management needs to make a change to how bus groups should enter the dining area, and not advise other guests to wait for them to be finished. There was no reason for such total mayhem! The people from the bus group just crowded by the door waiting for it to open and not queuing up as we had started to do. When the door was opened they all rushed the food area, from left and right, like they had not eaten for days. OMG I have never had people stand so close behind me waiting to grab the serving spoon from my hand!

We arrived at the hotel rather late and had to leave early the following morning so our stay was very short. However the room was very nice . There was a kettle but no cups or complimentary coffee and when I questioned this the man in reception told me that their budget didn't run to free coffee ( incredible in such an expensive hotel )

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Perfect for skiing, especially amongst family and friends. Many of the guests travelled up from nearby Bergen, they clearly appreciated everything this hotel has to offer too. Highly recommended.

We stayed mid Feb (over half term) in interconnecting rooms on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis. We flew Gatwick to Bergen on Norwegian Air. Arrival:- Norwegian Air were fine so not sure why so many people complain about them! We were on the plane less time than in the coach for our transfer! Bergen Airport – organised, clean and quick (immigration and luggage collection). Hotel organised transfer and driver was waiting as we walked out of final security. Transfer was in a nice coach and took 2 hours there and just over on the way back due to traffic on a Sunday. Upon arrival at the hotel check in was relatively quick although info was a little lacking re ski passes, ski collection, lockers etc. Our ski pass QR code didn’t work on the machines in the hotel so we walked next door and they were really helpful and sorted. There are ski lockers but they are limited to approx. 30 – none available when we arrived but one became available the next day. There is boot and ski storage which probably out of school holidays is less manic. Ski hire – hectic on day 1 and first lesson start was delayed as a result. We pre-ordered our equipment which helped so if you can then I would suggest doing that. Ski’s and boots were good, helmets limited at the start but then we swapped after the initial rush calmed down. Rooms – comfortable beds and pillows. One room had a sofa and the other a balcony (good for chilling drinks!). Bathroom was adequate and storage area had plenty of hooks and enough hanging space. Restaurants – upon arrival we were given a dining schedule for the week where we had to chose where and when we ate (one meal in Nuten Fondue and one in Tunet). Breakfast was a buffet style in Restaurant Nuten – it was busy from 7:30 but gets quieter from 8:30 onwards as people move from food to skiing preparation. Good selection of bread (no toaster), pancakes, cooked breakfast options, pastries yogurt and fruit. Evening meal was a set 3 course dinner but you could choose from the menu if you wanted. Good variety of drinks at the expected high prices. Fondue was lovely (meat and cheese) and meal in Tunet was really good. Lunch was either in Kamben, Fjellstova Vetlebotn or Myrkdalsstovo – food and drinks were nice in each. FV, in our opinion for lunch, had the most selection and was pretty cool being up in the mountains. For those who are less experienced the red run to it and from it back to the blues was easy. Skiing – was excellent for us. Our 2 kids were beginners and with 5 morning lessons by the end of the week were doing jumps and blue/red runs. One of the lifts was out of order for most of the time we were there but they kept other lifts open for longer to compensate. We rarely queued for a lift which was brilliant. There was so much snow and whilst temperatures were below zero we didn’t feel cold. The slopes Mon-Fri were quiet but at the weekend were slightly busier. On the Saturday we did the cruise which was brilliant

We are on a winter holiday with a larger group. There are many people and it gives a good atmosphere. The room is clean and a bit small for three people and skiing gear. We’ve plenty of snow and enjoy the slopes and the excellent possibilities for off-piste skiing. The restaurants are good and the personal very friendly. The only thing I miss is a huge sauna.

We visited this hotel out of season and there was a lack of facilities for guests. There was no gym, pool, the chair lift was closed and the walks were not clearly signed. The hotel was quiet, the restaurant staff were very friendly, but on a rainy day, there is nothing to do here.
