Vesuvio View

Vesuvio View, is a little Gem of a place. Beautifully clean with spacious bedrooms & lovely pristine decor. We had an extremely comfortable bed with a Memory foam mattress, which you don't get often with a B & B. There was a large shower cubicle in the ensuite too. Stunning views from our balcony complete with a balcony set, to sit & watch the beautiful sunsets over the sea. A lovely continental breakfast is supplied, with a good selection of pastries, yogurts, breads, cheese, fruit & other tasty treats. A good choice of hot & cold drinks too. This was all laid out in the lovely breakfast room. Breakfast could be taken out onto the large outdoor terrace, to enjoy the stunning views of Mount Vesuvius.... Glorious. The star of the show is the host Kevin. From the introductory message before arrival, to giving us help & advice on how to get to the B & B from the train station, to meeting us out the front of the building & to helping us carry our cases up to our room, nothing was too much trouble for him. He was very attentive, approachable & happy to chat about anything & everything. He advised us on the best places to eat locally, transport & what to expect on our day trips to other areas. He even supplied us with a bag of breakfast goodies for us to take on one of our day trips as we had an early start one morning & we would have missed breakfast otherwise. There is a grocery store, just out the front of the B & B, which is very well stocked. Vesuvio View is also quite conveniently located near a train station, so Naples, Sorrento & everything in between are easily accessible. We will definitely return!

This was laid out beautifully in the breakfast room & then could be taken out on to the very large outdoor terrace, to enjoy the stunning views over Mount Versuvious.. Glorious! Vesuvio View was by far our favorite of the three places we stayed during our 8 day trip to Italy. The room itself was immaculately clean and nicely designed. The view was great from the terrace. The location in Seiano was perfect, nice and quiet but still accessible by train (we appreciated being away from the mobs of tourists once we saw what Sorrento was like). The walk down to the beach is especially beautiful. Above everything though was the incredible service from our host Kevin. He made us feel totally at home- giving us great recommendations, setting out a nice breakfast each morning, and lending us beach towels or whatever else we needed. Truly a great experience!

It is a great place to stay; the host was very nice. Close to a bus station and not too far from everything else.

Excellent B&B. Large,CLEAN/spotless rooms. Great views, nice balcony off our room. Host Kevin is very nice, he advised us on local (walking distance) restaurants and attractions. Fabulous deli/grocery store on street level. All restaurants Kevin recommended turned out fabulous. Book early, only 4 suites. 6 stars!

Compelled to write a review as I've had such an amazing time. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well equipped. The view from the private balcony and breakfast terrace is outstanding. Location is perfect - I counted 4 restaurants within a 5 minute walk, there is a deli and small supermarket downstairs, and 10 minute walk from the train station. Pompeii is about 35 minutes by train, Sorrento about 20. The real star is Kevin - the host! Very polite and willing to go the extra mile for all his guests. So attentive and kind, and he has great recommendations for the area. I would, without hesitation, book this hotel again if I came back to the area.
