"It was a surprise. I sent an email in advance. There was a hotel car directly to the station. The road was not far away, but the road was narrow and steep. It was a little discouraged. When I arrived at the hotel, I found that it was too beautiful. The bay below the cliff was too beautiful. The design of the room was also very amazing. The boss and his wife were very nice. The breakfast room is super beautifully decorated"

"Disappointing experience. We booked for four people for Sunday with a fixed menu, specifying our food intolerances. However, when we arrived, the request was completely ignored, without offering us alternative dishes. Only after several complaints did the chef arrive and offer us a different first course. For the rest, we had to adapt to reduced dishes. However, the cost was the same as the full menu. Highly not recommended."

"Wir sind gerade von einem 4-Nacht-Wohnsitz in Baia Serena zurückgekommen. Was sagen Sie? Für diejenigen, die gerne in der Mitte des Grüns, der Natur leben, mit herrlichen Blicken, ist es der ideale Ort! Wir wurden von Joseph und Rosa, den Besitzern, begrüßt, die uns wie zu Hause fühlen lassen. Sie haben uns gute Ratschläge über die Orte, wo zu besuchen oder zu essen oder zu essen. Am Morgen war für den, der das Frühstück auf einer schönen Terrasse verbrauchen wollte, ein gutes Frühstück verfügbar. Wir würden gerne zurückkehren. Danke für die schönen Erinnerungen!"

L'Ulivo Resort

"Lovely quiet B&B up in the hills above Vico. Excellent pool area with gardens and quality sun loungers. Smart outdoor and indoor dining areas for breakfast or daytime drinks. The pool is fab by the way. Pictures don't really do it justice. It's nice and deep and lovely and refreshing. L'Ulivo itself is situated in a small town with a few nice restaurants and a supermarket. The pick of these would be the Pescheria which gets extremely busy. Handy ice cream / cafe close by but no sandwiches or snacks. Typically we ate lunch at Da Giovanni next door or went into town. Bus to town and back can vary in frequency from 30 minutes to 2 hourly. This may change though when the Funivia bus is back up and running. Walk to town is simple if you don't do the bus. 2 flights of steps, then head diagonally right to the main road, through the gate opposite and keep going down. No need to walk on the busy main road just continue down the little paths and steps. Getting back is a bit more of a challenge but the bus runs regularly up the hill and it's best to get this from the bus / train station if you want a seat. Getting around Campania is also very easy. Pompeii & Sorrento not far using the train and very cheap. We did Capri but sailed from Vico Marina rather than Sorrento. Final day we took the pre-booked Curreri Viaggio bus back to Naples airport which was quick and comfortable and then took the alibus into the city (quick and not so comfortable) to grab the best pizza I have ever eaten. Finally a shout out to the staff at L'Ulivo. Super friendly and really made sure we had a nice holiday. Ciao, ciao, ciao !"

"Lampara mare is like feeling at home near the sea. From the moment you checked in Martina was kind and helpful, a wonderful hostess. The room was tastefully furnished and with all comforts. The view from the veranda was spectacular, a corner of paradise. The delicious dinner and the cook Maria pampered us. The rich breakfast concluded a wonderful weekend."
