I recently travelled to Varkala, Kerala with family and booked (through Miss Deepa - make my trip person) for a 5 star property and asked for the same while bookign and they charged almost 17000 for 1 night for the same. surprisingly when I checked in the room was so dirty, linen old and dirty, lizards in room , ac water leaking in the room, food improperl cooked, restrooms filthy smelling, drinking water we have to fill from a tap and didn't bother to provide complementary water bottles for the priced property as above and soo bad we could recongnise the problem asked the hotel staff that if it is a star rted property for which they clearly said it was not a rated roperty at all. Immeditely I informed the Makemytrip team and had very poor response from them and they just closed the ticket even without solving it. I asked them to refund as they made an obvious mistake, I have clear video and photo evidence for the same and they are not even responding to the same. I suggest all travellers don't believe in them as BRAND but double check ur self instead of payng such fraudsters.

Ich habe auf der Straße geparkt. Geschäftsführer: Er ist sehr unhöflich. Am Telefon sagte er uns, er würde Essen servieren, aber bei der Ankunft bestritt er dies. Zimmergröße: Buchen Sie keine Standardzimmer mit Klimaanlage; sie sind sehr klein und Sie werden keine Aussicht haben. Gesamtbewertung: Bei diesem Preis erhalten Sie viele Optionen. Wenn Sie dies buchen, halten Sie Ihre Erwartungen niedrig.

Now this resort became my second home. I am very happy to travel again to Palmtree Heritage. The only difference is that, this time I am traveling with my friends. Nothing changed much same beach same hospitality only the staff changed. It's a shame i couldn't travel much cuz of pandamic. Nw i am going to achieve everything one by one

It is a beautiful property amidst nature. Huge rooms with a very nice verandah. We spent most of our time in verandah. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are clean and tidy. The washrooms are also big with toiletries provided and geyser is also there for hot water. Electric kettle is not provided. However kitchen is open for you with all items stocked up. Special note of thanks to Mr. Dinesh, the manager who makes your stay so warm and comfortable. We reached before check-in time (2 pm) and Mr. Dinesh was kind enough to get a room ready for us in half hour. He also arranges auto on call. He is very helpful and resourceful. The beach is just a few steps away. It has a really amazing view with perfect sunsets. Coming to food, since it is a small homestay they don't have much options. There is a resort (Magnolia) next to this homestay and they have a active running kitchen and they serve good north Indian food as well. We ate our meals there only on Mr. Dinesh's recommendation. The food was tasty and made as per our taste. We had breakfast included in our booking. It is better to opt for room without breakfast option. For one thing the cook comes at 8 am and we got our breakfast at 9.20 am which is late if you want to go out for some sightseeing before check-out (12 pm). Also breakfast had just 1 item - appam with sambhar and chutney. They made omlette for me on request. But in general in Varkala they provide just a single item in breakfast in bnb. Overall it is a very comfortable homestay located in a quiet and peaceful surrounding with the sound of waves greeting you. A perfect place to wind down!!

Sutta is located towards the south and quieter side of the varkala coast. Booking and check in was a very smooth experience. The manager navneet ***** with faiz is always ready to help and willing to go the distance with all requests. The double deluxe was very spacious and comfortable with a proper dry and wet area in the bathroom. A lovely little balcony which is sea facing. The room is optimally equipped with basic necessities and clean sheets, towels and mats placed. The lighting is also very well done. The varkala cliff is a 10 mins drive or 25 mins walk. However the oddayam beach is just a 3 min walk. You walk out turn left and go down to the beach. And this beach is always less crowded than any other beaches with about 6-7 foot waves for surfers. They also have a swimming pool within the premises which is a very pleasant addition. The mangroves are a 30 mins drive and jatayu earths centre is again 30 mins by drive. We thank the owner andre who we met for just 5 mins but was very interesting to talk to. Overall a fantastic experience because of which i extended my stay too! thank you!

We've booked the room at 5. 30pm and we reached there at 9, but their checkout time was tomorrow 11am. And they didn't agree to extend my timing. But the room was clean and the surroundings were so calm and silent!
