Mellow Ladies Hostel

Worst experience ever!!! Never choose this!! A group of us girls were looking for a good place to stay at Varkala. We saw good reviews for this zostel and we booked the rooms. Unfortunately, due to some circumstances, we had to cancel. We asked for a refund well in advance about 2 weeks before the date of our stay and they even promised to pay us back. They said it would take upto 7 working days. It's been 3 weeks since and we haven't gotten our money back. We asked multiple times and the receptionist Arun said that the funds are handled by Aji and he is on medical leave and we will only get a refund once Aji is back. We asked when he will be back and there was no answer. Also, he stopped answering our calls and when called from another number he said he would give the money that day. Again, he was not picking the call and we had one of the policeman call him and he said he will give the money yesterday. Later, when we asked for our refund he said "ningalude picha kaash njan enthu cheyyana"(what am I gonna do with your begged money?) and he is no longer attending calls. We need our money back even if it is "picha kaash" to you.
