Hotelli on jo aika kulunut. Tyynyt tosi muhkuraiset ja huonot. Vessassa haisi kissanpissa ja suhkukaappien ovet olivat vanhat ja likaisen näköiset. Ei myöskään mitään erikoisempaa hiustuotetta tai vastaavaa vaan oli kuin ruotsinlaivoilla perus samppoo ja saippua yhdessä ja yksi koepussi ihorasvaa. Myös en päässyt esim katsomaan Netflixiä tai vastaavaa ilman omia koodeja. Aamupala oli niin perus kun olla voi. Ei mitään ylimääräistä.

Pieni huone mutta yllätys, yllätys toimiva ilmastointi. Aamiainen tosi suppea ja kaikki oli kokoajan loppu. Henkilökunta yrmeä. Tyypillinen osuuskaupan ketjuhotelli. Mitään kunkaallista (Royal) ei kyllä ollut!

Newly re-opened and fully renovated hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast selection was impressive and served even until noon at weekends. Sauna area with pool and big balconies were great. That all was on the top floor (11th) and thus, there was a noce view over Vaasa and in the evenings you can buy and enjoy drinks there as well. The gym was also good and spacious although there were few other people training at same time.

Stayed in the renovated Sokos Hotel Royal and was pleased with how the hotel has changed since my last visit. The spa/pool area on the top floor is especially wonderful. The pool isn't large, so if it’s crowded, there won't be too much space for actual swimming. The refurbished rooms are nice; however, I am not too keen on the yellowish colour scheme. Breakfast is good, although the dining area doesn't have much natural light and doesn't feel very cozy. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable room. Lovely big shower. Beds very comfy too 👍 I loved the colours in the room and the interior design of the hotel too.

This hotel is slightly old. However, new building is under constraction now. So, sooner we will be able to get nice hotel. Quality of breackfast is very good!

This centrally located hotel near the railway station has two wings: the historic Central building and the newer tall building across the street. During 2023-24, there will be a complete renovation for both buildings. At the moment, it is going on in the higher building and only the Central building is in use. This building has been a hotel for 80 years. The old-time atmosphere can be best felt in the 2nd-floor restaurant. The hallways were quite shabby. We booked a Superior room. Our room was very spacious because it was a disabled room. The bathroom was also extra spacious but outdated. The room itself was a mix of modern and old furniture. The television was quite small considering the size of the room. Breakfast was pleasantly calm. The food selection was quite wide as usual at Sokos hotels.

Good business oriented hotel in Vaasa city center near market square. Old school conference areas. Nice 10th floor penthouse sauna with swimming pool. Good breakfast. Parking area under main building. Friendly and professional staff in hotel.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. My room was in the old part called central. The room had no air conditioning and there was something really wrong in the whole building. The corridors smelled bad and me and many of my co-travellers suffered of headache, red eyes and cough in the morning due to the bad air in the rooms. When we complained about the rooms in the morning the staff said that they are aware of the situation. The staff was very nice and helpfull but the hotel really sucks.

The people working there have been nice and friendly. The bed was good. The air in the room was pure aircondition, means dry and a bit of a chemical odor. So I had to get me the Tool to open the window from reception.... When I returned after work, I could small the sink from the bathroom. The breakfast was below average. Two big piles of sliced cheese, which was almost without any taste. By the end of the week they ran out of juice so a guest had to ask the kitchen to fix it. Overall this place seems to be stuck in the eighties. I will in Vaasa again soon, but I will choice another Hotel for sure
