Modernes, sauberes Hotel direkt am Strand. Hat uns gut gefallen, weitere Strände in Laufnähe. Kommen gerne wieder

В целом, хороший отель семейного типа. Хозяйка часто сама встречает гостей, помогает с возникающими вопросами. Персонал приветливый, но медленный. Ресторан с приличной кухней. Особенно хороша пицца с морепродуктами (готовится в печи на открытом огне). Комнаты чистые, с минимальной обстановкой, кондиционер работает отлично, на потолке дополнительно есть вентилятор. В шкафу сейф - это плюс, но нет холодильника и чайника - это минус. Отдельная радость - балкон. Большой, просторный, с видом на море и внутренний двор. На деревьях живут бельчата, вокруг поют птички, по ночам летают светлячки и приятно шумит прибой. Отель находится прямо на пляже с мелким песочком и чистейшей водой. Буквально у подножия отеля есть камни, к которым часто приплывают морские черепахи.
Словом, локация идеальна. А неспешный сервис и небольшие недочёты спишем на особенности менталитета.
Рекомендую.

We traveled in May 2022 as a family with 2 kids. We got room in the upstairs with a beautiful view of the sea. Room was clean and very spacious. You can simply walk out from the hotel to the beach. We had a lovely time at beach. The food is great. We all loved it very much. Upul and Chathuranga, staff members were very helpful and polite. We would definitely visit this place again !

This Hotel is perfectly located on the calm side of the bay. I stayed 3 nights and loved it to jump into the sea in the morning without taking anything with me, just 20 steps from the hotel to the sea. Until midday, there is a shadowed place in the Sand & you can always find a deckchair in the shadow of the gardenarea. Breakfast was included & very delicious with several options like pancake or eggs in different styles. Also for lunch or dinner I can highly recommend the restaurant!

Very nice small hotel, the location and view are wow, which was the first thing attracted us to the hotel as it's literally direct to the beach. The owner is very friendly, also the staff all are very polite and smiling all time, specially Chathuranga is very friendly and smiling. They also have a restaurant in the hotel which I personally recommend it! Nice food options and the prices are very acceptable.

Very nice small hotel, the location and view are wow, which was the first thing attracted us to the hotel as it's literally direct to the beach. The owner is very friendly, also the staff all are very polite and smiling all time, specially Chathuranga is very friendly and smiling. They also have a restaurant in the hotel which I personally recommend it! Nice food options and the prices are very acceptable. The only draw back was the quietness as it was a bit noisy at late night.

I loved my stay at the Sun n sea hotel. It was clean and maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room had hot water shower, AC ,mosquito net, wiifii and tables and chairs outside your door on the balcony. Great sea view. One night I saw a big turtle on the beach. The food was excellent. A nice mix of Sri Lankan and european food. Their coffee is the best I had in all of sri lanka and I travelled around the whole country. Sri lanka is TEA country.... most of their coffee taste like dirty water but sun n sea made it correctly :) Their breakfast menu was excellent, they even had French toast. I highly recommend it and will book again if I go to Sri lanka again.

Great location, decent food. That's on the positive side. Dirty and stained bedsheets, bugs, lizards, spiders and spider webs in the room, including in the bathroom. We stayed around 1 hour in the room, while I took the fastest shower of my life, constantly checking if the lizard who disappeared somewhere in the walls would decide to return. Mould on the bathroom walls and the towels had a funky smell. We left for another hotel and we paid 4000 lkr for that 1 hour we spent in the room.
