Our son and his family have moved to Ulsan about a year ago for work in the shipping industry and this was our first visit. His work colleague recommended this hotel and helped us book it. The hotel was spacious and clean, the room was comfortable, the room amenities included toothbrushes and bathrobes as well as the other usual toiletries. The staff were very professional and pleasant and spoke English well. The buffet breakfast was diverse and plentiful. The food included traditional western breakfast foods (eggs, cereal, toast and pastries, sausages, fruit, etc.) and Asian offerings such as noodles, dumplings, fried rice, soup, and a variety of salads, cold cuts and cheeses as well as meat and fish dishes). Milk, juices, coffee and tea were also offered. The tavern offers a nice cocktail and beer menu, but when we tried to order a martini, we were told that we could only select from the menu and that no other options were available. Not a big deal, but rather surprising. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is right across the street from the main entrance to the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard, and also across the street from the large Hyundai Department store. All those locations were walkable, as was the local market street, the nearby hospital, and many of the residential high rises. We didn't walk to the beach, but we could have. We were visiting family with a 2 year old so we didn't go to restaurants while we were there. Of note, the location of this hotel is actually Dong-gu, which is the equivalent of a large American suburban town to Ulsan. It is quite far from downtown Ulsan, and about a 40 minute taxi ride from Ulsan station. There is no easy public transportation from Ulsan or the station to Dong-gu. From what I could tell, and from what my son tells me, you either need a car, or need to be willing to take taxis to go very far away from Dong-gu to any attractions or tourist destinations. We were very please with our experience at the Hotel Hyundai and will definitely stay there on our next visit.

Shilla Stay is a budget business hotel by Shilla Group. It is highly standardized decor and design as I also stayed at Shilla at Jeju. Best budget business hotel in my opinion in Korea as it is extremely clean, there is proper cleaning daily, toiletries and water/tea in room. Bed is also firm which I like but pillows are too soft.. but that's just me. Gym is opened 24/7. They even have a KRW8,800 free flow draft beer for 3 hrs in the evening. Highly recommended for families looking for budget but sanitary stay!

Die Einrichtungen waren sauber und die Gegenstände darin waren ebenfalls sauber. Ich konnte bei Bedarf bequem Pinsel, Seife, Lotion usw. verwenden und die Lage war zentral, so dass ich mich leicht bewegen konnte. Ich hatte keine hohen Erwartungen an das Frühstück, aber es war köstlich und die Speisekarte war abwechslungsreich. Ich werde es beim nächsten Mal wieder verwenden!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig und schön Ich bin bewusst zu einem Ort mit Fitnesscenter gegangen, um Sport zu treiben, war aber sehr enttäuscht, weil es keine Bänke gab. Das Parken war gut und schnell, um Ballett zu spielen, aber die Parkgebühr von 5.000 Won war etwas enttäuschend. Das Frühstück wurde auf dem Tisch serviert, daher scheint es unterschiedliche Meinungen zu geben.

Alle Zimmer haben Meerblick - dies ist ein sehr zufriedenstellendes Hotel. Das Gebäude wurde gerade gebaut, also ist es sauber und sauber. Es war eine Nacht und es war so gut, dass ich auf Trip.com für einen anderen Tag reserviert habe und aufeinanderfolgende Nächte geblieben bin ~ Es war besser, weil das Rauschen der Wellen nachts so gut zu hören war und es im ersten Stock auch ein Restaurant und ein Café gab.
