Ideally located when travelling from Bilbao to Portugal. Very clean, large room with comfortable beds. Staff were efficient at the front desk. Did not use the restaurant. Instead, went across the road to Meson del Douro for dinner. Service was quick. If you don’t speak Spanish translate menu online so you know what to order.

El parador está bien ubicado y las instalaciones limpias y espacios amplios, por lo q deberían habilitar estancias para fumadores. Lo que no es nada recomendable es la comida del restaurante. Tanto la calidad del producto como su elaboración no están a la altura de un cuatro estrellas y restauración dos tenedores.

Meine Frau und ich reisen seit fast 10 Jahren mit unseren zwei, ruhigen Hunden(Collies) durch Europa. Wir waren sehr erfreut, das in einigen Paradores mittlerweile auch Hunde erlaubt sind. Das jedes Hotel eine extra Fee (20€) pro Hund nimmt ist ok und auch nur verständlich. Nicht ok ist wenn ein Pardore verlangt ein extra Zimmer zu buchen damit man mit zwei Hunden dort übernachten kann. Diese Vorgehensweise haben wir bisher in noch keinem Hotel in ganz Westeuropa kennengelernt. Das kann das Parador de Tordesillas noch verbessern, denn die Location ist schon sehr gut, wenn man mit seinen Hunden auf der Durchreise ist.

Leider wurde im Zimmer vorher geraucht, so daß Badezimmer und Schlafraum nach Zigaretten rochen.Obwohl wir dies reklamierten, wurde uns kein anderes Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Das ist kein 4 Sterne Standart und kann den Gästen nicht angeboten werden.

The Parador de Tordesillas doesn’t seem as old as many but was still a pleasant place to stay. It is set amongst pine trees not far from the A6. The rooms are large and comfortable . The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and evening meal were tasty. A great place to stay

This is a purpose built hotel on edge of town, close by the motorway. There is an outdoor car park. Some building work was in progress but, other than closing the outdoor pool and surrounding area, this had no impact on our stay. There is also a small(ish) indoor pool and gym. There were English speaking staff on reception, at bar and in the restaurant. The bar was nice with good, very helpful, barman. We had a spacious well-equipped room which had everything you could reasonably want. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in restaurant with great attentive, but not intrusive, service. The whole experience was what we have grown use to over the years in Paradors and we were consequently really happy with our stay.

Booked here on our through Spain heading south. Wonderful location and beautiful architecture matched by highly helpful and friendly staff. Room was spacious and comfortable, exactly what we needed after a 7 hour drive. Drinks were very reasonable and breakfast left us spoilt for choice, everything fresh and tasty. If you want a quiet location with loads of history close to Valladolid, don’t look any further. We will return

We stopped for the night after having to change our parador from Lerma as the town had a fiesta, and we were concerned about parking. The room was ok. The bed comfy and the bathroom was ok, although it would be better if they removed the bidet so you could open the door wider. We walked into the town where we found a lovely plaza to sit and enjoy a beer in the sunshine. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. We both had a starter and main but should have forgone the starters as we had far too much food! I had the suckling pig and husband the suckling lamb. Both were ok, but we had higher expectations after reading other reviews.

A really excellent Parador that is well located for the ferry from Santander. It is comfortable and serves delicious food and is to be recommended
