Zentral gelegen in der historischen Altstadt Toledo. Auf der Hauptstraße und leicht zugänglich über Taxi, Fahren oder Spaziergang. Ich liebe die Dekoration, moderne Einrichtungen innerhalb der Schale eines alten Gebäudes. Dusche war erstaunlich, und das Wasser war heiß. Das Frühstück wurde mit dem Frühstück ausgewählt, das Ihnen alles angeboten hat, was Sie für einen Tag in der Stadt benötigen. Eines zu beachten - es ist ein altes Gebäude und es gibt eine Klimakontrolle für das gesamte Gebäude, es ist entweder auf AC oder Wärme je nach Saison festgelegt und Sie nicht wählen. Die Fenster öffnen ist eine Option, aber Sie sind in der Stadt und es ist laut draußen. Wahrscheinlich nicht ein Problem, es sei denn, Sie reisen auf der Saison. Ich hatte kein Problem mit den Fenstern zu schlafen, aber ich hörte mehrere Gäste, die während unseres Aufenthalts Beschwerden hatten.

We stayed here for three nights. Check in was smooth and speedy. We stayed in room 210 . The view wasn't great but we weren't really bothered by that . It was quiet , away from the road . The room had an en suite with shower over the bath and a hairdryer and individually wrapped soaps/shower gels. It had aircon but we didn't need that. In fact it was a bit cool on the first night. There didn't seem to be any heating. There was spare blankets in the wardrobe. There was a tv but we didn't use that. There wasn't any coffee/tea making facilities in the room or a safe. There was safety deposit boxes at reception. We were booked in for bed and breakfast. The staff in the restaurant in the morning were very nice. I don't drink tea/coffee so they made me hot lemon and honey every morning . I also use honey in my yoghurt which theirs had crystalized a bit so was hard to get out. The next morning she'd put it in hot water to soften it up for me before I'd arrived. These things might not seem much but to me it's these little things that are appreciated. The location is very good for sightseeing this lovely city

Mein Mann und ich fahren zurück aus Portugal und entschieden, dass wir in Toledo abbrechen werden. Wir blieben in diesem Hotel. Was für ein erstaunliches Hotel ist es. Und die Preise sind sehr erschwinglich.Das Gebäude ist schön (Architektur). Es war wie in einem kleinen Schloss. Das Personal begrüßte uns (wir kamen ein bisschen zu spät). Sie schlugen vor, wo wir essen gehen (lokale Lebensmittel mit den lokalen) zu dieser Zeit, sie erklärten sogar die Regeln und Schließzeiten etc re diese Stadt während dieser Zeit und Korona Beschränkungen. Das Zimmer, in dem wir geblieben waren, war erstaunlich. Blick auf die ganze Stadt. Wir hatten eine erstaunliche Terrasse/Patio.Wir wurden von der Sicht, die wir hatten, zurückgenommen. Das Badezimmer war große Waren mit Seife usw. Bidet enthalten. Heizung war gut. Moderne Möbel. Im Winter sind die Boden im spanischen (durch ganze Stadt) normalerweise kalt, dieses Hotel war fast so, als hätten sie Bodenheizung (wer weiß). Es hat ein sehr warmes, gemütliches Gefühl. Das Bett war komfortabel und zusätzliches Bett geliefert. Internet funktionierte gut. Dieses Hotel sollte ein 4- oder 5-Sterne-Hotel sein. Ein kurzer Spaziergang in die Stadt, die Lage ist absolut perfekt. Adriana und alle an der Rezeption waren freundlich und hilfreich. Nun, da wir dieses Hotel entdeckt haben, werden wir sicher zurück sein. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft, die Los Cigarrales angezeigt wurde, halten Sie die tolle Arbeit. Perfekt!!! Jetzt gehen ....book!! :)

Great Hotel in the city centre. Top location. Spacious rooms with great beds. Nice staff. Mini Bar. The free walking tour in. English starts in the front of the hotel. The sightseeing busses ar with 50 metres. Ideal for a two or three days stay in the old city of Toledo

Llegamos al lugar a media tarde y no había nadie en recepción, ni al llegar ni al salir por la mañana, el sitio en sí es bonito, muy bien decorado, con bonitas paredes de piedra y ladrillo y habitaciones amplias con techos muy altos. La habitación estaba limpia pero tan sólo teníamos una sábana y una colcha muy fina como de verano, había una manta en una balda pero también era fina, la habitación estaba muy muy fría y cuando encendimos la calefacción no calentaba, llamamos al teléfono que habia en la puerta del hotel y a la 3 llamada nos cogieron diciéndonos que podíamos coger otra manta ya que la calefacción supuestamente calentaba perfectamente. Estuvo puesta toda la noche, metiendo un ruido infernal que sumado al del agua que caia por las tuberías del piso de arriba impedía el sueño, en ningún momento la habitación cogió una temperatura para estar cómodos, pasamos frío y encima la ventana (encima del cabecero) no tenía persiana ni estor que quitase correctamente la luz y el frío se colaba por debajo de la cortina directamente a nuestras cabezas. Por no hablar del baño, ahí ni entraba el aire “caliente” de la calefacción y al tener ventana estaba helado, el agua caliente tardó un montón en salir y en la ducha se te pegaba todo el rato al cuerpo la cortina ya que la habían puesto muy cerca de la pared y apenas tenias espacio. La habitación no estaba bien aislada porque se oia a la perfección la gente que pasaba por la calle y la puerta de entrada al hotel. Por todo ello la experiencia ha sido mala, no volvería a repetir ni recomendaría este establecimiento a nadie, juegan únicamente con que la decoración es bonita pero confort muy decepcionante. El barrio en el que se encuentra también es un poco desangelado, poca iluminación y con no demasiada buena pinta.

A visit to Toledo should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Spain. The City of Three Cultures sits on a hill, surrounded on three sides by the River Tagus, attesting to the old adage that location is everything. The Roman historian, Livy (a.59 BCE-17CE) mentioned it as being a small city but fortified by location. The three cultures being of course, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The evidence of these cultures are found all over the old city. Indeed, it is the influence of these cultures and the structures that they left behind, that were instrumental in Toledo being inducted into the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1986. Today, it is a lively city, its streets and squares filled with residents mingling with tourists. We booked Hotel Medina de Toledo without really knowing how close it lay to the Historic Center of Toledo. We were pleased to see that it actually lies within the walls in the outer perimeter. You are just ca. 100 meters from the Aparcamiento Miradero (Parking), from which there is an escalator that leads you right up to the actual town. The hotel website states that you are a four minute walk from the Puerta del Sol City Gate and Plaza de Zocodover. A five minute walk from Puerta Bisagra Gate, seven minutes from the Alcazar and ten minutes from Toledo Cathedral. Tops on location. This small hotel has 18 rooms arranged on three floors. Because the hotel is located on an incline, the lobby is located on the top floor, but is on street level. The hotel staff are very friendly, in fact we greeted by the owner of the facility and were treated very well. The hotel advertises that multi languages are spoken, Spanish, Portuguese, English, French and Italian. As the hotel basically sits into the hill, the rooms face out to the back and have a great view of the lower city, in what I think is a north direction. The rooms are clean and comfortable, air-conditioned, there is also free wifi. Non-smoking rooms are available. Breakfast, available for a nominal fees, is delicious and can be eaten out on a lovely, scenic terrace. There is also free parking available on the street and if you are lucky, right out in front of the lobby. We can easily recommend staying at the Hotel Medina de Toledo and if we are back in the area, will do so again. PS. We would like to pass along the recommendation of El Trebol Tapas Bar as a good place to eat. Also, don't forget to buy some Marzipan, as Toledo is well known for this treat.

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Altstadt von Toledo, die sich besser zum Autofahren eignet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen ausgewiesenen Parkplatz und es ist besser zu parken. Es dauert ungefähr zehn oder zwanzig Minuten, um vom Hotel in die Altstadt von Toledo zu gehen. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich groß, es scheint, dass das Wasser im Badezimmer nicht gut ist.

Da meine Frau in einem privaten Raum im 2. Stock gestohlen wurde und mit einem Kellner, der den Zugang zum Buffet kontrollierte, der Dieb oder Diebstahl ging zum Empfangsraum, ging zum Buffetraum, sprach mit dem Kellner q, der den Zugang kontrollierte. (Weil ich es sah und ich bestätige es) und dennoch weiß ich nicht, warum sie ihn im Saal verlassen (und mich fragten, ob ich über das Zimmer gehen soll) und in einem Schlag haben sie uns die Tasche gestohlen. Ich glaube, man sollte viel sorgfältiger mit dem Zugang sein, wir werden sehen, wie das endet. Zwischen den 3000 € Q aus der Karte und den über 1000 € Verluste pro Bargeld, Mobiltelefon, Brille, Autoschlüssel usw., der Aufenthalt hat mich für einen Spitzenpunkt geholt. Ihr seid nichts vernachlässigt. Im Prinzip lehnt das Hotel jede Haftung ab und sagt mir, dass sie keine Versicherung haben, um für die Überfallhaftung zu verantworten, wir werden sehen, ob die Gesundheitsberatung in dieser Angelegenheit miteinander zu befassen.

Dieses Hotel liegt in den Außenbereichen von Toledo – Sie brauchen ein Auto, um ins Zentrum zu kommen (Ich habe gelesen, es gibt auch ein Shuttle, aber das wurde uns nicht erwähnt, wir haben auch keine Informationen darüber gesehen). Das Hotel sah leer aus, der Parkplatz war sehr leer, das Bar-/Restaurant-Gebiet war sehr leer,... Einchecken war reibungslos, und das Zimmer war sehr schön: es war groß, sauber, mit einem guten Bett und sehr schönes Badezimmer. Wir wollten etwas essen, aber das war nur möglich in der Bar-Zone, eine, die sehr stilvoll mit einem Farbglas-Oberfläche scheint. Das Menü ist sehr begrenzt, aber das Essen war gut, Preis vernünftig. Frühstück war sehr nett, viele Dinge zu wählen, mit viel Aufmerksamkeit auf Covid (Maske erforderlich, Sie haben Ihre eigene ‘Gerät’, um das Essen zu fangen, und sie überwachen das auch sehr genau. Würde ich diesen Ort empfehlen? Wenn Sie ein großes Zimmer mögen und nicht umgeben Sie sich nicht in Fußgängerabstand von der Stadt: sicher!

We stayed on a trip from Madrid to Toledo whilst heading to Alicante. Located about 15 minutes outside Toledo at the side of a golf course. We regretted the decision pretty much on arrival. The building is large and well appointed and overlooks the golf course. Sadly it would appear that there were no other guests, failing that they were hiding in the large disused building next door! Reception staff were helpful and friendly, the room was large and well appointed but just felt like it hadn’t been used recently. The fridge unit still carried letters saying that it wasn’t filled due to Covid , as it was full but with no prices we assumed that this was a holdover to the previous pandemic. Or perhaps getting organised for the next one. Despite a full fridge there was no milk or milk powder for drinks, or a price list to indicate the basis they’d been supplied on. We decided to take down the sealed extra duvet as it was cold , only to find large pieces of red stain - blood make up we weren’t sure. Really off putting The bar was closed when we arrived at about 5 in the afternoon and may as well have been when we arrived back about ten 30 pm All in all we were genuinely dissapointed and couldn’t reccomend any one staying here . Perhaps with more guests it might have been better but we won’t be back
