Hotels mit Pools in Toledo

Ein Parador, wie er klassicher nicht sein könnte. Altes Gemäuer, gediegene Einrichtung aus Vollholz. Die Highlights dieses Paradores sind meiner Meinung nach die Aussicht auf die Stadt (am besten Abends von der Restaurantterrasse zu genießen) sowie das Restaurant. Die rustikal eingerichteten Zimmer verströmen Wohlfühlcharakter, sie sind komforabel, aber nicht luxuriös. Das Hotel verfügt auch über einen schönen Aussenpool. Das Manko dieses Pool ist der schlechte Service dort (am besten man nimmt sich selbst Verpflegung dorthin mit). Die Schattenseite der grandiosen Aussicht ist die relativ weite Entfernung ins historische Zentrum, das man fußläufig so gut wie nicht erreichen kann. Resumé: ein schönes, gediegenes Haus, in dem man gerne ein paar Tage verbringt und Aussicht sowie kulinarische Freuden genießt. Was zu einem Top-Hotel fehlt ist der Service.

Ein Haus , das sich unzweifelhaft architektonisch auf dem 5-Sterne-Niveau präsentiert: Luxuriöse Materialien, eine phantastische Glas- Malerei -Kuppel, ein prunkvolles Zimmer, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, gutes Frühstück (mit Corona-Einschränkungen), Pool sauber, schön angelegter Garten. Auch die in anderen Bewertungen beschriebene ”Autobahn” ist nur eine zweispurige Straße, die je nach Zimmerlage nicht störend ist. Also eigentlich...., aber irgendetwas stimmt nicht: das Restaurant geschlossen, Wiedereröffnung unklar, Außenbereiche ohne Personal, Spa verweist, Poolhandtücher an der Rezeption, Nachlässigkeiten in der Reinigung der Flure, wenig Gäste. Der Zimmerpreis ist zu früher deutlich reduziert, insofern geht der Aufenthalt völlig in Ordnung. Aber man bekommt das Gefühl nicht weg, dass über die Zukunft des Hotels noch nicht entschieden ist. Lage ist zur Innenstadt nicht optimal, man braucht ein Auto, um in die Altstadt zu kommen. Derr Shuttle ist auch z.Zt. eingestellt, siehe oben.

On the positive side, the rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms - could do with an update, but bigger than average; Housekeeping was efficient. However, with almost 300 rooms,be aware that this hotel caters for tourist parties/conferences/events with all that that implies i.e. 2 sittings for breakfast. There was a huge choice for the buffet breakfast, but not a place for a romantic breakfast, or indeed dinner, as the noise level in the cafeteria is very loud; I hesitate to call it a restaurent as there is another in the complex which we didn't try. The hotel is also about 2kms from the historical centre of Toledo, which could be one of the reasons for your visit. Apparently it is possible to walk there (uphill after a flat approach, and in the heat?), but it is difficult to navigate and the receptionists weren't able to be much help. As a consequence in order to visit you need to take a taxi (approximately 10 euros each way) which adds to the cost. And if you don't wish to eat at the hotel you also need to book a taxi. In this respect, the receptionists were very helpful. If your reason for visiting Toledo is for a conference, then this could be for you, otherwise as a simple tourist, I would look elsewhere in town.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, das Zimmer ist nicht groß, der Parkplatz befindet sich auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz am Eingang, der Service an der Rezeption ist in Ordnung und es wird eine Notiz geschrieben, in der die Parkdauer 10-14 und 17-20 erläutert wird. ) Und Freizeit (Wochenenden), keine Veränderung. Das Hotel kann nicht früh einchecken und muss bis 15:00 Uhr warten. Europäisches Zimmer im alten Stil mit wunderschönem Garten und gutem Frühstück. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar.

We had booked two nights at the hotel but really considered checking out after the first nigh as a car is required to visit the city and the restaurant was closed. I showed the receptionist their web page and it said that the restaurant was open. A few hours later we were told that a meal would be coked for us and could we choose what we wanted. It appeared that one chef was ill and the other chef came in and cooked just for us, this was a piece of great customer service which we appreciated. I believe that due to covid the hotel was not getting many guests and therefore revenue was down, this also showed in the garden not been kept tidy, although the pool was in good repair. The room required a little tender loving but had a fridge and AC but no safe. The public areas in the hotel were clean and tidy. The panoramic view of the city was spectacular. I feel for the hotel owners as with reduced revenue they did not have enough money to spend on the outside areas, but I think that as the number of guest increase the hotel will shine once again.

I wouldn't consider this a 5 star hotel, the views and surroundings are great, but that's about it. The hotel needs a proper renovation, the furniture is outdated and with clear marks of usage, musty and dust covering a lot of areas. The entire place gives a 70s vibe, and not in the good way. The worse bit for me is how poorly sound proofed the rooms are. The corridors' floors are tiled but there's a wide gap between tiles, so when people walk around carrying luggage, it sounds like a freight train just passing outside the room. Not great when that happens early in the morning. The breakfast and restaurant are ok, and most of the staff are nice.

Cuando llegamos, la habitación estaba preparada. En la recepción fueron muy amables ofreciendonos desayuno para el día siguiente, y, qué decir de la habitación, estaba genial, tenía mucho espacio y el colchón muy cómodo. No cogimos el parking del hotel pero justo delante del hotel hay muchos sitios para aparcar y no tuvimos dificultad para encontrarlo. Todo un acierto, sin duda volveremos!

Fanatics location for visiting Toledo up in the hills with amazing views and very clean. Terrace you can take your own drinks or food onto plus communal area with microwave. Nice plunge pool with great views. Bust stop right outside takes you right into centre of Toledo takes about 10 mins with great views, bus's are very regular and on time and return you right back outside the hotel. Some free parking onsite on the front but not many although we did get parked on it. Or you can park opposite by the bus stop. Which looks secure due to being up in the hills away from other hotels etc and always seemed to have space. I would have no problem parking our hire car there.

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der antiken Stadt Toledo und das Parken ist kostenlos, was gut für selbstfahrende Touristen ist. Das Hotel ist nicht weit von der San-Martin-Brücke entfernt und die Fahrt dauert etwa 15 Minuten; wenn Sie Zeit haben, können Sie Ihr Auto am Hotel parken und über die San-Martin-Brücke laufen, um in die antike Stadt zu gelangen (diese Brücke kann nur Fußgänger). Wenn Sie in die Stadt fahren, werden Sie eine Menge Umwege haben. Es kann als Fuß länger dauern. Das Hotel bietet Frühstück (im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen) Obwohl es nicht viel Auswahl gibt, ist es nicht schlecht. Das Hotel hat eine gute Umgebung mit einem eigenen kleinen Hof, die Zimmer sind nicht groß, aber sehr gemütlich.

Good: The hotel room was large ,nice smelling with free beer. We enjoyed the pools and the women who checked us in were kind and pleasant The Bad: constant miss communication regarding booking a massage and expectations. Despite emails back and forth there still was no clarity and a clear understanding. We stayed here for the massage and culture experience but it turned into a nightmare and our the only worse place and extremely stressful negative experience we had in Spain Trip as they seem to have become too greedy as the now offer massages in a small room packed with beds and no dividers. When booking the massage the had an old website that showed a two person room. The night time manager told us we would have our full massage time in the two person room which was a lie as the woman stopped in less than 5 minutes and said she was done. We were given our money back but it ruined our whole experience and instead of calmly us it caused us more stress. It didn’t matter that we were hotel guests as they just wanted to fool people in and out and the 5 minute experience was fluff as they only rubbed oil on your body and it wasn’t even a massage. The Ugly: we did not want to leave this review and offered to sort things out with the hotel night manager, however his attitude was that it doesn’t matter and said go ahead because people will always come to this hotel. He seemed arrogant and unapologetic and had no intentions of making any amends for our horrible experience. The morning breakfast was disgusting cased diarrhea which sums up the overall mood.
