Der Blick auf den Sydney Harbour war unschlagbar. Da viele Leute da waren, war der Service etwas langsam. Beim Check-out hielt der Aufzug auf jeder Etage, und in der Lobby war es laut und überfüllt.

Der Aufenthalt in der Sydney Harbour Executive King Suite war einfach perfekt! Vom Bett aus hatte man direkten Blick auf das Sydney Opera House und die Harbour Bridge und konnte eine unschlagbare Aussicht auf den Hafen genießen, die bei Sonnenauf- und -untergang besonders spektakulär war. Der Innenpool, die Sauna und der Spa-Bereich des Hotels waren hervorragend ausgestattet und ein großartiger Ort zum Entspannen. Das Personal war herzlich und aufmerksam, vom Check-in bis zum Check-out lief alles reibungslos. Das Frühstück war vielfältig, von westlichen bis zu asiatischen Gerichten, und man konnte es mit Blick auf den Hafen genießen, was das Erlebnis noch besonderer machte. Auch die Lage war unschlagbar, da Circular Quay und The Rocks nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt waren – eine ideale Wahl für eine Besichtigungstour durch Sydney.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Großartiges Restaurant und Bar mit grandioser Aussicht auf Oper und Harbour Bridge. Lediglich der Frühstücksbereich sollte etwas größer sein, um Warteschlangen zu vermeiden. Wie auch immer, wir gingen Fmfrühstücken und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic stay with an amazing Opera House view! We absolutely loved our stay at the Shangri-La Sydney. The location is fantastic and made it so easy to explore Sydney on foot. Circular Quay and the ferries are only about a 10-minute walk away, the Opera House around 15 minutes, and the main shopping area about 20 minutes. There are also plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby. We had booked a room with an Opera House view and were delighted to be upgraded to an Executive Opera House View room. The view from our room on the 14th floor was absolutely incredible — looking out over Sydney Harbour and the Opera House was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We arrived after a long flight and were able to check in early, which was fantastic and very much appreciated. It gave us the chance to settle in and relax before heading out to explore Sydney. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay — genuinely friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Great location, beautiful hotel, excellent service and an unforgettable view. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Sydney and would happily stay here again!

I stayed here with my senior citizen mom. The room was huge, clean, and very comfortable. The facilities were also great—the breakfast had a good selection, the gym was nice, and theres a swimming pool and jacuzzi. The in-house food was delicious too. The only disappointment was the view. 😅 We were expecting something similar to the photos, but unfortunately, that wasn't what we got. I asked at reception if we could change rooms, but we were told we'd need to pay extra for a higher floor or a room upgrade, even as a Shangri-La Circle member. Overall, we still had a good stay because of the excellent facilities and service. I just hope the hotel uses actual photos for each room or floor category so guests know what view they're booking. 😅 If I were comparing this hotel with InterContinental Sydney, I'd choose InterContinental. 😉

I like this very much. I will book again for sure. It is very cheap and useful and convenient to use all the time.

The views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House were absolutely breathtaking. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and everything was spotless and well maintained. My family and I had a truly wonderful and memorable stay.

Amazing stay! The view was absolutely beautiful, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future.

We requested higher-level rooms but were given Level 5. That was fine, but unfortunately the milk provided in our room was spoiled. The management was very disappointing. One staff member told us something was possible, but immediately after we checked out, another staff member said it wasn’t. There was no consistency or clear communication at all. There was no welcome drink or any form of hospitality just spoiled milk in the room, which honestly says a lot…After 9pm, there was literally nothing to do, just a ghost hotel. The original price of the room is $370, but for this price a night, we definitely did not receive service that matched the price. It is honestly a one-star Temu version of a Shangri-La. We found out we could have used that $370 to rent an entire house on Airbnb instead of staying at what is supposed to be a five-star hotel. Check airbnb website, you will find better stay with the money you pay for this hotel. This is an old, cramped hotel that feels like it’s scamming people under the label of a so-called five-star experience.
