Das Hotel in Tanzang ist gestern Abend die erste Wahl, weil es nicht weit vom Flughafen entfernt ist, nicht weit von der Stadt entfernt ist. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr groß und der Pool ist auch vorhanden.

I spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.

We stayed at Aura suites for 1 month with my family and we had the best experience. The staff was extremely friendly, rooms were kept very clean daily room service. Overall, we had a great time - I highly recommend anyone visiting Dar es salaam to stay at Aura. The location is very good (close to central town and a supermarket next door) and very safe when visiting with family.

Ich war in einem nicht rauchenden Zimmer und konnte Rauchen aus anderen Zimmern stinken. Ich habe die Rezeption gebeten, mein Zimmer zu ändern, was sie getan haben.

Wegen des späten Flugzeugs ist die Stadt der Ankunft über Nacht, verwirrt, ins Hotel gekommen, es gibt keinen fantastischen Luxus, aber auch keine Elegance. Die Plattform hat eine Doppelbettschätzung, die das Hotel voll ist. Es gibt große Betten + kleine Betten lol, obwohl einige Brüder nicht sehr seltsam sind, haha ～ Die Behandlung des Aufenthalts dauert etwas länger. Das Zimmer ist sauber, Wasser und Buffet sollten alle sein. Da die Nachtsitzungen bis zum Morgen des Morgens stattfinden, ist es weniger als drei Stunden, um aufzustehen, und das Frühstück ist immer noch gut, um den Müdigkeitszustand zu trösten, ist es auch eine Entschädigung. Der Aufenthalt im Hyatt Regency Daressalam - The Kilimanjaro war hervorragend - absolut empfehlenswert. Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr großzügig, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, der Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist sehr reichhaltig und auch sonst verfügt das Hotel über diverse Einrichtungen zum Mittagessen und Abendessen. Für einen Städtetrip ist die Lage von dem Hotel bestens geeignet; der Hafen mit der Fähre nach Zanzibar sowie das Nationalmuseum sind in kurzer Zeit zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch die Stadtmitte ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Trotzdem ist das Hotel sehr ruhig. Erwähnenswert ist auf alle Fälle noch die Roof Top Bar im obersten Stockwerk mit einem grandiosen Ausblick über den Hafen. The hotel is overall very spacious, the rooms are very clean, the pool area is very well maintained and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is very rich and also otherwise the hotel has various facilities for lunch and dinner. For a city trip, the location of the hotel is ideal; the port with the ferry to Zanzibar and the National Museum are within walking distance. The city center is also only a few minutes away. Nevertheless, the hotel is very quiet. Worth mentioning is definitely the Roof Top Bar on the top floor with a magnificent view over the harbor.
