very friendly staff day and night, they know what you might desire before your thoughts are spoken. And the breakfast is quite delicious and the best starter before getting into the vibrant city life. I'll always come back to that place when going to TelAviv.

Very friendly and pleasant place to stay at. We stayed on the third floor with no balcony, but there is a rooftop terrace on the third floor to have a quiet coffee under an umbrella for shade. Breakfast is very big and is brought to your table personally as you sit down in the lobby. Coffee in the lobby free of charge 24/7 as well as some small snacks. You can also buy a bottle of Israeli beer there after a long day of walking and drink it at the tables outside, before going out for dinner. Getting a taxi in Tel Aviv (using the app) is not very reliable - can take a long time to get one and it may cancel on you so you have to start again. We booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the airport and it arrived exactly when was requested, removing a lot of stress about the flight early in the morning. There are no elevators but the lady who showed us to our room offered to carry the suitcase! You also have Netflix and youtube on the TV for that first day after the flight when you need to lay down and relax before enjoying your holiday. The location is great because it is a nice area, it is close to the Frishman beach, you can walk by the breezy street next to the beach to get to Jaffa on foot without getting too hot - or take the bikes from the hotel and head to Jaffa in 15mins - and the trendy areas like Florentine, as well as the Carmel market are in walking distance. Nearby you have plenty of places to go eat and drink or just walk around in the evenings - Dizengoff street and many bars, cafes and restaurants around. I would stay there again!

This hotel is not a four start property in my opinion. Location I’ll give 5 stars but the rest 3 stars at best! Firstly, no elevator in building we were in third floor this was annoying as TLV is hot and coming home and still needing to walk up 3 flights.. I don’t believe this fact is widely advertised. Secondly, our “ sea view” room didn’t have much of a view at all. Blocked by large construction and the super tall Sheraton ( and dirty windows). Other issues we experienced include: 1) construction noise all night from building across the street.. bring ear plugs!! 2) Aircon only in rooms the passages and stairs don’t have Aircon and hot and stuffy and have bad smell 3) Bath first 2 nights plug didn’t seal despite us requesting maintenance.. finally sorted but then you realize the bath is actually too short and uncomfortable ( and I’m not v tall). The shower in the bath is not great and water still goes all over. My two cents os get rid of useless bath and have shower only. 4) reception staff all pretty useless aside from blonde chap with curly hair. They make you leave the key at recep and the blonde women never knows/ remembers you despite giving you key numerous times. Brown hair Russian guy doesn’t really speak English or Hebrew well and all communications with him a disaster.. 5) no phones in room to call recep so have o To either walk down three flights or use the WhatsApp line that is often not very usefull 6) bathroom no privacy at all I think better options avail

We'd booked a sea view room, although when we arrived late at night I could see that the property isn't quite on the beach and is one road back so I was a little puzzled what kind of view it would be. At check in we were told we had an upgrade to a terrace room with jacuzzi. Perhaps they realised it was my birthday the next day, it was a nice surprise. We enjoyed the jacuzzi every night in our secluded terrace, it was just about warm enough to use! There is also a walk in shower and some nice toiletries. The room was very well appointed, with marble and gold fixtures with the bed on an elevated floor. Breakfast was excellent and was an assorted plate of home made relishes, dips, salad, eggs and various breads. You could also help your self to cakes and patisserie from the counter. Our final day's breakfast was from a sister property up the road which was a buffet There are bikes to hire from the front desk although Tel Aviv is a walkable city for the main sights and the beach is a short walk away. there are also restaurants, bars and convenience stores nearby. Only issue was that there was not too much natural light in the room, the back terrace had some leaf litter and could have been a little cleaner and our room door was on the street level behind a wooden door to the front terrace and we would have preferred the added security of being in the main building. Overall though we had a memorable stay and it's a really pleasant boutique hotel which pays great attention to details with amazing and helpful staff.

Really good location close to the beach, excellent breakfast and hospitality at it's finest. Was recommended to us and we will surely recommend to others. Thanks for making our stay easy and enjoyable!

Had a great experience staying at Villa Brown Hotel in Tel Aviv. The staff was super friendly and the manager very helpfull. We were welcomed with Lambrusco in the middle night, and felt at home right away. There was always time for coffee and cookies while getting advice on things to do. The breakfast was excellent. We were being treated as true guests, the way you would like to be treated as visitors from abroad. We will come back for sure!
