I recently spent my New Year's celebration at the Marriott Surabaya, and let me tell you, the first impression was like discovering a ”classic vinyl record”—a bit outdated yet full of charm! The decor leans towards the older side, but I was prepared for this vibe thanks to various reviews I had read. After settling in, I grew to love the cozy atmosphere—like wrapping myself in a warm blanket. The room was surprisingly spacious, offering more space than many newer hotels, making it feel like my own little oasis! The bathroom was also gleaming and roomy enough for an impromptu dance party, should the mood strike! Now, let’s dive into the breakfast experience at Pavilion. The cage-like design of the venue adds a unique touch, inviting plenty of sunlight—perfect for brightening up your morning. The buffet offered a wide array of dishes to satisfy international travelers' palates, making each breakfast an exciting adventure. The selection of Indonesian cuisines and desserts was particularly impressive. But what truly set Pavilion apart was the staff. They were superb and went above and beyond, taking the time to cater to us personally. They even recommended and brought out some local dishes—insider choices that added an authentic touch to our dining experience. In my past hotel breakfasts, the staff often just fulfilled their duties, but here, it felt more like breakfast with friends. That warmth and attentiveness made all the difference! And don’t miss out on the local flavors of ice cream! I can’t name the flavors since they’re all in local dialects, but they were heavenly and a fun challenge to try! For lunch and dinner, I found myself opting for room service several times because resisting their tempting menu was like ignoring a catchy tune stuck in your head. Each meal surpassed my expectations—purely irresistible! Another delightful surprise was the complimentary laundry service offered daily, which saved me after my waterfall adventure left me looking like a mud monster. And post-overnight trip to Bromo? I was practically a walking dust bunny! As I like to say, ”It's the little things that count,” and this thoughtful touch truly made a difference. Lastly, the hotel's location is fantastic! Just a short stroll away lies the biggest shopping mall—truly a haven for foodies and shoppers alike. Overall, my stay at the Marriott Surabaya was delightful, and I left with wonderful memories—definitely a place I’d recommend for a cozy yet vibrant experience!

Convenient location with shopping mall, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast very much. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Es war ein gutes Preis für ein Exekutivsuite Zimmer! Es gab eine Badezimmer, großes Zimmer & Bett, Sofa, Desk, Kühlschrank, alles für rund IDR 600K für eine Nacht. Die Beleuchtung war so hell (wie ich mag) weil es 2 Fenster hatte und Sie konnten den schönen Sonnenuntergang in der Westseite sehen! Bett war komfortable und Kissen riecht überhaupt nicht. AC und Kühlschrank war genug. Aber die Ausstattung war zu standardisiert, wir haben nicht einmal eine Duschekappe oder Handsap beim Tauchen bekommen. Sie haben nur eine für alle ”Saft-Schampoon-Konditionierer” in der Dusche, die für die Umwelt schön war, und Baumwollschuhe angeboten. Das Frühstück war so standard und sie bezahlten meinen Sohn (dies ist das erste Mal in jedem anderen Hotel). Glücklicherweise war es für eine kleine Menge Geld. Insgesamt war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, weil mein Sohn und Mann lieben, im Bad zu baden (wir haben keine in unserem Haus). Oh und der intelligente TV bietet Ihnen Tube und Prima-Videos. Perfekt für ein Wochenende-Getaway!

Das Zimmer ist sauber, das Frühstück ist nicht gut für die chinesische Würste, und es gibt viele chinesische Restaurants in der Nähe.

Die Klimaanlage in meinem Zimmer ist super heiß! Ich denke, in diesem Hotel muss die gesamte Klimaanlage in allen Zimmern überprüft werden, damit die Wartung durchgeführt werden kann. So schlimm, wenn man schläft und die Klimaanlage schlecht ist!

Walaupun hotel lama tetapi kebersihan hotel ini sangat terjaga, kamar mandinya sendiri sudah direnovasi sehingga tidak ada kesan angker besok-besok menginap disini kalo ke surabaya
