Hotel mit hervorragenden Einrichtungen. Der perfekte Ort, um die gute Zeit von Algarve zu genießen. Nahe einem fantastischen Strand. Das Paket von Choli war von Unterkünften und Frühstück. Der einzige Schwachpunkt war sogar die Qualität der Produkte im Frühstück. Die Saft sind sehr wenig Qualität, fast nicht vorhandene Mini-Küchen und viele schlechte Waffeln. Das Gleiche geschieht beim Abendessen. Wir haben beschlossen, im Hotel zu essen und das Buffet ist sehr schlecht und unqualitativ. Ich weiß nicht, ob es mit all-Paketen zusammenhängt, auch die meisten Gäste haben, aber ich denke, es ist ein Punkt, der für die Kundenzufriedenheit zu verbessern. Wir lieben es gleich, aber wenn ich zurückkomme, werde ich das Essen aus dem Hotel machen.

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Wir hatten ein großes Appartement mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern. Die Küche war mit großem Kühlschrank, Herd, Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler und Mikrowelle ausgestattet. Alle Geräte neuwertig. Selbstversorgung wäre sehr gut möglich gewesen. Das Buffet war reichhaltig und gut. Der kostenlose Bootstransfer zum Strand ist sehr praktisch.

This is generally well-managed, but could be so much better with a few improvements. We stayed for 10 nights in a 2-bedroom villa. The villa was generally clean, though quite dated. The reception staff were very friendly and very willing to help with any problems, except that there shouldn't have been problems! There was one restaurant / bar staff, who never smiled and and was always grumpy The bathroom smelled of sewage most of the time, which was very unpleasant. The beds weren't great, and were so short my feet hung over the end (I'm not very tall). While the rooms and bathroom were cleaned 5 days a week, I don't think they changed the bed linen. The internet is only available by renting a Wifi router from reception (€1/day), but they don't have many -- we asked for one when we made the initial booking and we got the last one. But the internet was pretty slow, I was often switching it off and using my phone. Clientele is very international, with most guests (I think) Portuguese - there were Germans, French and Dutch and Irish, and a few Brits. The pool is nice, but in the afternoons, and especially at weekends it got very crowded, with lots of non-guests driving up with their cars. The hotel sometimes checked our guest cards to make sure we were guests, but not very often, and it seems the wider town took advantage of that -- I told the reception we didn't appreciate our hotel being used as a municipal pool. The sun umbrellas can't be moved, and are pretty small, so lots of people moved the chairs to be under the shade of the trees. Breakfast was fine, but only open 8:30-10:30, so if you have an excursion with an early pickup, you will miss out. The evening buffet was also fine, though the restaurant was devoid of atmosphere, and sometimes had weird music (like a loud DJ playing house music at 8:00PM when it was mostly families!) The local Cabanas town is very nice with some nice restaurants, and there was a Fisherman festival on at the time. The beach was easy to get to with the dedicated boat service, and is a great beach, but only one bathroom, which isn't very much for such a well-used beach. The beach restaurant fills up fast (I couldn't get food there), and the beach chair rental is expensive (€23 for 2 chairs and a parasol), but if you bring your own sandwiches, it's fine. Tavira town was a €9 Uber ride away, and also very pretty, with lots of evening music festivals on. If the hotel refurbished the rooms to a more modern standard with better beds, fixed the sewage issues, put bigger sun umbrellas round the pool, had better security to restrict the pool for guests only, and put proper Wifi in, this would be a lovely place, but unfortunately, this fell a bit short of that.

Nachdem wir die ersten 1-2 Nächte etwas Anlaufschwierigkeiten hatten (Zimmer etwas hellhörig bei sehr aktiven Nachbarn...;-)) haben wir uns wirklich unglaublich wohl gefühlt und hatten einen fabelhaften Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist nicht zu groß, so dass alles im Hotel sehr übersichtlich und schnell zu erreichen ist. Der Poolbereich ist wirklich sehr schön. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Es gibt natürlich entsprechende Hygienemaßnahmen, die aber nicht weiter stören, außer dass sehr viel Müll anfällt. Das a la Carte Restaurant bietet sowohl für Hotelgäste täglich ein individuelles 3 Gänge Menu (+ Brot und Gruß aus der Küche) für unschlagbare 20 Euro an, sowie raffinierte, teils gehobene à la Carte Speisen an. Live-Musik vielleicht etwas störend, wenn man in Ruhe essen will. Wenn man nur auf einem Drink im Restaurant ist, passt das perfekt:-) Wellnessbereich derzeit pandemiebedingt noch geschlossen. Das Hotel ist ”adult only”, was wir als wirklich sehr angenehm empfanden, da es einfach deutlich leiser in allen Bereichen ist Wir würden das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Parkplatzsituation. Die Parkplätze am Hotel sind meistens belegt. Tiefgarage gegen Gebühr von 5 Euro täglich. Man findet aber dafür problemlos Parkplätze an der Straße

Another secret I’d like to keep to myself but my first visit to this oasis of luxury has to be complemented. The resort is beautifully presented with incredibly friendly helpful staff, It felt like I had the place to myself. The golf suites along the edge of the course are 6 star. I stayed in 822 and if you want a spectacular view this one is great. My three nights included two rounds of golf and use of the practice facility which was incredible value for money. The course is a Jack Nicklaus master piece with a wonderful selection of varied holes and a handful of spectacular par 3’s The course has suffered terribly from the drought in past years and there are one or two dry spots. However it looks like it’s on the mend and certainly didn’t affect my enjoyment. I will say there are multiple tees on each hole and my tip is to play from the one that suits your handicap. Neil is the head golf professional and did wonders for my aging game with just two hours coaching, he will advise you which tees will enhance your enjoyment. I really can’t say enough about this place and I’ll be heading back soon with my wife.

If you're looking for a great place to chill Herdade da Corte is where you need to go. A Rio Grande style and feel about it, surrounded by fabulous hilly views, orange, lemon trees, olive groves, and pure adulterated silence. You hear the whisper of the breeze throughout the outdoor areas which have casual seating dotted about, a sweeping view, and a to die for salt-water pool. If you want 5 star service and a butler this isn't the place for you! Our favourite time of the day was a leisurely hour and half munching our way through the buffet breakfast, consisting of 4 different freshly made juices, a good selection of local produce, bread, rolls, pastries and cake, cheese, cold meats, fruits, yoghurt, and natural cereals - while idly looking out to the hills. There's also an array of teas, and the coffee is via a machine which is good - but goat's milk! We've travelled the world extensively and it's rare to find such a place. If you want to jazz up your time there Tavira is charming, along with Tavira Island. You do need a car if you stay at Herdade and want to visit many areas, however, we had read other reviews and knew that - but we just wanted to relax there and do nothing! We stayed 4 days and did venture out 1 afternoon to a restaurant in St Luzia. Local taxi, very nice driver. 20 euro each way (same prices to Tavira) about 15 minutes journey. The owners Joao and Francisco are cool, interesting guys, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the area , local produce, wines, and activities to do there - hiking, etc. Good massage also available in relaxing room. €50 Personally speaking, we dossed (an English word for lazing about) around the pool , helping ourselves to the well-stocked honesty bar, with the occasional beer/glass of wine, absorbed in a few good crime novels. Please note: after breakfast there is NO food available until 7pm. We knew that and brought along our own snacks, nuts etc. The evening menu is mainly cold, very good local produce - oh, please try the prawns (they hot). We tried almost everything on the menu during our stay - couldn't fault anything. My husband arrived completely knackered (another old-school word for tiredness) and after almost 4 days rooted to the place said he felt like the Six Million Dollar Man! Im Hotel wohnten wir, als wir die Familie lokal besuchten, wurden wir spät am Abend von Miguel begrüßt, der uns einen kalten Drink und eine Option für etwas zu essen Unser Zimmer war geräumig und hatte eine private Terrasse in der Nähe des Pools Klimaanlage arbeitete groß und Dusche sehr leistungsfähig - Sie können für keine Hausaufbewahrung täglich und in der Gegenleistung erhalten Sie Getränke-Gutscheine, eine große Idee und reduziert die Abfall- und Reinigungszeit Sophia im Frühstücksrestaurant war schön immer glücklich und in der Lage, Getränke für uns zu machen wir gefragt haben Frühstückswahl war schön, aber ein wenig begrenzt, aber übliche Obstjoghurt und Brot mit der Wahl der Eier Wir haben nicht essen gegessen, als wir essen, aber genossen gebrächte Sandwiches durch den Pool ist erhitzt, aber kühl zuerst aber sehr erfrischend Ich musste arbeiten, während Das Hotel und das WiFi waren ausgezeichnete Echt ruhig und genießbaren Aufenthalt

Esta ultima ha sido mi tercera vez en el hotel y sin duda la más decepcionante. Hemos ocupado dos habitaciones durante tres dias. Seis noches en total. El motivo de mi disgusto es que solo se nos ha arreglado la habitación en tres ocasiones de las seis contratadas. Nuestros horarios han sido dejar las habitaciones a las diez de la mañana, regresar a las tres y volver a salir a las seis de la tarde. En mi opinión tiempo mas que de sobra para tener las habitaciones listas. Lo comunicamos en recepción y la respuesta fue que había que esperar a las siete de la tarde que es la hora límite de la limpieza. Añadir también que una tarde sin avisar entraron en la habitación de mis hijos con ellos dentro y a nosotros nos despertaron llamando a la puerta. Como refiero es la tercera vez que nos alojábamos en el hotel y hasta ahora muy bien, pero esta vez no ha sido así. Pagamos muchísimo dinero en un hotel de cuatro estrellas para pasar tres dias, puedo entender que el hotel esté lleno, pero si hace falta más personal se le debe contratar.

Das Hotel ist optisch sehr schön und in der Nähe vom Strand - allerdings voller Jugendlicher. Was uns im ersten Moment nicht störte doch bereits nach dem einchecken informieren wie die Rezeption, da im Zimmer nebenan stundenlang rumgeschrieen wurde. Nachdem wir abends vom Abendessen heimkamen waren die Jugendlichen noch immer sehr laut - mein Ehemann klopfte mehrmals und bat um Ruhe. Gegen zwei Uhr nachts sind die Jugendlichen unter vermutlich Drogen und oder Alkohol Konsum mehrfach gegen unsere Zimmer Türe gesprungen - auch über den Balkon versuchten sie in unser Zimmer zu gelangen. Wir haben mehrfach an der Rezeption angerufen und baten um Hilfe oder die Polizei zu rufen. Mittlerweile wurden es immer mehr Jugendliche und als mein Mann das letzte mal die Türe öffnete gingen sie auf ihn los. Bis ein hotel Mitarbeiter kam hatte mein Mann bereits eine offene Lippe sowie eine Platzwunde am Kopf. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel hatten die Situation nicht unter Kontrolle - anstelle die Polizei zu rufen (ich hatte auch alles gefilmt) und die Jugendlichen aus dem Hotel zu schmeißen, damit alle anderen Gäste in Ruhe schlafen können haben wir nur einen Eimer mit Eis bekommen. Wir mussten dann um 3 Uhr nachts das Hotel Zimmer wechseln um weitere Konflikte zu vermeiden - das Frühstücks Buffet am nächsten morgen durften wir ebenfalls erst besuchen, sobald die Gruppe abgereist ist. Der Hotel Manager hat nicht einmal mit uns gesprochen - eine Rückerstattung haben wir auch nicht erhalten. Das war wirklich das schlimmste Hotel in dem wir jemals waren! Für die Hotelgäste kann das Hotel nichts - allerdings für den Umhang der Situation schon. Wir würden daher nie wieder diesen Hotel buchen und werden nun auch die eigenständig Polizei einschalten.
