Dies ist der nächste Tag, an dem ich in diesem Hotel wohne. Ich sah, wie der Hotelmanager nach der Theorie der lokalen Menschen wieder die Polizei ruft. Ich kam um 23:00 Uhr an und es herrscht ein Taximonopol. Ehrlich gesagt wollte ich nur zum Hotel und nahm deshalb das offizielle Flughafentaxi (es gibt einen Stand vor dem Zoll sowie eine Wechselstube). Der Fahrer hatte ein wenig Schwierigkeiten, es zu finden, aber es ist tatsächlich ein paar hundert Meter von einer Hauptstraße entfernt. Nach meiner Reise durch China war ich erleichtert, als ich feststellte, dass die Leute im Hotel Englisch sprechen (danke, Haselbeck). Das Zimmer ist sauber und liegt direkt hinter der Rezeption, auf Straßenebene. Da die Fenster offen sind, fragte ich Haselbeck nach der Kriminalitätslage und er lachte und sagte, dass so etwas in Usbekistan nicht vorkommt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, mit Aufschnitt, Eiern, Müsli, Keksen, Kuchen, Tee, Kaffee und Blynis. Während des Frühstücks sprach ich mit einer Person aus Indien, die in Taschkent arbeitete, über seine Fortbewegungsmittel, da die Metro etwa 1600 m entfernt ist. Er lachte und sagte mir, ich solle Yandex Go verwenden und Taxis bestellen. Tolle Entdeckung! Sie sind wirklich günstig.

Es gibt zwei Gebäude in einem kleinen Innenhof, in denen Sie ruhig schlafen können. Das Frühstück ist eine Kombination aus chinesischem und westlichem Frühstück. Der kleine Innenhof verfügt über Grünflächen und einen Freizeitbereich zum Frühstücken und zum Abkühlen auf den Schaukeln. Viele chinesische Touristen genießen die kühle Luft im Innenhof. Der Standort liegt ganz in der Nähe von Majic City. Der Rückweg dauert etwa 20 Minuten. Das Wichtigste ist, dass der Chef Chinese ist. Nachdem er aus dem Flugzeug gestiegen war, schickte er einen Fahrer, der kostenlos Chinesisch spricht, um ihn am Bahnhof abzuholen. Es regnete stark und nachts fühlte ich mich sofort sicher und warm! Der Nachtblick auf die majestätische Stadt ist so schön und es gibt Springbrunnen mit Musik🎶. Schockierend und wunderschön, ich werde das nächste Mal hier übernachten, wenn ich meine Freunde mitbringe. So praktisch!

This was our first visit to Uzbekistan with an open mind on what we would end up doing in Tashkent. We took the safer bet by starting our country tour with the Marriott brand we know well. We were not disappointed! This is a well-run, spacious, clean hotel and was an ideal choice to begin with. Predictably, the décor is totally “Marriott!”, so lacks a Central Asian feel to it, but that is as the brand dictates. In the kitchen they make up for that with an excellent range of menu items that spans great local Uzbeki dishes and high-quality international cuisine. There is clearly a lot of pride in the kitchen shown by the attention given to good presentation. The breakfast buffet is good too. It would be good if the hotel made more effort to promote Uzbek wines at the Lobby Bar, rather than focus on the more expensive international ones. In the restaurant, there is only a limited choice of local wine compared to other places and no wine at all in the 8th Floor bar. These are all minor quibbles though. It is the attitude of the staff that makes this hotel work best. Everyone is keen to give a good professional impression in each of their roles. The reception and restaurant staff were without exception universally polite, efficient and friendly. We were ever so thankful to Shuhrat at the front desk who got us well-organised from the start with a local SIM card, dealing with money and making helpful suggestions on how to tackle Tashkent and then organise the rest of our stay not only in Tashkent buy beyond. He is soft-spoken and gracious and a good listener. He could read our preferences quickly. On our return, it was Shuhrat who organised a very good driver/guide to visit the mountains and encouraged us to take a dip to go to the beach on Lake Charvak and enjoy a dip there. A big thank you to everyone at the Tashkent Courtyard for helping to make this one of the best exploratory vacations we ever had.

The location is very easy to find. There are a few supermarkets just opposite the hotel. ATM machine just in front of hotel. The staffs were very helpful, the room was clean. We stayed for three nights, found that every morning the breakfast was the same, if they could change the menu would be much appreciated. Overall We enjoyed our stay. Thanks to all the friendly staffs that served us.

Frühstück ist mit einer reichen Auswahl an Käse, Fleisch- und Konfektionserzeugnissen, Früchten verschiedener Arten, 2 Arten von Schachteln und Gerichten aus der nationalen Küche. mehrere Arten von Kaffee und eine große Auswahl an Getränken und Tee. Das Hotel verfügt auch über Zimmer für Fotositzungen und ein romantisches Abendessen für geliebte Paare und für diejenigen, die sich an die Ehe anschließen möchten. Ich werde definitiv zurück zum Shaxjahon Hotel.

Europe Hotel in Tashkent was the best hotel of our 11 days trip to Uzbekistan. It is very posh, new, stylish and modern. They have a good spa area with swimming pool, Turkish bath for two, sauna etc. The breakfast is very good and fulfilling. Lots of options to choose from….. The service is very good and hotel personnel is very kind. Our special thanks to MAKHMUD from the reception, always very attentive and kind. We recommend very much this hotel in Tashkent.

Es ist weniger als 20 Minuten mit Taxi, die gesamte Hotelinfrastruktur ist modern, es gibt Restaurants und Spa-Zentren. Wenn ich wieder nach Tashkent komme, werde ich hier nochmal reservieren.

The staff were accommodating. The rooms were very clean. It was close to the airport which was easier after a long flight. The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was exquisite. It is definitely the best hotel that I have stayed in.

The Simma Hotel is a good choice, whether for business or personal visit, for people whose priority is to have great spa facilities, rather to be close to the center of town and the touristic sights. The drive into town averages around 20-25 minutes and of course the hotel can assist with calling a taxi, the reception staff is a great group of people, always trying to be helpful with smiles on their faces. Some of the rooms are very large with twin beds, others a bit smaller but generally all very comfortable in size. Most bathrooms have baths for long soaks at the end of the work day. The spa is divided into two identical halves for women and men. The breakfast is a hard-to-resist buffet offer of sweets but also some cold cuts, cheeses and freshly prepared omelettes. Dinner is also worth a try here as the food is rather delicious and often comes with some musical entertainment. I would consider returning for a large meeting where the location is secondary but would not choose this hotel when wanting to enjoy the sights of Tashkent as a tourist.
