4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Hotel trumpft absolut mit der Toplage, alles Wichtige ist zu Fuss super zu erreichen. Die Rezeption ist absolut professionell und freundlich. Frühstück kann für 20 Dollar pro Person spontan gebucht werden. Das Gym etwas klein und nicht alle Geräte im Betrieb :-( die Aufzüge stark frequentiert, aber war klar über die Silvester-Tage. Die York-Street eher laut.

This is an amended review to highlight the ongoing lack of communication from the hotel. It is fair to say that the hotel had some great things going for it but, sadly, customer support is not one of them. Breakfast was excellent and the roof top Aster bar was a great place to enjoy a cocktail and see some spectacular sunsets. However, the whole thing was let down by extremely lacklustre support from the management down. My wife lost her glasses in the hotel. They are prescription reading glasses in very distinct designer frames and were in a sparkly gold box. We asked at the desk during check out if they had been found and were told that they had not been handed in but that reception would check with the Aster bar, where we believe they had been left but was closed at the time of check out. We were due to be in Sydney again in 4 days and the receptionist took all the details and a description of the glasses and case and said that she would email me to give me an update. Sadly we didn’t hear back. Four days later when we returned to Sydney we checked back at the hotel there was no note against our booking and the duty receptionist said nothing could be done but was unable to confirm if a check had been made in the Aster rooftop bar. I asked to speak to the duty manager and an Irish lady, whose name I sadly didn’t get, came out to speak to me. She was very apologetic and said it was not the normal standard we should expect from the hotel and promised to speak to the Aster staff and that she would get back to me by email before the end of the day. Sadly, no further communication was forthcoming and a follow up email to the hotel remains unanswered. We realise that the loss was our fault but the lack of interest from the staff and unfulfilled, empty promises from the management would definitely deter us from staying there again. It would appear that the management have no interest in fostering customer satisfaction.

War 2 Nächte mit Frau und Sohn während des Osternbreaks. Sehr gut und gemütlich Hotel. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Schwimmbad war beschäftigt, wünschen Sie es größere. Frühstück war großartig. Preise waren vernünftig, perfekt für unseren Haushalt.

Wir mögen die Lage wirklich, es war direkt neben Darling Harbour. Wir haben ein warmes und freundliches Empfang von der internen Brent auf dem Frontdesk. Er war nett und erzählte uns alles, was wir umgeben sollten, aber wir hatten einen Raum mit Blick gebeten, dass sie nicht bereit waren, was wir nicht überschritten haben. Wir waren angenehmen überrascht, dass ein indisches Gericht in dem schon wunderbaren Frühstücksausbreitung verbreitet wurde, und wir liebten es. Der Koch war genügend freundlich, um uns proaktiv zu fragen, ob wir das Essen genossen und ob wir am nächsten Tag einen speziellen Frühstücksantrag hatten, den sie glücklich geehrt haben. Das Hotel hatte auch direkten Zugang zu Darling Harbour, das sehr bequem war, da wir es besuchen wollten. Insgesamt genossen wir unseren Aufenthalt und gefallen die Gastfreundschaft und Kundenservice in Hyatt, und würden gerne wieder besuchen.

Der Aufenthalt war komfortabel und bot ausreichend Platz für 3 Personen. Allerdings handelt es sich um ein ziemlich altes Hotel mit einer ziemlich kleinen Badewanne. Auch kein Duschkopf, nur Regendusche. Aber insgesamt ein wirklich toller und einladender Aufenthalt. Ziemlich zentral zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Zwei waren sehr geräumig. Reisen für Arbeit und war günstig zu teilen, einschließlich Frühstück. Exzellent Größe Zimmer, anständige in-Zimmer-Essen und Qualität. Über die Erwartungen für ein La carte Frühstück, wirklich reibungsloser Kaffee. Der Fitnessraum war sehr gut ausgestattet, mit leichten Erfrischungen und Lagerung verfügbar. Personal hilfreich, jubiläumig, geduldig und freundlich. Schönes, Erbe Gebäude in der Nähe der Lichtbahn und entweder Ende der Sydney CBD.

Everything went well. We were provided with the twin bed room as specified in our booking, with no unexpected surprises like being given a king bed, which we did not want.. Stayed for 3 nights. Amenities were of good quality. Service was not bad, was attended to immediately at the entrance by the bell boy who handed our luggages with enthusiasm. Was also allowed early checked in as our room was ready when we arrived.

Trotz zweimal anrufen der Frontdesk, setzte der Lärm fort, was unsere Ruhe erheblich störte. Zweitens war die Behandlung eines Brandanfalls unzureichend. Wir wurden plötzlich durch eine Stimmebekanntmachung geweckt, die unverzüglich die Evakuierung ohne vorherige Untersuchungen anordnete. Dies führte zu unnötigen Panik, die einige Gäste auf den Treppen schliefen und andere nur zu Fuß. Als wir die Lobby erreichten, arbeiteten die Mitarbeiter wie üblich und informierten uns, dass die Alarmstufe von jemandem ausgelöst wurde, der in einem Zimmer rauchte. Ich glaube, das Hotel sollte ein wirksameres Protokoll für solche Vorfälle einführen, einschließlich einer angemessenen Untersuchung vor Evakuierungsaufträgen und klare Anweisungen, um Panik und Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Ich hoffe, dass diese Bedenken angegangen werden, um die Erfahrung für künftige Gäste zu verbessern.

Die Lage ist sehr bequem. Man kann zu nahe gelegenen Attraktionen und zum Museumsstation zum Transit zum und vom Flughafen gehen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, und erlaubte mir, frühzeitig zu prüfen und eine Stunde später zu prüfen. Das WIFI ist jedoch etwas langsam und ich habe nicht die Verbindung für meinen Computer erhalten, es sei denn, ich legte es neben dem Mikrowellenofen in der Nähe der Tür, was es mir ein wenig ungünstig macht, meine Arbeit zu tun oder Online-Treffen zu führen. Die Frühstücksmöglichkeiten waren während meiner gesamten Aufenthaltszeit die gleichen. Ich bin froh, dass ich nur 3 Nächte geblieben habe.
