Red Roof Inn Harrisburg - Hershey

It was not as pictured at all. We had to switch rooms as the first room was bug infested and there was hair on the sheets and stains. The second room was hardly any better, there were stains on the sheets and the safety lock was broken. The gentleman that was at the front desk when I checked in was pleasant as were a couple of the housekeepers, other than that, the staff appeared lazy. The housekeeping staff gave clean towels but never ended up in the room. They also claim the building is smoke free, I could smell all the cigarette smoke in the hallway. As far as safety, the fire alarm was non existent, totally broken and safety lock on door was broken. Would definitely not recommend staying here to anyone.

The only good thing about my stay was that the room was fairly clean. The carpet & windows were dirty. There were no amenities. There was no refrigerator, no microwave, no hair dryer in the room & the TV did not work. When I arrived, the front desk clerk was on the phone, talking in Spanish?, and completely ignored me. He didn't even look up & smile. I later saw he was in a wheelchair, not just sitting down, but that does not excuse his ignoring me. There were dogs in the Inn & barked at all hours. When my friend called the front desk & complained, they just hung up on her & nothing was done. There was very loud music being played in the parking lot. As you have probably noticed, I will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again!!!

The place is ran down and dirty! Dirty floors halls walls beds. Stinks of dogs and cigarettes. Trash piled in hallways and cans overflowing. Pile of dirty mattresses out back and a homeless camp next door. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Booked through ******* a room with 2 double bedsfor 3 adults. Was given a room with a king, went back to front desk, no rooms with double beds available so we got a refund and went to a hotel down the street. This place was not inviting or friendly, dirty and is definitely not as advertised! I'm kind of glad we weren't able to stay here.

The place smells like cigarette 24/7 and the smoke detector is just decoration No control remote and sheets have dirty spots

The room was old, had a weird odor missing a drawer and several light bulbs. The beds were comfortable. Was disappointed being I have stayed at other red roof inns.

The linens and comforter are smelly has yellow and black stains, room was so smelly, it has urine and smoke and there is no extra lock..terrible hotel

Do not fall for the pictures for this place. They were obviously either taken when brand new or photo shopped. I stayed in a "smoke free" room that reeked of cigs. Bathroom door had no locks and did not shut without tackling it. Place was dingy and dirty, my pillow had mold on it. My mattress was a very old deformed spring mattress. At night I could hear other residents fighting and screaming with each other. This isnt a safe place to go.

The first room the gave me the deadbolt was broken and the room was clean but wasn’t the best. I asked for another room the second room the deadbolt was good but it was dirty, stained sheets, a roach ran from under the sink. Not happy at all won’t be coming back
