Cascadas Family Resort

Very family oriented resort with a lot of fun creativities for the children and not only for them. You can leave the kids for the day and just spend your day around the waterfall bar with the company of some good cocktails and friends. It’s like a small town with all the shops you need… also a bakery and a restaurant with a show nights and performances which are tailored for all family members. The nature is amazing and very well taken care of. We didn’t even need to leave the resort but even if we did decide the place is strategically located near to all the other activities in Sunny beach.

We booked via Jet2 holidays as a self catering holiday for 7 nights. The apartment had a generous balcony with outdoor shower which was wonderful. Cascadas has many pools they are never crowded and can always find a quiet time. Beautiful grounds you can get lost though! Beds uncomfortable though.

Amazing Hotel complex! Very clean rooms and nice staff!!! I will recommend you to all if friends! Everything was more than I expected! Usually I book different kind hotels, but this new complex was just amazing, really! I strongly recommend’

Would not stay here again. Not as advertised on website, beds are the worst I have ever slept in, couldn’t wait to get home to my own bed, and when your on holiday this shouldn’t be the case, the room was only cleaned once in 7 days, even after contacting and speaking with reception several times, my parents apartment was the same horrible bed, we had to ask for towels and toilet roll as this was never replenished during our stay, the duvets were dirty and stained with no covers on them at all. The saving grace was the Italian restaurant, very good food and attentive waiters, this was the only good thing about this resort. Clearly being used by residents who live for months at a time, no sun beds available during the day even tried the many pools. The restaurant for breakfast was dirty and had cobwebs in every corner, we had to ask most mornings for extra food as not replenished very quickly. One toaster for a lot of guests was tricky as very often a long wait to use this. Personally having stayed in other hotels in sunny beach, don’t waste your money better and more comfortable hotels and resorts for your money.

This is a piece of heaven. A unique complex with rich nature. Smiling and friendly staff. The apartment was cleaned every day and linen and towels were changed regularly. Hygiene was up to par. Breakfast and dinner at the Lotus restaurant were rich, the food was plentiful and excellently prepared, and the staff were top notch, smiling and friendly. My best holiday in Bulgaria!

The hotel grounds are massive, around 20 separate buildings, lovely well kept grounds and clean, the aircon is brilliant. The beds are comfortable. However, the breakfast is supposed to be served until 10.30am. By 10am there was no milk left and it was not getting replenished. As a veggie my daughter and I often struggle for choice but never ususlly at breakfast time, yet couldnt have cereal with no milk...milk in coffee machine hot, minimal bread left, coffee machines were out of hot water, the later you got for breakfast the worse it got, swarms of people darting in and out. Barely any English people in the hotel and barely any manners, certainly no queuing, tables chocka block with plates the waitresses just couldnt keep up with the demand. The guy on the till in the general shop slammed our goods down and our change, despite saying please and thankyou to him, just no need, he was so ignorant everyday and not just to us. I can't understand why. Though the shop had everything you needed at reasonable prices. Took a long time to get to our hotel for local roadworks, only 2 people on reception so checking in took 40minutes then had to find our own way. Though our wardrobe shelf was broken and toiket roll holder fell off wall first day, i reported this so they didntbthink we had broke them but no effort was made to fix them but I dont think receptioniat had a clue what I was saying. Felt safe in the hotel, security and keys opened every entrance. 25min walk to the beach and shops. No night time entertainment as advertised though. Around 9/10 pools lovely shapes and just nice temperature but snorkelled with the kids to find some of the filters were broken and bottom of pool was disgusting with dead skin in places. Bairn cut her foot on a sharp bit of missing tile and you had to be down foe 8.30am to put a towel out otherwise would not get a sunbed. Towels changed every 2 days, bedding every 4 days. Sufficient. Very disappointed in Bulgaria for the people and lack of places to go or entertainmentm Weather was lush 33-37 degrees C at end of July there and the beach was fabulous, golden sands, clear water and shallow for a distance. Good job mind 'cos this was the best thing about the place!
