Nothing like the advertisement, old bed in the middle of an empty room, no bed side tables, disgusting old bathroom with shower worth no screen or curtain, filthy windows and drapes, someone who starts using a blower vac at 8 am for 3 hours, light outside apartment is brighter at night than lights inside, problem with eftpos machine and now my card is cancelled and they charge a surcharge, very poor quality and condition. Would not recommend to anyone.

It’s a 1960s motel which is rundown and substandard. THE GOOD- attentive staff, free on site parking, good wifi and close proximity to the city. THE BAD - it’s noisy - tiled floors and upstairs guest dropping things, electrically unsafe - power points don’t work or are coming off the wall, mould on the bathroom ceiling, it looks dirty but appears clean, poor internet TV reception - two boxes fixed that! Parking while free can be tight. Watch out for guests arguing at 1am! There is no maintenance on the rooms or motel. We would never stay here again! AVOID.

I really had a good experience with my 2 kids during staying at the marcopolo motel in summer hills, the room cleaned every day, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was so good , very close to the train station. I asked about the connection to the Internet and they fixed it very quickly.

Very disappointed. The rooms do not look like anything in the advertisement or their website, they were small, very old and the bathroom very small and outdated. The only good thing was they did a defence discount, walking distance to public transport and food shops. The room was dusty but the bed and sheets were clean but in the stairwell there was bags of rubbish overflowing and smelly. We were told we could see Sydney city from the rooftop, NO YOU CAN'T so the pictures on the website are also incorrect. We were also told we could fit our vehicle in the lock up compound, NO we couldn't we had to leave our vehicle with all our camping gear out on the street, so parking is not suitable for large family vehicles, must be under 2.4m. Will not be staying again.

This place should be avoided at all costs I called the property the day before to advise that we (4 people 2 rooms) had to go straight to work from the airport and we would check-in late. The girl was lovely and said "no problem , we have 24 hour reception". Upon arrival the manager told us late checkin will cost us $35 a room and that the girl who had answered my call was "new"? Then i left my Kindle on the bed when we left the next morning(dumb thing to do). I rang about 6 hours later and told I'd be called back after he'd checked ....nothing untill the next day when I finally got through and told it's gone. Seems to have some poor reviews but I was very happy there for an overnight. Room was clean, bathroom stocked with all the amenities and the bed was comfy. Only criticism is from my wife who said too much outside lighting coming into the room. For the price it was very good value.

I recently stayed here with my husband and young son. I have given it a 1 star rating for the ease of parking, friendly management and location. Sadly that’s all it has going for it. Yes it’s a budget hotel, however I still expected some services. The building is pretty run down, however this wasn’t the issue. The room wasn’t warm or welcoming for a family. Tiles on the floors, not great when you have a toddler who likes to play on the floor. The room was dirty, someone else’s soap in the bathroom and signs of mould in the bathrooms. Sheets didn’t fit the beds and came off during the night. If you stay here, don’t expect a good nights sleep, as the lights from outside shine through the old 80s style glass above the entrance doors. Also don’t expect your room to be serviced. After discovering the room wasn’t serviced the first day, we asked for fresh towels and requested our room to be on the service list for the following day. No problems was the response. However the next day came and again no service was done. WIFI also did not work. The other guests also made me feel uneasy. Do not recommend for a family or for more than a quick overnight stay. Faulty towers came to my mind!

Budget price, clean, quiet, very secure free parking , free WiFi. Easy check in, close to transport. This motel provides everything you need at a basic price point. Friendly staff to be honest it is hard for me to find a negative.
