Mysterious Burglary Experienced at this Hotel
I have stayed at this hotel between Oct.27 to Nov.02 2024. On Nov.01 morning I found my money stolen in my room and reported my loss to the manager, and the half day was spent at the police station filing a record.
While awaiting the police investigating I would like to seek opinions from the hotel management since except I contacted the manager and attendant nobody further asked me a word about my experience of burglary until I checked out on Nov.02. Here are the mysterious points awaiting Mr.Holms studing:
1. The thief should know well about my level 1 and know my room 106 is occupied, since during my stay I have never met any guest in the corridor each time when I entered or came out my room. There are very few guests staying at this hotel recently.
2. The thief should be aware of my absence time. I was absent from my room between appr.4PM to appr.7PM Oct.31. Prior to leaving the lobby I deposited one pack of watermelon at the reception frontdesk telling the boy attendant I will go out. I hid my bag at the top of wardrob and did not touch it at night when back.
3. The thief should have a key either copied or original from the hotel. There is no physical damage to the lock after burglary happened, and I physcially locked the door each night before sleeping. Whenever I went out of my room even for retrieving water at level 2 I locked my room.
4. The thief should master the hidden knowhow to open room 106 correctly. The door is unopenable if via key only, unless the guest pulls the door by one hand and turns the key by another hand simultanously.
5. The thief did not take away my Iphone nor laptop at the desk, and he was so kind in leaving me around USD170 in around 20 notes of three currencies. He took away around USD500 + MYR200+VND1.5 millions. I duly conclude the reason why he left many but small notes in my bag aims not to alert me identiying his theft before I leave Kuala Lumpur.
6.. I asked the hotel no room service required, so since I checked in room 106 no room service was done at my request. CCTV camera is fixed in front of ground entrance and level 1 entrance as well.
I am curious why this thief behaved rarely not taking away all money and not interested in laptop? I attach pictures of CCTV cameras and money reserved for me by this noble thief. Also I hope my above observations will help the hotel managment make improvements to protect their guests from being stolen in the room, apart from putting one notice Guest self taking care of his property and any loss in the room is beyond hotel commitment.

Very bad hotel, very bad service.
I misplaced the room key and asked the Hotel staff to open with their second key. The staff forced to unlock the door after not found the second key. The next day, they refused to refund my deposit even I already found the original key.
Hotel supposed to keep the duplicate key and cannot charge the customer whatever costs from their mistakes.

Lobby and room are very old style, room smell of cigarettes and the toilet door cannot close properly. Surrounding no shop to go, most of shops are empty.

this is the WORST EVER EVER EVER hotel i had ever been, everywhere is dirty snd smelly.
1. The door is very broken, make weird noise, anyone can broke jn very easy, it is VERY UNSAFE!!!
2. The customer service is BAD, not even look at you when u check in, and talk with a bad attitude to customer.
3. There is people ******* in the hotel, just next door, imagine u live next to a guy that already unstable with blurred eyes and smile weirdly to you when u tryna get in your room, and with that broken door…
I booked for 3 night, but decided to check out and requested for refund for the next two night since i already check in the first night.
I spoke to the counter service, and he said it’s no problem & the next two night can be refund. But I need to contact to Trip.com to take the money due to the money haven’t received from the hotel, so i did it.
After contacting the Trip.com customer service, they said no problem but have to wait for the hotel to verify the via email to refund the money back to me. But they can’t reach the hotel, the hotel keep ignoring their email.
So i call to the hotel customer service, and they suddenly don’t want to refund the payment and HUNG UP on us like??
And we try to call back to them, they just keep hang up and hang up, what a poor service and hotel.
#YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO KIVE AT THIS HOTEL trust me!!

Very bad room, I feel regret for booking this place
When I was sleeping half way, other people can open my room using other keys, I was so scared and couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night!
Bed is old and sinking at one side
Bathroom door is broken
Toilet seat is broken
Aircon is old
Don’t get cheated by the false reviews.

If this is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel, it supposed to be but it’s not. It’s a ⭐️ hotel to be honest. Too many flies and mosquitos inside the room with dust till I need to buy the mosquito spray and used it for the last 3 nights. Housekeeping was not done at all and the cleanliness is totally out. Definitely won’t be my return trip to this hotel anymore. 😡

Nothing much in that area, no foods around especially breakfast, walking nearby there's Mall but waited till 10.00am. Dirty towel, couldn't even get a kettle and the worse is the air-conditioned is very noisy which hardly can sleep for 2 nites. Will never come back again even it's Free.

* me and my husband are the frequent road traveller and often used cheap hotel around west malaysia but this time around i can say this is freaking worst hotel.. that is how to summarize it.. yes i know cheap hotel small fees but seriously.. aircond leaking at all time?? Mattress imbalance?? Serious not even worth any penny.. if possible just add on another 50 ringgit and u can find other affordable hotel around.
