No staff , remote entry which worked ok. Met by a strong smell of damp and drains. We were in Room 3 at top of stairs. Room was dirty, rubbish in window cill, cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Bedding was in ironed and the “top sheet” was actually an empty duvet cover. There were stains on the bedding. Towels were damp . Paper was hanging off the wall, bathroom was very tired and needed a complete renovation. Grimy grout. No response to our email after we left as the room was unfit for use.

This place is so cool. Classical style decoration, lots of knights, you should definitely go there just for their knight-y vibes, there is one of a person's height at the front door. Staying here makes you feel like inside a medieval film. Very Stirling. Didn't have breakfast but the dining room seems very pretty

My wife tried to make a booking today, contacted the host directly. Jackie the host was rude and dismissive and my wife was very disappointed she unable to make a booking. I called the host later and without hesitation told me there was no availability, I enquired about the next available date close to our enquiry and again without hesitation told me she has no availability and then hung up the phone. I really don’t understand with an attitude like that why you would be in hospitality

After 2 weeks in Scotland where we enjoyed very pleasant and friendly B&B's we had the unfortunate experience of concluding our trip in this B&B. The only positive point is the location which is great. Other than this, the worst experience of our holidays. Cold welcome, minimal service, doubtful cleanliness, small size bedroom, adventurous bathroom, unpleasant moisture odour and worst ever Scottish breakfast. Not surprisingly our host did not ask if we enjoyed our stay when we left the place. Similarly priced places offer a much higher level of service and comfort.

My wife and I have just returned from a short break at Castle Walk B&B in Stirling. We had a very warm welcome from Jackie the owner who also guided us on where to park and information about the area. The room was very clean warm and comfortable, we slept well and breakfast was an ideal start to the day. Perfect location being in the center of Stirling. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this B&B.

The location is the best thing about this B&B. It's close to restaurants and pubs. You can easily get to Stirling Castle. However, almost everything else was pretty disappointing. Checking in was not easy. We got an email with vague instructions that included a number to call or test with questions. We texted and called and never received a response. The room was not very comfortable and not particularly clean. There is a bar next door and it was VERY loud at night. You can't sleep with the windows open because of the noise and the room was very hot. (It was unseasonably warm while we were there and the room didn't have a fan so we slept with the windows open and needed earplugs to get to sleep.) If you're not spending much time in the room, the location is great.

It is well located to the centre and castle if you have to go to Stirling. Arrival and departure are contactless, so communication with host is via text or email. Beds were fine, shower was fine. The place was fine but generally tired. The host was confused, puzzled and defensive when we asked for simple things like dry towels (ours were damp. It was an odd experience to be met with defensiveness. Again, location is convenient.

Great location in the heart of Stirling, walking from the train station, pubs and all atractions. Nice and clean place with and old casttle admosfare, the host is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this B & B

Lovely little b & b, nothing was too much trouble for the hostess Jackie she even stayed on the phone to direct us as there was road works and brought loo roll to the room at 11pm thank you much appreciated Not the type of place we would normally choose only booked as was an option on a gift voucher but glad we did Must note, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as situated on a hill and 2 flights of stairs to reach the first floor (no lift)
