"Die Lage dieses Hotels ist sehr gut! Das Hotel wird aber 5Sterne niemals gerecht! Unser Zimmer im UG war absolut nicht sauber und hat nach feuchter, gegrauter Luft gerochen! Der Entfeuchtungsapparat stand im Zimmer. Beim Morgenessen, dass eigendlich ganz gut geschmeckt hat mussten wir ein paar mal nachfragen ob sie eventuel noch Orangensaft etc nachfüllen könnten. Bei der reinigung der Tische mussten wir schmunzeln, da das Personal den Schmutz einfach mit dem Lappen auf den Boden wischte oder auf die Sitzbank… Leider kann ich dieses Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen!"

"Auf der Skala 6 würde noch nicht reichen - hier stimmt von der Lage über das herzliche Willkommen über die stimmige & harmonische Einrichtung einfach alles! Neben den gemütlichen Gästezimmern gibt es einen zentralen Aufenhaltsraum mit Kamin, Panoramablick und inklusive Tee mit Keksen zum entspannen. Laura, wir sagen dickes Danke für die Gastfreundschaft und das liebevolle schottische Frühstück - wir kommen definitiv wieder!"

Stirling Youth Hostel

"Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Hostel. Belegen sehr nahe dem Castel und City Centre, in der Nähe mehrerer Punkte von Interessen und Restaurants/Pubs, Bars. Autopark ist verfügbar. Wir reservierten ein en-suite Zimmer mit Dusche und Toilette, einfach aber perfekt für die Nacht. Nur eine Frage war, dass wir am frühen Morgen durch ein Feueralarm geweckt wurden, was wahrscheinlich ein falsches war. Sehr wettbewerbsfähiger Preis auch. stark empfohlen."

"Nice pub and rooms, ideal stopping off point travelling up north near Stirling. The restaurant is good, with reasonably priced classic pub food and selection of beers. Unfortunately we left too early to have the full Scottish breakfast which was included."

"Absolut lieben unsere einnachtige Aufenthalt in Altskeith House. Sehr willkommene Gastgeber, schöne Lage, saubere, komfortabel und leckere Lebensmittel. Sehr empfohlen."

The Allan Park

"We booked our stay here in January and were given rooms in the basement. After heading down the greasy slippery and quite dangerous stairs which were used by the restaurant to bring their dishes upstairs to the restaurant/pub until after 22:00…. we found ourselves stepping through the grease/oil and walking straight into our carpeted rooms. Our room looked straight out to the parked cars onto the parking lot. Very noisey rooms because of the restaurant and pub directly above our rooms.(my sister’s room was next to the kitchen). Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:30. We entered the room at 7:30. The servers were just starting to set up and asked us if they could hoover. We had a round of coffee’s, but our hot breakfast did not come until 8:15. While waiting I got up to ask for a second coffee because no server came by to offer. All in all a very disappointing stay."

"Lovely little b & b, nothing was too much trouble for the hostess Jackie she even stayed on the phone to direct us as there was road works and brought loo roll to the room at 11pm thank you much appreciated Not the type of place we would normally choose only booked as was an option on a gift voucher but glad we did Must note, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as situated on a hill and 2 flights of stairs to reach the first floor (no lift)"

"Very convenient location. Walkable to all necessary places such as train station and Stirling Castle. Exceptional hospitality by all staff, especially Fraser. Breakfast was very nice with several options. I enjoyed the restaurant one evening. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend."

"Terrible place. Smells of fried food and strong mildew. We saw dirty cups, a disgusting shower, tired furniture. “Breakfast” was delivered in a plastic grocery bag. We spent 5 minutes and left. I would choose to sleep in a tent over this place 100% of the time."
