"Das Promenade Hotel bietet große Zimmer mit schönem Ausblick (bei Buchung mit Meerblick). Das Personal ist nett und zuvorkommen. Dennoch haben wir bei Ankunft einzelne Haare im Waschbecken gefunden. Die Handtücher müssten meiner Meinung nach nicht jeden Tag erneuert werden, außer man wünscht dies ausdrücklich (aber dies ist meine persönlicher Eindruck). Am Pool wären mehr als 3 Sonnenliegen gut, da das Hotel viele Gäste beherbergt und 3 zu wenige sind. Das Frühstück war lecker und umfangreich, dennoch sollte hier verstärkt der Service hinterher sein, um Tische abzuräumen und abzuwischen. Manchmal wurde länger etwas nicht nachgelegt, wenn etwas vergriffen war."

"Schöne Unterkunft, aber manche Regeln könnten einem die Laune verderben. Einer meiner Freunde übernachtete während der Aktion für 244 RM (Balkonzimmer) und berechnete 50 RM pro Nacht extra für das im Zimmer vorhandene Schlafsofa – eine lächerliche Frechheit! Also Vorsicht bei der Nutzung eines zusätzlichen Schlafsofas! Das ist meine Erfahrung während meines Aufenthalts hier. 1. Die Rezeptionistin ist unfreundlich, lächelt einen nicht einmal an, so eine Diva. Hahahahaha! 2. Check-in um 14:00 Uhr mit strengen Regeln. 3. Sie verlangen eine Kaution von 250 RM, die nach 7 bis 14 Tagen zurückerstattet wird! Überlegen Sie es sich also besser zweimal, bevor Sie kommen. Ich habe ein paar Fotos hochgeladen, die ich nach dem Check-out gemacht habe."

"Checked in at the hotel at around 9.30pm. I noticed the air conditiong was kinda hot. But i thought to myself, I’ll give it some time run first. Maybe it’ll get better soon. Then an hour later, it was still hot, so i called operator, and she said she will send someone to our room. Waited about 30 minutes or more, still nobody came. I called the second time, and she said she’ll get someone to our room again. And that’s it, nobody came to our room, to help us with the air conditioning. And we were to tired to wait already. So My 8 month old baby sleept sweating that night and i had to fan him with the note book that they put beside the bed. Upon checkout, I complained to the receptionist and the manager about the incident, and they checked on their system that the issue had been resolved. Which was abvioustly a lie. So the manager said he will investigate the matter and he promised something to me. So i hope he keep his words. I’m a regular here, so i know there was something wrong with the air conditioning. I know the quality of the hotel. So let’s see wether the manager is serious about his words."

"Ein Hotel mit toller Lage und direkter Anbindung und einfachem Zugang zur Suria Sabah Mall von der 1. Etage aus. Das Personal ist freundlich, die einzige Schwäche ist die mangelhafte Schallisolierung, man hört sogar, wie nebenan das Licht an- und ausgeschaltet wird, das Geräusch des Föhns usw. Das Frühstück ist einfach und gut."

"Travelling have always taken a toll on my health. There’s a few staffs worth mentioning for their 5 Stars Services from the Heart and the Professionalism displayed. First and always; Florence the front management, Aida, Arman, Patricia and last but not least Isham the bellhop! They are lovely and wonderful individuals who helped contribute to my creature comforts. Once I had a severe mobility issues and Patricia including Isham assisted me with my meals. Florence and Arman took care of my room. Ensured that it was conducive enough for me. My deepest gratitude."

"Das Zimmer war insgesamt gut, aber etwas klein. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock mit Blick auf die Berge. Die Fenster waren mattiert, und dahinter befanden sich Rohre und Klimaanlagen, was es etwas laut machte. Auch das Frühstück war nicht gut, es war deutlich schlechter als in vergleichbaren Ferienhotels."

"It’s one of the best hotels I have stayed. I stayed in Eden suite and the room was spacious. The staff were courteous and very helpful. Take note if you are driving there as the hotel does not provide free parking. You can either park in front of the hotel car park lot (limited bay) at RM30 per night or park at your own risk at the basement car park at RM15 per night."

"Ich muss mich beschweren, das Netzwerk dieses Hotels ist extrem schlecht und nachts praktisch unbrauchbar. Um dieses Hotel zu buchen, müssen Sie im Voraus weitere Roaming-Daten kaufen. Der Safe im Zimmer war kaputt. Er konnte nicht aufgeschlossen werden, nachdem man ihn abgeschlossen hatte. Ich bat ihren Kellner, ihn zu öffnen. Als ich auscheckte, wartete ich eine halbe Stunde und drängte den Kellner dreimal, bevor der Kellner kam, um zu helfen. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass der Service dieses Mal nicht geöffnet werden konnte. , und hatte weitere zehn Minuten Verspätung, weil ich zum Flughafen eilen musste. Ich hatte es eilig! Der Laden liegt an einem Hang, zu Fuß kommt man nicht raus, man muss ein Auto rufen. Zum Glück ist es nicht weit weg. Dieses Hotel muss gerade renoviert worden sein und Verbundholzböden verwendet haben. Leider sind die Fugen zu groß und es gibt keine Schalldämmung im Zimmer und im Flur. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für den Preis recht gut. Die Hotellobby befindet sich noch im Umbau und wird erst in ein oder zwei Monaten fertiggestellt."
