4-Sterne-Hotels in Bordeaux

It is not easy to rate this establishment. Its not that its not good, just it may be good for a small segment of travellers. The B&B is in a renovated old building with some very nice architectural artefacts. However, the design of the use of space is not too friendly to a traveler, especially if you plan to stay there for a few days or more. Let me first talk about the things I like about this B&B: 1. Beautiful old building, 2. very good room size for the room I rented, including a huge bathroom with bathtub. The room is bright with two big french door and window. Areas that I think it would improve to make staying there more enjoyable and convenient: 1. There is no closet or to put your clothes, so we have to lay out all our clothings on a big coach. If you have clothes, pants and jackets you want to hang, you may be out of luck, since there is very little space for hanging clothes, and the hangers supplied could not hang pants. So we lay our pants on the big couch. 2. The night tables are very small and not too much space to put a tablet and a phone and a glass of water there.We have to put the table lamp on the floor in order to make space for other items. 3. The toilet is in a different room outside of the bedroom area, and away from the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no sink in the toilet area, and each time after going to toilet, one have to walk over to the bathroom to wash your hands, a bit inconvenient. 4. On arrival, we were asked what kind of bread we want in the morning, we indicated chocolate croissant, and we were given that for the 5 days we stayed there for breakfast. I think it would have been nice if they have offered other choices each morning. 5. There is no menu for the breakfast, and person looking after the breakfast would come and ask what you want. Unless I know of all the items that they can provide, I could only ask for the familiar items. I thought a simple menu with different offerings would be useful for clients.

Das Zimmer ist eigentlich ganz gut, sauber, elegant und raffiniert, mit halbem Blick auf den Fluss. Es ist ganz zufriedenstellend, nichts auszusetzen, aber es hat keine Besonderheiten. Es gibt auch mehrere Restaurants in der Nähe und Sie können auch einige gotische Gebäude wie Kirchen zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, was sehr praktisch ist. Ich kam an Bordeaux vorbei, aber in Bordeaux gab es nichts Interessantes.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Als ich ein Problem mit meinem Auto hatte, hat der Manager es gelöst, auch wenn es nach dem Auschecken geschah. Ich erinnere mich, dass Bordeaux eine der besten Städte ist und Hotel Vatel das Beste in Bordeaux ist.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location. It is in downtown and a few steps from the tram B. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness and the quality of the bed. My room was very quiet, although pretty small. I won’t recommend it for two people. The staff is gentle and professional. What was disappointing was the unavailability of a business room for work at the needed time. I had to go out to find a place for my business call at 9:00 AM.

La struttura si trova in ottima posizione per visitare la città anche a piedi, ma vi è anche un garage ed un parcheggio pubblico per chi è in auto, inoltre è vicino alla fermata di autobus e un centro commerciale. Le camere sono silenziose, spaziose e complete, letti comodi, piccola cucina e bagno funzionale con vasca e doccia. Personale cordiale e possibilità di fare in loco la prima colazione. Não gostei de diferentes coisas que aconteceram ( abordei a situação com a receção sem qualquer efeito). 1) quarto sem ar condicionado - nunca foi arranjado com temperaturas a rondar os 40*C - RIDICULO 2) A EQUIPA DO bar expulsa as pessoas da zona de lounge antes da 00.00 ( estávamos a consumir e mandaram-nos sair as 23.52) 3) a piscina fica com todas as cadeiras reservadas sem ninguém estar lá. É impressionante não haver ninguém para gerir estas situações Pontos positivos - Estacionamento excelente e seguro - housekeeping sao fabulosas e sempre com um sorriso - Receção sao fantasticos e sabem receber, mas não deram qualquer solução para o grave problema do meu quarto ( 423 - SEM AR CONDICIONADO DURANTE 3 DIAS). Foi péssimo

The rooms are nice. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. My wife found a small bug on the bed. It wasn’t a bed bug but the staff was nice enough to change our rooms. The rooms are not the same even though they’re the same rate. One has a dressing table while the other doesn’t have one. So make sure to ask if you check in early enough. It is walkable to the city centre but not that close. Service staff was helpful and cheerful. Overall, it is good.

Das Zimmer war sauber und die Gegend ruhig. Es liegt etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, aber der Fußweg ist gut zu bewältigen. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Das Hinterhaus hat keinen Aufzug (es hat nur zwei Etagen). Sie können das Hotelpersonal bitten, Ihnen beim Auschecken beim Gepäcktragen zu helfen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, man kann zu Fuß oder mit leichtem Eisenbahnverkehr zum Zentrum gehen. Es gibt auch viele Restaurants in der Nähe der Bahnhof. Das Hotelparkplatz ist auch leichter zu stoppen und die Größe des Parkplatzes ist moderat. Das Hotelpersonal ist enthusiastisch. Das nächste Mal wird die Stadt auch bleiben.

Service by staff was amazing - everyone seemed to speak English to some degree, and were always helpful Room size is good for the price paid. Location is convenient with direct connections to the airport and train station, and several tram and buses a short walk away. But you will need to walk a bit into the main town area (~10mins).
