4-Sterne-Hotels in Bordeaux

It is not easy to rate this establishment. Its not that its not good, just it may be good for a small segment of travellers. The B&B is in a renovated old building with some very nice architectural artefacts. However, the design of the use of space is not too friendly to a traveler, especially if you plan to stay there for a few days or more. Let me first talk about the things I like about this B&B: 1. Beautiful old building, 2. very good room size for the room I rented, including a huge bathroom with bathtub. The room is bright with two big french door and window. Areas that I think it would improve to make staying there more enjoyable and convenient: 1. There is no closet or to put your clothes, so we have to lay out all our clothings on a big coach. If you have clothes, pants and jackets you want to hang, you may be out of luck, since there is very little space for hanging clothes, and the hangers supplied could not hang pants. So we lay our pants on the big couch. 2. The night tables are very small and not too much space to put a tablet and a phone and a glass of water there.We have to put the table lamp on the floor in order to make space for other items. 3. The toilet is in a different room outside of the bedroom area, and away from the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no sink in the toilet area, and each time after going to toilet, one have to walk over to the bathroom to wash your hands, a bit inconvenient. 4. On arrival, we were asked what kind of bread we want in the morning, we indicated chocolate croissant, and we were given that for the 5 days we stayed there for breakfast. I think it would have been nice if they have offered other choices each morning. 5. There is no menu for the breakfast, and person looking after the breakfast would come and ask what you want. Unless I know of all the items that they can provide, I could only ask for the familiar items. I thought a simple menu with different offerings would be useful for clients.

Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht und alles verlief reibungslos. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und professionell. Das Hotel ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten hochwertig. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und gut und wurde lange angeboten. Die Lage ist ideal für einen Spaziergang entlang der Garonne vom Markt in Bacalan zur Place de la Bourse (ca. 3 km).

Die Erfahrung im Hotel war großartig. Erstens hatten wir Bedenken wegen der Lage, aber die U-Bahn vor dem Hotel machte alles so einfach und zugänglich. Was uns auffiel, war das Fehlen einer Rezeption. Ich dachte, dass dies den Service einschränken würde, aber es stellte sich heraus, dass es sich um einen einfachen und einladenden Service handelte, der von effizienten und freundlichen Mitarbeitern angeboten wurde. Auch das Frühstück war sehr positiv, sowohl hinsichtlich der Vielfalt als auch der Qualität der Speisen. Was mir gefehlt hat, waren etwas mehr Annehmlichkeiten, wie zum Beispiel eine Minibar im Zimmer und Hausschuhe. Eine andere Sache, die etwas zu wünschen übrig ließ, war der „Stadtblick“, der durch ein sehr hohes Fenster beobachtet werden konnte, ganz anders als in der Zimmerbeschreibung erwartet. Und was mir am besten gefiel, war, dass der Raum äußerst komfortabel und einladend war, mit guter Ausstattung und einer sehr gut gewählten Farb- und Lichtauswahl. Das Badezimmer war ausgezeichnet und der Reinigungsservice war ausgezeichnet. Und das Bett ... das Bett ... war perfekt und übertraf alle Erwartungen in Bezug auf Größe, Komfort und Qualität der Bettwäsche und Kissen. Es war ein ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt.

The location is a 10-15 min walk away from the train station due to the layout of the train tracks, however it is also served frequently by tram C. Upside is its in a good, quiet and clean neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle. Very modern, clean and chic hotel. Comfortable sized rooms and toilet. Reception served by delightful and polite ladies.

La struttura si trova in ottima posizione per visitare la città anche a piedi, ma vi è anche un garage ed un parcheggio pubblico per chi è in auto, inoltre è vicino alla fermata di autobus e un centro commerciale. Le camere sono silenziose, spaziose e complete, letti comodi, piccola cucina e bagno funzionale con vasca e doccia. Personale cordiale e possibilità di fare in loco la prima colazione. Le pulizie ed il cambio asciugamani successivi all'arrivo sono da richiedere e comportano un supplemento La soluzione ideale per visitare Bordeaux

The staff were consistently helpful and friendly, helping with restaurant reservations and any other issues that arose. The restaurant staff were attentive. The only concern was with the very small fitness center. We would have appreciated more types of exercise equipment.

Great surprise and very well priced for the quality of this hotel! Rooms are very spacious and modern. Bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Location is convenient from Gare St Jean but quite far from shops and most restaurants. The rooftop bar and restaurant are a great service to have on site but not open early enough in the day.

Die Zimmer sind schön. Wir reservierten 2 Zimmer für 2 Nächte. Meine Frau fand einen kleinen Fehler im Bett. Es war kein Fehler im Bett, aber das Personal war schön genug, um unsere Zimmer zu ändern. Die Zimmer sind nicht die gleichen, obwohl sie die gleiche Rate sind. Einer hat einen Kleidungstisch, der andere hat keinen. So stellen Sie sicher, ob Sie sich früh genug überprüfen. Es ist wandelbar zum Stadtzentrum, aber nicht so nah. Servicepersonal war hilfreich und glücklich. Im Allgemeinen ist es gut.

Beautiful and trendy hotel. Located about 20 mins walk from the city centre. The lady at the reception for my check in was wonderful and super helpful. Asked for breakfast room service and it was such a great spread and can feed a whole army! Thank you for looking after me.

I would suggest bath mats in the shower particularly for older people, once the water has hit the shower it tends to be a bit slippery. I would also suggest that perhaps down at the barrier area they might introduce fries so that you can have just snacks with your drinks rather than food. Additionally, while it was warm outside, depending on the type of year, the air conditioning at that level was not fully functional. The staff were for always eager to help and would go out of their way to ensure that our needs were met.
