4-Sterne-Hotels in Bordeaux

It is not easy to rate this establishment. Its not that its not good, just it may be good for a small segment of travellers. The B&B is in a renovated old building with some very nice architectural artefacts. However, the design of the use of space is not too friendly to a traveler, especially if you plan to stay there for a few days or more. Let me first talk about the things I like about this B&B: 1. Beautiful old building, 2. very good room size for the room I rented, including a huge bathroom with bathtub. The room is bright with two big french door and window. Areas that I think it would improve to make staying there more enjoyable and convenient: 1. There is no closet or to put your clothes, so we have to lay out all our clothings on a big coach. If you have clothes, pants and jackets you want to hang, you may be out of luck, since there is very little space for hanging clothes, and the hangers supplied could not hang pants. So we lay our pants on the big couch. 2. The night tables are very small and not too much space to put a tablet and a phone and a glass of water there.We have to put the table lamp on the floor in order to make space for other items. 3. The toilet is in a different room outside of the bedroom area, and away from the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no sink in the toilet area, and each time after going to toilet, one have to walk over to the bathroom to wash your hands, a bit inconvenient. 4. On arrival, we were asked what kind of bread we want in the morning, we indicated chocolate croissant, and we were given that for the 5 days we stayed there for breakfast. I think it would have been nice if they have offered other choices each morning. 5. There is no menu for the breakfast, and person looking after the breakfast would come and ask what you want. Unless I know of all the items that they can provide, I could only ask for the familiar items. I thought a simple menu with different offerings would be useful for clients.

Das Zimmer ist relativ sauber, nicht weit vom Hochgeschwindigkeitsbahnhof Bordeaux entfernt. Nur für Aktivitäten sind Hotels in Frankreich weniger interessant als in China. Der Raum ist nicht sehr groß und die Dekoration ist relativ einfach.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Als ich ein Problem mit meinem Auto hatte, hat der Manager es gelöst, auch wenn es nach dem Auschecken geschah. Ich erinnere mich, dass Bordeaux eine der besten Städte ist und Hotel Vatel das Beste in Bordeaux ist.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location. It is in downtown and a few steps from the tram B. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness and the quality of the bed. My room was very quiet, although pretty small. I won’t recommend it for two people. The staff is gentle and professional. What was disappointing was the unavailability of a business room for work at the needed time. I had to go out to find a place for my business call at 9:00 AM.

La struttura si trova in ottima posizione per visitare la città anche a piedi, ma vi è anche un garage ed un parcheggio pubblico per chi è in auto, inoltre è vicino alla fermata di autobus e un centro commerciale. Le camere sono silenziose, spaziose e complete, letti comodi, piccola cucina e bagno funzionale con vasca e doccia. Personale cordiale e possibilità di fare in loco la prima colazione. Le pulizie ed il cambio asciugamani successivi all'arrivo sono da richiedere e comportano un supplemento La soluzione ideale per visitare Bordeaux

🟢 Die Lage war sehr bequem und einfach zu reisen. Wir parkierten dort und dann verwendeten die Zugbahn um sich zu bewegen. Bequem und einfach. Der Innenraum des Gebäudes sieht frisch und gut aus. Die Zimmer waren ziemlich groß, so dass wir überall verbreiten konnten. Überrascht, die Toiletten und Duschen getrennt zu sehen, aber genießbar. Große Wahl für das Frühstück für 18€, aber manchmal wartete auf die Wiederfüllung. 🔴 Das Personal war nicht wirklich freundlich, es sei denn, Sie waren derjenige, der Ihre Annäherung und mit ihnen reden wollte. Es gab eine Alarmaufnahme früh am Morgen während unseres Aufenthalts und niemand war an der Rezeption, um uns zu begrüßen und uns zu sagen, ob wir evakuieren oder was. Als wir (andere Kunden und wir) dem Empfänger erzählten, dass es nicht normal war, dass sie sich erschreckt und anstatt sich entschuldigen oder was auch immer wieder antwortete. Das Personal wusste nicht, was sie in diesem Fall zu tun hätten. Nicht beruhigend, wenn es irgendwann ein echtes Feuer gibt. 🟡 Reinigung war nicht erstaunlich, aber hätte schlimmer sein können, so dass keine Kommentare dazu.

Pretty nice ‘Indigo’ experience.  Nice reception and service, especially the very sweet offer of complimentary croissants and pastries leaving on GF at the morning time, let the busy travelers just to grab and go for a simple breakfast.  Overall a quite happy stay there, especially if you like running at the morning, it’s just steps away from the podium along the Gironne River, which is so beautiful!

Beautiful and trendy hotel. Located about 20 mins walk from the city centre. The lady at the reception for my check in was wonderful and super helpful. Asked for breakfast room service and it was such a great spread and can feed a whole army! Thank you for looking after me.

Das Hotelzimmer ist in Ordnung, die geografische Lage ist relativ, ich habe drei Tage lang gelebt, ich habe 380 Euro Guld geladen, die Kreditkarte verriegelt, und beim Abreisen war es sicher, dass die Rezeption ist. Alles in Ordnung, ich habe mich zwei Tage später zurückgezahlt, aber ich habe 132 Euro geladen, ich habe gerufen und fragte, was passiert ist, Wir sagten, wir hatten das Frühstück im Hotel, wir sagten nein, das letzte Mal habe ich eine Minute an dem Hotel geprüft, und es war ein Fehler, jetzt muss ich das Geld zurückgeben. Ich möchte mein IBAN-Konto. Service by staff was amazing - everyone seemed to speak English to some degree, and were always helpful Room size is good for the price paid. Location is convenient with direct connections to the airport and train station, and several tram and buses a short walk away. But you will need to walk a bit into the main town area (~10mins).
