Room was clean and well appointed except there was no milk for the coffee and tea provided. Luckily I have mine black. Location is great. It looked like the pool would be nice but I was only there for 4 hours as I landed in Darwin with the Red-eye flight. It would be nice to consider a lower room cost for business travellers who are in late and checked out before 10am and only in Darwin for 36 hours. Team were forthcoming with after-hours access code and letting me stay on the ground floor after such a tiring flight (4.5 hours). Really safe and secure for solo business travel. I would definitely stay again.

Wir hatten ein Kingsize-Zimmer mit herrlichem Blick aufs Wasser. Das Bett war sehr bequem, aber das Badezimmer war im Vergleich zu anderen Hiltons, in denen wir übernachtet haben, sehr klein. Es war mit 389 $ pro Nacht nicht billig, aber das Frühstück war im Preis inbegriffen. Wir nehmen nie das Frühstück mit, da wir nicht so gerne frühstücken und diese Buffets für 30 bis 40 $ pro Person es uns nicht wert sind. Da es im Preis inbegriffen war, nahmen wir etwas, waren aber enttäuscht, dass ein Barista-Kaffee extra kostete und 7 $ für eine kleine Tasse. Dies war die einzige Option für milchfreien Kaffee. Abgesehen davon war das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und effizient. Kein Wasser im Zimmer, nicht einmal eine Kanne, um einen Teelöffel Wasser abzukühlen. Schöner großer Flachbildfernseher und obwohl es keine Streaming-Dienste darauf gab, gab es einige kostenlose Filme. Keine USB-Anschlüsse im Zimmer und nur ein bequemer Sessel.

As requested, I was given the perfect view and a quiet environment. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This is my fourth stay, and it has always been as wonderful as the first.

The hotel was under massive renovation. Couldn't get a good Waterview room due to that. The front desk staffs are very accommodative and helpful trying to offer other rooms and options. The swimming pool is the best and we really enjoyed it especially in the hot climates.The location is at the Esplanade,directly sea facing with a nice view and big park . Highly recommend!

Novotel Airport Darwin is a typical airport hotel. They run an on demand shuttle to & from the airport terminal which is very handy, and only a short distance away. The rooms are simple, clean and functional. In room tea & coffee is provided, and there was fresh milk in the fridge. I opted to include breakfast in my booking, which was very good. Lots of choices, including traditional cooked breakfast, lots of bread options (some gluten free), yogurt, fruit and pastries. If you're on the run they provide take away cups for hot beverages, which is a nice touch. Overall I would happily stay here again.

I stayed 5 nights, I didn’t like the room in 4th floor at the start (as I requested a higher floor room and quiet room, but I got a room next to the elevator) the TV wasn’t facing the bed. I then changed to another room in 8th floor, room was great but the shower room door couldn’t be closed so the water was everywhere and it wouldn’t dry; also cleaner told me cuz it was public holiday they are not able to change my sheets. The last night I stayed, fire alarm went off at 4am everyone went to the lobby, it was a false alarm but I got very scared.

Am 21. November 2025, am Tag vor dem Cyclone Fina Darwin geschlagen, haben wir uns bei Oaks Elan angemeldet. Mein Mann und ich waren beeindruckt, wie das Personal uns über das informiert hat, was passiert ist. Während des Frühstücks am 22. November wurde uns der Manager erzählt, dass das Restaurant bis zu einer weiteren Bekanntmachung geschlossen wird, weil sie die Mitarbeiter zu Hause mit der Familie zu lassen, wenn der Cyclon getroffen wird. Wir wurden gebeten, alles Essen, das wir vom Restaurant wollen, um uns zum Mittagessen, zum Abendessen und möglicherweise zum Frühstück für den nächsten Tag zu verpacken. Wir waren froh, dass wir nicht hungrig waren, als es keine Orte gab, um Essen zu bekommen, wenn alles geschlossen war. Der Manager, der das Fest am Tag und am nächsten Tag hält, hat eine sehr gute Arbeit gemacht! Er rollte den Mantel auf und machte alles selbst, als er offensichtlich sehr kurz Personal war.

Generally, the hotel serve as a good location for day trips to out of Darwin. There are public parking lots outside the hotel which are free, as there are limited lots within the hotel's open air parking compound except the underground. There are limited amenities except a small pool. The room are very basic but the balcony added a good atmosphere for dining with a view.

I have experienced a great stay during my stay in Darwin. The services are very good.
