Originally a mansion for a mining baron, the building fell into disrepair until an architect purchased and restored it. The mansion is absolutely beautiful and full of history and antiques. I shared the “Enchanting Turret” room with my older sister. The beds were far enough away that we were afforded ample privacy. The owner, Sheila, lives on the grounds and was a gracious host, offering both hospitality and valued advice about the area. On top of everything, it’s in a great area close to both restaurants and the airport. I give this establishment my highest recommendation.

Wonderful place! I always enjoy staying here. Clean, friendly, welcoming and never a single issue. Paul, Jada and the rest of the staff make you feel so at home!

I was on travel for my mother-in-law funeral and I had booked the double bed but once I checked in, double bed room was not available, instead I was given a one King size bed. and later on-duty manager provided me with roll away bedroom which took most of the room and very inconvenient to move about in the room.

Very close to our venue. The hotel room was clean and spacious . Fresh new towels, refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher, sink, king size sofa bed as a comfy king bed. Hot water and cold Ac to boot. Breakfast was decent as eggs, waffles, grits and oatmeal on our 2 days. Fresh fruit and juices offered along with piping hot coffee. The market for after hours snacks and what nots is sparce. They need help in this area. Staff was polite and friendly.

I don’t think the hotel was anything special, they didn’t have water in the room which should be expected for the price I’m paying. However Miss Lafaye was amazing. I used to be a night manager 15 years ago for a Hilton Property. She immediately saw how tired I was from my flight and got me checked in and my card with lightning speed. I can tell she’s very well trained and professional, and that made the highlight of my stay.

We wanted to stay in Irondale rather than Birmingham and although this property didn't have great or CURRENT reviews,the description said that it was renovated in 2024 and no other property had a better review. It was indeed updated in some areas and our room was very nicely appointed with new upholstery and modern furniture but it was not clean. There was a layer of dust (construction?) on EVERYTHING and long, dark hairs on the bathroom floor. The window glass was filthy. The freezer was so in need of defrosting that the door would not shut and we were unable to refreeze our flat ice packs. I would guess that no one has stayed in the room since the renovation and the room had not received a post-construction cleaning. The elevator was very dirty,noisy, and a bit scary to ride to the 4th floor. The regular clientele is obviously traveling construction workers. Staff was very friendly but unprofessional.

Gutes Geschäftshotel, mit einem Bus, der kostenlos vom Flughafen übernommen wird, und nach dem Ausziehen der Gepäck am Flughafen wird das Hotel anrufen, um ein Auto zu nehmen. Sie können auch den Transportdienst mehr als vier Uhr morgens organisieren, lobenswert!

Ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Die Zimmer waren sauber, gut gepflegt und mit allen wesentlichen Einrichtungen ausgestattet. Das Personal war professionell, freundlich und immer bereit, mit jeder Anfrage zu helfen. Die Lage war bequem, so dass es einfach zu den Schlüsselbereichen der Stadt zu kommen. Insgesamt war es eine komfortable und problemfreie Erfahrung. Ich würde dieses Hotel sowohl für Geschäftsreisende als auch für Freizeitreisende empfehlen.
