I recently had the pleasure of staying at a youth hostel that truly stood out for its exceptional qualities. Nestled in a residential area, its location was incredibly convenient, offering a tranquil retreat just a bike ride away from the city center—less than 10 minutes to be exact. This made for peaceful nights, ensuring a restful sleep in a safe environment. The hostel is run by a delightful couple whose hospitality knew no bounds. They were not only eager to assist with any issues that arose but also went above and beyond by providing bicycles. This thoughtful touch significantly enhanced my mobility around Houston, allowing me to reach various destinations swiftly. What set this hostel apart was the attention to detail and the array of complimentary amenities, including cookies, milk, cereal, coffee, and tea. The cleanliness and smart technology throughout the house contributed to a seamless stay, making it the best hostel experience I've ever had. The bathroom towels folded into swan shapes were a testament to the owners' dedication to detail, adding a touch of elegance and care. The warmth of the place was akin to being at home, with the owners always ready for a chat, eager to answer questions, and share their stories and experiences. A highlight for me was the world map on the living room wall, where guests could pin their home countries—a fun and interactive way to connect with fellow travelers. In summary, this hostel was more than just a place to stay; it felt like a home, or perhaps more accurately, a homestay. It's undoubtedly the best hostel I've ever stayed in globally, blending the comfort of a home with the adventurous spirit of a hostel.

Wir haben einen freundlichen Grüße beim Eintritt in die Lobby erhalten, der Eincheckprozess war hart, und obwohl sie nicht die nebenzimmern hatten, sorgten sie dafür, dass das zweite Zimmer nur Fuß entfernt war. Sie erlaubten uns, etwas früh in ein Zimmer zu Check-in einzustellen und innerhalb von 30 Minuten angerufen, um uns zu informieren, dass das zweite Zimmer bereit war. Sie lieferten auch die Kochtaschen, damit wir warme Mahlzeiten für unsere Familien machen können. Alle wir uns getroffen hatten, waren sehr günstig vom Frühstückspersonal bis zur Hauspflege. Warm Frühstück war ein Plus. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass die Eismaschine auf unserem Stock nicht betrieben war, so dass wir nach unten nach dem ersten Stock fahren mussten, um Eis zu holen.  Die Zimmer waren sauber, modern, groß und sicherlich eine Familie von 5 (2 Zimmer für insgesamt 10 Gäste). Viele Restaurants und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt, aber nichts, das die gleiche Straße wie das Hotel teilt, obwohl es eine McDonald’s über die Autobahn innerhalb einer Gasstation gibt. Ich glaube nicht, umgeben von Speisen, die zum Ein- und Ausfahren des Parkplatzes geholfen haben. Absoluter Konsens ist, wir werden bald wieder zurück!

We stayed at Home2Suite during our last trip to Houston but it was the one at Pearland. We arrived at this one late in the night and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. However once we entered the lift, we were welcomed with a strong greasy smell. The hall way had rug that was clean but obviously old. The major concern was the room which had a hole in the ceiling inside the toilet dripping water all over the floor. The AC also wasn’t working well that even at 19 degrees Celsius, was still warm. Initial complain to the staff was met with no vacant room, that they were fully booked. We managed for the first three days because we were outdoors most of the time. The room was later changed to a more comfortable one. The other thing was the swimming pool. My kids really wanted to swim during our stay but the staff mentioned that some handle to the pool was broken and that it was closed. The breakfast was also good but with little varieties to choose from.

Trotzdem genossen ich meinen Aufenthalt im Hotel wegen seiner anderen positiven Attribute. Das Restaurant im Vorfeld serviert leckere Lebensmittel, das erfreuliche Frühstück war ein schöner Kontakt, und der Zimmerservice war schnell und effizient. Wenn das Hotel in die Verbesserung ihrer Gewichts- und Fitnesseinrichtungen investieren könnte, würde es die allgemeine Erfahrung der Gäste erheblich verbessern. Ich würde in Zukunft hier nochmals überdenken, aber hoffe, dass in diesem Bereich Verbesserungen zu sehen.”

Perfect location. Dinning and drink is offer every night 5pm to 7pm, it’s great. Employees are excellent

Everything was as expected. Free breakfast, laundry room and even better with suites and some day fast food restaurants in walking distance.

Perfect place ro stay without the upcharges of parking. Very qick location to downtown and other areas

the hotel has a comfortable beds and nice 50 inch tvs in each room . couches and a desk and bar area with fridge . nice hot water in shower . streaming is available in each room and free coffee. staff is nice too .

Die Umgebung ist gut, das Servicepersonal ist begeistert und im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen Fitnessraum. Leider wusste ich nicht, wann ich ging. Es gibt keine Einkaufszentren in der Nähe, aber Einkaufszentren wie die Galleria sind nicht weit entfernt

Der Aufzug funktionierte nicht, so dass wir die Treppen mit unserem Gepäck nutzen mussten. Wir hatten ein älteres Paar in unserer Party. Ich hatte auch für meine Reise durch die Buchungsfirma bezahlt und wurde wieder bezahlt. Ich musste etwa 2 Wochen warten, bis ich endlich zurückgezahlt wurde.
