HHamza0896Cute hotel which is very well located in Cusco in between San Pedro Market and the historic centre. The father and son who run the place are extremely welcoming and the room is very clean. Breakfast is simple but nice and the staff are very attentive. They were very kind to pack us a breakfast bag when we were leaving early in the morning for our sacred valley tour.
The room we stayed in was quite small but I think other rooms might be bigger since it's a converted house. It would be nice if there was a couple of small bottles of water in the room when you arrive rather than having to pay for it, especially given the altitude.

SS_KKThe rooms were clean and comfortable with a storage heater and hot shower. About 10 minutes walk to the main square. However, when we arrived it was a little strange for us when the receptionist said that we didn't have a booking there even though we had and I had the confirmation receipt to show him. He wasn't responsive until I called Trip.com online service, and then he continued looking and said that he actually found it, so maybe be aware of this happening when you arrive. It was also a little strange that after they checked us in, we had a lot of luggage and staff showed us to the rooms that were quite a walk away and up one set of stairs and two sets of elevators, that they didn't help with anything of the bags. We only noticed this as we had much better service in other hotels in Cusco.

GGastnutzerDas Katari Apart Hotel in Qorikancha war die perfekte Unterkunft für meine Reise nach Cusco 3-day! Es ist in einer großen zentralen Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten von den verschiedenen Platzen mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants entfernt. Mein Zimmer war großartig - sauber und komfortabel mit einer Küche und einem eigenem Bad. Alex war ein unglaubliches Gastgeber - er war so aufmerksam und reaktiv und gab mir einige ausgezeichnete Empfehlungen für Dinge zu tun und zu sehen und Restaurants zu essen. Ich konnte meine Gepäck nach dem Auschecken am letzten Tag aufbewahren, da ich einen Abendflug hatte und Alex half mir ein Taxi zu holen, um einen fairen Preis und sichere Fahrt zu gewährleisten.

GGastnutzerI stayed at this hotel twice; in between I went to Macchu Pichu and left the baggage at the hotel.
Location wise - it’s very central with a PeruRail office next door albeit the other ones are not too far.
Reception is 24hr and there is a nice courtyard with a restaurant as well as a common area with a kitchen at the back.
I stayed in the Teepee tent on both occasions; first time the rate was more affordable at around gbp40/night. In July, the night gets cold. But the tent does have additional blankets and a heater. This worked except on the last night as it seems it stopped in middle of the night. Without the heater, the room was quite cold. The common bathroom is at the back; the showers are ok and you get enough privacy. I noticed the hot water does take a while to come through. I left the baggage in the storage - no issues. Overall good but for same price bracket I would try somewhere else.

Das Hotel ist gemütlich, sauber und verfügt über eine sehr warme, weltfreundliche Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist hervorragend perfekt für einen Spaziergang rund um die Stadt und entspannen sich nach einem langen Tag.
Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt ist das Frühstück absolut göttlich. Alles ist frisch, lecker und gemütlich vorbereitet, mit einer großen Vielfalt. Sie können wirklich die Pflege für die Gäste fühlen.
Das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam und immer bereit, zu helfen.
Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt und würden glücklich zurückkehren. Sehr empfohlen.

GGastnutzerHad two separate bookings with the hotel as I was going to Machu Picchu and staying overnight there. During my first day at this hotel in my first reservation, I was asked to pay for this second booking together. No receipt given but was assured that there will not be any misunderstanding. Was told to pack and leave my things at the reception and check out and re-check in. So not sure why I needed to pay for the second reservation upfront in my first booking (Maybe afraid that I would cancel it as I was really tempted to). As mentioned in my previous post, the amenities are severly lacking, cause of low water supply, the pipes and toilet filling up is very loud and the water flow from the tap is like the picture at night and it was trickling and dripping one of the early mornings when I had a tour. In short, i will not stay here again.

KK TravelsLet me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice.
But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath.
The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it.
I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep.
Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh

Gg_soo23I guess it was decent for value for money however, the service was not good as there’s a major language barrier. I do not recommend it if you don’t speak Spanish. Even with a translator a lot was misunderstood and no one went out of their way to help.
