Auch nachdem ich zwei weitere hochpreisige Belmond-Eigenschaften und die JW Marriott versucht habe, glaube ich nachdrücklich, dass dies die ultimative Wahl ist. Die Schönheit dieses Hotels ist über die Worte hinaus. Die eleganten öffentlichen Räume und ruhige Gärten schaffen eine Atmosphäre der zeitlosen Ruhe. Die klassischen, historischen Wände schütteln Geschichten der Vergangenheit, während die schlauen goldenen Kapelle ein atemberaubendes Gefühl der Großheit hinzufügt. Jedes Detail ist ein Meisterwerk. Aber was wirklich Belmond Monasterio absetzt ist sein Service. Das Personal ist warm, professionell und wirklich betreuend. Ihre Service-Einstellung ist unvermeidlichVielleicht das Beste in Südamerika. Ein gutes Beispiel: Als ich meine Kreditkarte verloren habe, fanden sie sie und gaben sie schnell zurück. Im Vergleich zum Los Cabos Waldorf (die ich aufgrund seiner Preisgestaltung erwähne), ist dieser Hotelservice auf einem anderen Niveau unendlich persönlicher, gedankenvoll und Herzensgefühl. Ich würde meinen Butler gerne eine besondere Anerkennung geben, obwohl ich leider seinen Namen vergessen habe. Kurz gesagt, ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. The photos don't do justice to the place! The hotel is fantastic--the location is close enough to the attractions but just outside of the main tourist area since it's up on the hillside, so it's the perfect combination of convenience and relaxation. The check-in process was so welcoming, we felt at home as soon as stepping into the hotel's courtyard. The views from the hotel were unbelievable; the breakfast was great; the rooms were very clean and has all the comforts you'd need. And don't miss the llamas in the backyard! The restaurant staff didn't seem very experienced but it was sufficient.

not in the centre of Cusco but close enough, 5-10mins to main square. we left our luggage at hotel when we went to Machu Picchu and when we got back was already waiting for us in our reserved room. decent size bed/ room, bath room but small and the fan is cold in winter as it blows directly to the shower/tun. But generally good service. breakfast was also decent, although they seemed understaffed at the restaurant

Es war eine nette Überraschung, dass ich Dessert und Kaffee zubereiten durfte, und ich liebe dieses Hotel! Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist zwar nicht riesig, aber es ist trotzdem in Ordnung. Das Zimmer ist super sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich!

Highly recommended, I’d definitely stay here again Location is unbeatable: just a 3‑minute walk to Plaza de Armas, perfect for exploring the city on foot. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a cosy bed and a heater available at all times. No TV in my room but honestly, with everything nearby, you won’t miss it 😄 Extremely helpful staff, genuinely some of the most supportive I’ve ever encountered. They were incredibly accommodating and even helped me multiple times late at night when Rappi wasn’t working and I needed to order food. If you have early tours (4:00, 5:00, 6:00 AM), just let them know in advance — they’ll happily prepare your breakfast earlier for you, which I really appreciated. They also decorated our room exactly as requested, which made our stay even more special.

This is an amazing hotel with friendly and accommodating staff! The views from the front are unreal also, and the rooms very big and cleaned everyday to a high standard! Would definitely recommend. The staff also made us lunch when we had early morning trips!

Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Cusco ist wegen der Höhenkrankheit schwer zu erreichen, aber es ist wirklich komfortabel, in die Mitte zu kommen und entspannen. Es gibt auch ein koreanisches Restaurant namens Sarangchae direkt über die Straße. Die Nacht ist, dass der Schlachthof ein bisschen alt ist und es einen Club vor dem Hotel gibt, so dass es ein bisschen laut bis zum Morgen ist. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und ich hatte einen guten Aufenthalt für 3 Nächte.

Let me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice. But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath. The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it. I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep. Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh

Insgesamt ist das Hotel für Cusco-Verhältnisse in Ordnung. Es ist ein kleines Zimmer mit einem kleinen Fenster, einem sehr kleinen Badezimmer, ohne Heizung, ohne Trinkwasser und ohne Hausschuhe. Trotzdem gebe ich 5 Sterne für Sauberkeit, Lage und die Tatsache, dass das Hotel neu ist. Als wir dort waren, kostete die Nacht 90 Dollar ohne Frühstück. Dafür war es akzeptabel. Als wir jedoch für zwei Tage weg waren und zurückkamen, kostete die Nacht 180 Dollar, was für dieses Hotel einfach unvorstellbar ist. Nach einer Woche in Cusco wurde uns klar, dass Preis und Qualität nicht nur in diesem Hotel, sondern auch in anderen ein großes Problem darstellen! Sie verlangen hohe Preise und bieten nur minimalen Service!
