We had a good stay here and found it very convenient as a transit stop before my flight. The location is close to the airport, which made it a great choice for a short stay. We arrived around 6 pm and left for the airport at 11 pm, and everything worked out smoothly. This is a family house where the upper unit is rented out for guests. The owner was very accommodating and kind throughout our stay. He arranged both pick-up and drop-off at a reasonable price and regularly checked in to make sure we were okay. We also really appreciated his understanding when our toddler accidentally stained the bedsheet. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, especially for transit travelers.

Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen, der Besitzer hat ein schönes Konzept und achtet auch auf Details wie mit eigenem Logo auf den Handtüchern. Das Zimmer und das Objekt waren Sauber und sehr gepflegt, da achtet jemand auf sein Eigentum. Zum Thema Service einfach super, wir dachten erst das wir deutlich später ankommen zum einchecken, am Ende waren wir doch schon etwas zu früh da 😅 Das stelle aber kein Problem dar und wir konnten direkt rein und uns wohlfühlen. Vielen Dank für den letzten schönen Abend.

Großer Ort zum Aufenthalt. Personal war sehr gut und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war gut. Zimmergröße war geräumig und es war großartig, eine Auswahl an AC oder Anruf-Fan zu haben. Groß, auch eine intelligente TB zu haben. Die Auswahl der Minibar-Optionen war perfekt und zu einem angemessenen Preis. Poolbereich war sauber und gut gepflegt. Ich würde hier wieder bleiben.

Ich habe alles sehr genossen; die Rezeptionistin war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer und das Hotel selbst waren blitzsauber, und alles war bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht. Sie halfen uns, einen Flughafentransfer für die Nacht zu buchen. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort, perfekt für alle, die ankommen oder sich auf einen entspannten Urlaub vorbereiten. Als kleines Dankeschön bekamen wir nach unserer Reise noch etwas Saft – eine nette Geste. Ein paar Verbesserungsvorschläge: Es wäre schön, wenn das WLAN-Passwort gut sichtbar im Zimmer angebracht wäre. Ich habe dort übernachtet, und meine Internetverbindung funktionierte nicht richtig. Ich bemerkte das erst, nachdem ich im Bett war. Ich wollte mich nicht extra anziehen und zur Rezeption gehen, um das Passwort zu bekommen.

The hosts were truly amazing. At first, I completely misunderstood them, but they handled it so professionally. We were travelling with our seven‑year‑old, and when we requested transport, they arranged everything seamlessly. We did find some cheaper options, but the quality of the car and the level of service made it well worth it. When we return to Sri Lanka, even just transiting, we’ll definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a great beachfront location with a decent size pool and plenty of restaurants to explore by foot. I ate dinner in-house once which was good and arrived quickly. The room I had booked was fan-only and fine for me. Breakfast was great and staff went out of their way to fulfill my expectations. I received a kettle as I stayed 8 nights and wanted to drink tea on my balcony. The most notable aspect really is the friendliness of the entire team. Everyone is really genuinely pleasant and made me feel at home.

Edwin’s Airport Garden is a great choice if you’re looking for a quick convenient stay near the airport as you transit through Colombo/Negombo. Basic but comfortable room, good water pressure and AC. The host is also really accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
