Es war ein fantastischer Aufenthalt in Negombo. Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Bett und Kissen waren sehr bequem. Die Gastgeber und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und haben uns freundlich behandelt. Das Frühstück, sowohl westlich als auch sri-lankisch, war fantastisch, frisch und lecker. Wir können dieses schöne Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Old beautiful hotel located near the port. Room was big and clean, the toilet is old and not that pleasant. Its near to the train station just walking distance. I took a train from there to kandy. Breakfast was not as great as I was expecting. Simple dishes though. Overall it's like a medieval building converted to a hotel.

Sonnenaufgang Palace Negombo liegt etwa 30 Minuten nördlich des Flughafens. Wir hatten eine spät ankommende Flugreise und wurden am Flughafen getroffen und sicher weg zum Hotel gewaschen. Wir wurden schnell überprüft - ein sehr komfortables Bett, sauberes Zimmer und Fan/Aircon. Die Nachbarschaft war ruhig. Frühstück mit Obst, Toast, Eier, Sauce und Tee wurde am Balkon genossen. Wir waren sehr gut auf unserem kurzen Aufenthalt geachtet.

Großer Ort zum Aufenthalt. Personal war sehr gut und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war gut. Zimmergröße war geräumig und es war großartig, eine Auswahl an AC oder Anruf-Fan zu haben. Groß, auch eine intelligente TB zu haben. Die Auswahl der Minibar-Optionen war perfekt und zu einem angemessenen Preis. Poolbereich war sauber und gut gepflegt. Ich würde hier wieder bleiben.

The hosts were truly amazing. At first, I completely misunderstood them, but they handled it so professionally. We were travelling with our seven‑year‑old, and when we requested transport, they arranged everything seamlessly. We did find some cheaper options, but the quality of the car and the level of service made it well worth it. When we return to Sri Lanka, even just transiting, we’ll definitely stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located and offers good value for the price. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming; however, they appeared to be insufficiently trained, which at times affected efficiency and service quality. Room cleanliness was acceptable but could be improved. In addition, the sliding door lock to the balcony was broken, which may pose a potential safety concern and should be addressed promptly. Overall, this hotel may be a reasonable option for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location over higher service standards and room condition.

We had a room with two double beds and an AC, this was perfect for our family of 4. We landed in Sri Lanka at 9 pm and just needed to place to sleep before we officially began our holiday. The lady working at the frontdesk was very kind. We also got bottled water in the room, which was amazing since we did not stop at a shop before heading there. We arrived at night and left again in the morning, so we are not sure if there are shops or restaurants around this area.

The hotel is in a great beachfront location with a decent size pool and plenty of restaurants to explore by foot. I ate dinner in-house once which was good and arrived quickly. The room I had booked was fan-only and fine for me. Breakfast was great and staff went out of their way to fulfill my expectations. I received a kettle as I stayed 8 nights and wanted to drink tea on my balcony. The most notable aspect really is the friendliness of the entire team. Everyone is really genuinely pleasant and made me feel at home.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, providing useful tips about local places to eat and things to do in the city. Check-in was smooth and the overall atmosphere felt safe. The price was great for what you get — a simple, no-frills place to rest while exploring Colombo. I’d recommend this hostel to budget travelers and backpackers looking for a friendly and affordable stay.

Fiz a reserva para o dia errado e mesmo assim me receberam com todo atenção e disponibilidade. A cama é maravilhosa e o banheiro muito bom. Vista boa para o jardim. Boa localização, perto de restaurante e mercado. Recomendo e voltaria novamente.
