We picked this hotel to stay at as it only opened recently. Things were fine at the start; the lobby was clean, brightly lit, and well attended to. Walking into the room revealed a fresh-looking fit-out and smooth, laundered sheets. The only thing is the room smelled faintly tainted by cigarette, the type that lingers. Though we booked non-smoking, someone had clearly smoked in there previously. What was really disappointing was the air conditioning. We had the temp set to 21 degrees the whole night, and it never dipped below 25 WITH 70% humidity. Changing the modes did nothing, and the air that came out smelled musty and mouldy. Opening the window helped a little, but it also invited in mosquitoes, all of which are ingredients for a great night’s sleep. We informed the front desk three times that night and were initially told it could only cool 5 degrees below room temp, but they later admitted the central air conditioning unit wasn’t even running—presumably to save costs. When we returned at around 5:45 on the second day, the room hadn’t been tidied and the sheets and towels weren’t changed over. We discovered this too late to change hotels and were too tired from the day’s travels, so we had to endure another night in the sauna. These issues alone make it hard to recommend, despite the nice laundry and gym facilities. Tip for future travellers:Before booking, call ahead and confirm the central air conditioning is actually running. We went through four other hotels before finding one that had it on—apparently turning it off to save costs is more common than you’d think.

Insgesamt ist es in Ordnung, der Preis stimmt und es ist kostengünstig. Jeder Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat eine tolle Einstellung. Das Einzige ist, dass der Raum etwas klein ist, da sich nur die Hälfte des Fensters am Fußende befindet. Die Schalldämmung des Zimmers ist schlecht, man hört das Flüstern neben sich. A Home Away From Home for Families I have stayed in three different hotels across various cities in China so far, but the staff service and hospitality at the Borrman Hotel Yiwu is truly next-level. They set a professional standard that is hard to match. I was traveling with my young child, and the entire team—from the front desk to housekeeping and management—went completely out of their way to make us feel welcome. Every single time we came downstairs, the staff would play with my kid and shower them with so much love, affection, and gifts like candies, chocolates, fruits, and toys (which we are happily carrying back with us to India!). A few special shout-outs to the incredible team members who made our stay unforgettable: Wendy & Quinn: They provided out-of-the-box support when we completely ran out of diapers late in the evening. Finding none nearby, they personally took it upon themselves to arrange and get them for us. That is true dedication to guest comfort. Sherry: Because the hotel is conveniently located near the busy market, Sherry thoughtfully upgraded our room to a much quieter area so my baby could sleep peacefully without any noise disruption. Hanling & Juan Juan: They helped us figure out multiple things during our stay and handled everything with grace. They took such amazing care of my child, playing with them every time we passed through the lobby. Ping Ping & the Housekeeping Team: Ping Ping and another wonderful lady in housekeeping (whose name I unfortunately missed) provided flawless, top-tier service every day. The location is absolutely perfect if you are visiting the market, but it is the genuine warmth and pro-level hospitality of the staff that makes this place a gem. I will absolutely, without a doubt, stay only at this property every single time I visit Yiwu. Thank you, Borrman Hotel team, for taking such incredible care of my family!

We originally expected to stay at this hotel for only one night, but it turned into a 5 days and 4 nights stay, and overall it was a good experience. The location was very convenient, especially for visiting Yiwu International Trade Market District 4–5. There were also many local restaurants nearby, making it easy to find food and explore the area. The hotel felt very safe, as guests needed to use the room key card to activate the elevator. The room was exactly the same as shown in the pictures and was very clean upon arrival. One thing I did not like was that smoking was allowed for some guests, and occasionally the cigarette smell came into the room at nighttime when trying to sleep. The hotel also had useful facilities, including a laundry room with three washing machines and a treadmill for exercise. There was a free coffee machine near the check-in counter, which was a nice extra touch. In addition, the hotel provided an amenities kit during check-in, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a good location and helpful facilities.

This is our 3rd stay here, and we keep coming back for a reason. The location is perfect — just steps from the main shopping district, with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. But the real highlight is the guest service. The staff are incredibly prompt, attentive, and genuinely helpful with every request. A special shoutout to the kind uncle on the team who went above and beyond for us. His warmth made our stay feel like home. Wishing the entire hotel staff continued health and happiness. We enjoyed our stay so much!! The receptionists are friendly and helpful to us! The hotel is very clean, the room is spacious, there are restaurants and shops nearby so location is very strategic. It is in front of a park, and the park is very lively. It only takes 20 mintus to the Yiwu International Trade Market by taxi or Didi, 15 minutes on foot to Yiwu Place Mall, 10 minutes on foot to Yiwu Smile Mall, and many more. Breakfast is delicious as well. Will definitely choose this hotel again if I were back to Yiwu. Thank you!

This hotel stands a short walk from Yiwu International Trade City, ideal for business trips. Rooms are spotlessly clean with soft beds. Staff are warm and efficient at check-in. Wir verbrachten ein paar Tage dort. Die Internetgeschwindigkeit im Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber die Computer waren katastrophal. Da wir zu zweit vier Computer nutzten, stürzten diese ständig mit Bluescreens ab. Jedes Mal mussten wir auf einen anderen Computer wechseln. Der Service hingegen war ausgezeichnet; die Mitarbeiter waren immer zur Stelle, wenn wir sie brauchten. Das Hotel verfügt über eine zentrale Klimaanlage. Seien Sie daher vorsichtig bei der Hotelwahl während des Jahreszeitenwechsels. An unserem ersten Tag stieg die Temperatur im Zuge des Temperaturwechsels plötzlich an. Die Klimaanlage lief bis zum Abend, und im Zimmer waren es immer noch 32 Grad Celsius. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht (der Hauptmotor war aus, daher kühlte sie nicht). Wir riefen den Kundenservice an, und man riet uns, die Fenster zum Lüften zu öffnen… Wir haben die ganze Nacht kein Auge zugetan.
