Just had a quick transit stay near Fuzhou Airport, and it was awesome! The hotel is a great deal—plus, they surprised me with complementary airport pickup and drop-off, which was super handy. There are tons of restaurants within 500m walking distance, so you’re covered from breakfast to midnight supper. Big shoutout to the front desk crew—木子, 可可, and 小六—they were really friendly and helpful. If you’re stuck for a transit flight in Fuzhou overnight, definitely book this place!

酒店位置較偏，門口有公交車站，但是很久都等不到，價格一點不比市裡低。房間比較大，設施也都齊全，就是服務明顯跟不上，枕套都沒洗乾淨，早餐品類少，麪包片乾巴巴的，牛奶像摻了水。送的中晚飯沒吃，估計也一般。房間裏的新風系統真的很雞肋，開了一晚上温度衹升高了1度，室內温度不到20度，怕冷的人很受罪。春節選擇住這裏大概都是要去看遊神的吧，其實如果能早起完全可以住市裡，各方麪條件好一些。

Es ist mein Nichte und ich habe den ersten Besuch in China und wir suchten ein Zimmer in der Nähe des Fuzhou International Airport (FOC). Wir waren in Fujian zu einem anderen Nichte, die an der lokalen Universität studiert. Dank Trip.com fanden wir das Liwan Hotel und wir wurden eine schöne Suite mit 2 Doppelbetten und 2 Badezimmer mit Duschen gegeben, ich war erstaunt von der schönen Dekoration und Möbel des Hotels. Wir reservierten für 3 Nächte und die We Chat App war sehr hilfreich in der Übersetzung, da keiner von uns Chinesisch sprach. Es gab keine Mahlzeiten, aber es gab eine Reihe von Empfehlungen, wir hatten leckere authentische chinesische Frühstück von der Lady direkt gegenüber dem Hotel. Wir gingen in die Stadt zum Mittagessen und Abendessen und würden online bestellen, wenn wir etwas anderes wollen. Der Shuttle zum Flughafen ist verfügbar und wir schätzen die Pflege und Aufmerksamkeit des Hotelbesitzes. Ich würde wieder in Liwan bleiben und würde es den zukünftigen Besuchern sehr empfehlen. Es ist sehr erschwinglich, sauber, vom Flughafen und den Hauptstraßen zugänglich.

CCora2023My room was very cozy (backyard view), and the whole hotel is absolutely charming, conveniently placed in the main street.
Probably because of the Golden Week holidays, there was loud music on the streets - and also noisy children in the hotel at quite late hours, I regret that the staff did not ask the parents to silence them as much as possible :) Breakfast is Chinese classic but good.
(About the city)
However, if you expect a real ”Ancient City”, this city is not the right one, all buildings (nice ones by the way) are all recent buildings, in a ”Ancient” style. So, comparing to the actual real cities of the island (quite ugly), it's cute, but it's all fake. The main street is full of tourist's expensive restaurants with waiters waiting for you outside and calling you. You might prefer to walk by the side streets, which are quite nice and quiet (lovely lighting at night).
Don't bother going to the nearest beach, it's a dump.
But if you are looking for a lovely place to rest and chill, the stay at the hotel was great !

GGuest User Lives in ChinaHonestly one of the nicest stays I have had in China. Came here for a writing retreat - such an amazing spot! Lovely sunrises, sunsets and nice walks nearby. Very quiet and rural feel - not many people around but great amenities (good coffee shop and restaurant, scooter rental). Staff were all extremely friendly and went out of their way to make my stay exceptional. Breakfast was great for a free breakfast. Don’t recommend going to “chase the blue tears” though unless they are a high level of density - not worth it. Better to just stay and enjoy the peace and tranquility nearby the hotel.

GGastnutzerWonderful service and experience from the start to the finish. The staff went out of their way to ensure that our family were comfortable. The home from home service was exactly what was needed when looking for a chilled beach holiday. The hotel was close to the main beach Longwangtou (Less than 10 minutes by taxi. Also it is close to Pingtan railway if you want a convenient trip into Fuzhou city.
The rooms were very clean, there is a jacuzzi in the garden. The manager and staff were very attentive.
I would certainly recommend it and book again next time!

DDesmilA well-located hotel with clean rooms and an interesting touch—robots moving around! It’s easy to get around thanks to the nearby subway, though reaching the city center takes an extra 20–30 minutes.
The cleaning lady was especially friendly and did a great job. The hotel provides all the necessary amenities, like towels and toiletries.
A few things could be improved. The reception area could be more welcoming, and sometimes there was trash lying around. When I asked for an extra water bottle, I was told the room already had one, even though I had finished mine the day before—it felt like an unnecessary hassle. Also, the shower had a drainage issue, but the hotel fixed it quickly.
For those who like everything to look brand new, the bedhead area was scratched and looked worn, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, the room was well-maintained.
Overall, a good hotel for a short stay.
