The decor from the outside of the hotel does not match the inside. The outside is somewhat old but the rooms itself are great. Lots of space and very new. The family enjoy their stay apart from some excessive noise from what I assume is karaoke above which can be heard from our room.

Fantastic visit to Maitu Hotel. I extended my stay several times while I was here. Great food nearby, very welcoming staff and a comfortable clean bed 😀 Looking forward to coming back soon

Overall, the comfortable ambience, along with the cozy bed and pillows, ensured a relaxing and restful night's sleep. The hotel’s breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection of authentic local dishes as well as freshly brewed coffee for guests who enjoy starting their day with a cup of coffee. The hotel's strategic location is another major highlight. Numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and hawker stalls are situated within walking distance, offering plenty of dining options. There is also a local market just behind the hotel, where guests can enjoy authentic local food and browse a variety of shops. In addition, a large shopping mall is located approximately 1.5 km away, making it easily accessible on foot and providing a convenient place to find everything you need. Transportation is very convenient, with taxis and ride-hailing services such as DiDi readily available from the hotel to various destinations. However, one drawback is that the hotel shares the building with commercial lots, and the soundproofing could be improved. Noise from people talking in the corridors and surrounding areas could be clearly heard, even as early as 5:00 a.m., which occasionally disturbed the stay. Despite the minor issue with noise, my overall experience was very positive and well worth the price paid. The hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I would also gladly choose to stay here again on my next trip to China.

I had many hotels on my business trip across China, and I would definitely recommend this place to stay. 1 - good location, the city generally is not for travelers in my opinion, but there are few places where you can go nearby the hotel. 2 - essential clearness and rooms are brand new. 3 - facilities like gym (not bad, but mostly machines without free weights equipment) and pool tables. 4 - nice service, we haven't faced with any problems. The room is big and spacious and worth the nightly price. The check in process was convenient and notably the shower is very good. My only gripe is the lights are not very bright so the room is quite dark at night even with full lighting. Also some mosquitoes were irritating to deal with.
