2-Sterne-Hotels in Pacific Grove

The location was good, a short walk to Asilomar Beach which is a wonderful coastal trail with deer, bunnies & lots of birds in the early morning (before 7am). Was a bit disappointed that no bottled water was available in the room, and the lobby was locked before 8am and after 9pm when we wanted to get a drink. The coffee maker has water tasting of coffee, which is not ideal for non-coffee drinkers like myself. Toothbrushes not provided. My emails prior to the stay went unanswered. It was suggested that we pay $20 for laundry, and we had to ask multiple times where they either told us it was too early / too late and then to look for housekeeping to ask on our own. Night time is quiet but day time is noisy once housekeeping commences, and in the afternoon we had several calls and knocks on our door from housekeeping when we were trying to rest. They did not wait for us to answer but kept calling. I'm likely to choose a different place for future stays. There are several in this same location that are not as costly. I only chose this because the reviews seemed great.

Es war nach neun Uhr, als wir im Hotel ankamen, und das Büro war geschlossen. Denken Sie daran, das Büro vorher anzurufen. Die Zimmernummer und die Schlüsselkarte werden in einem eisernen Briefkasten neben der Bürotür hinterlassen. Es ist leicht zu sehen. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr günstig und auch der selbstfahrende Supermarkt ist ganz in der Nähe. Der von mir festgelegte Preis ist hier wahrscheinlich nicht teuer und ich denke, er ist ziemlich gut.

We had a lovely stay at the Rosedale. We loved the jacuzzi bath and the fire in the room. They both made for a cozy stay. It was quiet and comfortable and the receptionists were both really friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again.

Awesome Lage, sehr sauber und nett Leute haben uns angemeldet. Der einzige Rückzug war Frühstück ...wäre einige gesündere Optionen bevorzugt. Kaffee war großartig!
