Ausstattung: Es gab ausreichend Toiletten und Duschen; ich musste während meines zweitägigen Aufenthalts nirgends anstehen. Haartrockner waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Sauberkeit: Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, und die Badezimmer wurden regelmäßig von einer Reinigungskraft gesäubert. Umgebung: Die Lage ist hervorragend, nur fünf Gehminuten von der U-Bahn-Station entfernt, und Essen zum Mitnehmen zu bestellen ist sehr bequem. Die Anlage ist gut durchdacht, mit separaten Ruhe- und Entspannungsbereichen, die sich nicht gegenseitig stören. Die Zimmer waren ruhig, und die Gemeinschaftsräume waren gemütlich! Service: Die Rezeptionisten waren super nett! Sie halfen mir sogar mit meinem Gepäck, als sie mich zu meinem Zimmer brachten! Sie reagierten sehr schnell! Kostenloses Obst wurde in den Gemeinschaftsräumen regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Ich bin von diesem Hotel begeistert! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Eine wirklich unvergessliche Erfahrung über die Gastfreundschaft hinaus Wir hatten den wunderschönsten Aufenthalt im Yunxi Yasu, Designer Cinema Homestay Hotel, und es begann alles mit dem unglaublichen Gästeservice. Wenn es kurze Verspätung bei unseren Zimmern aufgrund eines technischen Problems war, hat der Eigentümer persönlich um uns gekümmert. Sie begrüßte uns so herzlich, brachte uns Tee und Snacks, und sogar zum Mittagessen und stellte sicher, dass wir uns bequem waren, während wir in ihrem Büro warten. Sie hat uns auch dabei geholfen, Taxis zu organisieren und uns echte Unterstützung und Hilfe zu geben, ohne etwas zu erwarten, um zu gewinnen. In der heutigen schnellen Welt ist es unglaublich selten, jemanden so egoistisch und ehrlich zu finden. Wir sind ihr und dem gesamten Personal sehr dankbar. Die Zimmer selbst waren spotless, frisch, geräumig und ästhetisch angenehm mit traditionellen chinesischen Dekorationen und Spaß Kalligraphie-Tools, die uns schreiben lassen. Die Hausaufbewahrung wurde täglich durchgeführt, mit sauberen Handtüchern und Toiletten ersetzt jeden Tag. Das Hotel verfügte über alle notwendigen Einrichtungen und alles war gut gepflegt. Die Aussicht vom Hotel war wunderschön, zusätzlich zu der allgemeinen friedlichen Atmosphäre. Alle, die wir im Hotel getroffen haben, waren freundlich und hilfreich. Zum Zeitpunkt, zu dem wir verlassen, hatten wir bereits die Entscheidung getroffen, in Zukunft zurückzukehren. Wir hatten eine solche positive Erfahrung, und wir empfehlen dieses Hotel sehr an alle Ausländer oder Reisenden, die das Gebiet besuchen.

Dieses Aufenthaltserlebnis ist besonders komfortabel und über die Erwartungen hinaus. Die Lage des Ladens ist sehr bequem zu reisen und es ist bequem, umgeben von Essen und Trinken zu spielen. Overall, an okay hotel to stay in for a night or two as the location is relatively convenient yet quiet, the beds are comfortable (some hotels in China have rock-hard beds and pillows, not everyone likes that!), and the price isn’t super high. However, there are better hotels for a similar price if you look for them. My main issues were the bathroom, and a discrepancy between the room I booked based on the Trip pictures, and the room I was actually given. Pros: Service: The hotel staff (both front desk and housekeeping) were really friendly and helpful, and were proactive asking other guests to be quiet during quiet hours at night. The room itself was quite clean. Facilities: The bed was really comfortable, and the room seemed well-kept and renovated within the last few years. Location: Close-ish to a metro station (although the sidewalks in Nanjing are impossible with large suitcases, it is walkable if you don’t have too much luggage), and the area was not too noisy at night. Cons: Service: I booked the ‘Deluxe King Outer Window’ room, but the room in the pictures when you book is not what you will get. I was instead put in the smaller, cheaper ‘Comfortable Big Bedroom’, despite paying more for the other room type. I was even given a ‘free upgrade’ to the ‘Deluxe King Outer Window’ room on my first night, and then asked to move to the smaller room type after one night! The difference is tiny if you only stay a night or two, but I needed to be in Nanjing for 12 nights so it added up to a big cost difference. The hotel should use accurate pictures when booking, because I felt a bit deceived, and the size difference between the rooms was noticeable. Another review says the same happened to them, so either the hotel has a habit of upcharging, or they have misleading pictures and need to make them accurate so everyone is on the same page. I didn’t say anything at the time as it was hard for me to move rooms, but I should have asked them to clarify. Facilities: The linens (towels, sheets etc.) had some small rips in them, and the towels were quite small. The bathroom was not very clean (e.g. the metal parts of the shower, the toilet). I knew this already, but it is a wetroom, and I always forget how bad they are to use. The entire bathroom gets soaked easily even if you’re trying to be careful, which put me off showering. The drains smelt incredibly bad, and the only way to stop the smell was to run the shower for a few minutes, and after a few minutes of no water they would stink again. It is a common problem in China, but this one was worse than some. Again, it put me off using the bathroom at all, and could probably be fixed easily by installing drain covers or traps.

Location The hotel is near Dongliu Station, but you need to walk about 3 blocks (15 minutes). The walk is flat, but in July and August it can get very hot, so bring an umbrella. The area is quiet and feels isolated. Although the hotel is not far from Nanjing University Xianlin Campus, there is no direct train, you need to change lines and make an awkward turn. Shared bikes (Hello blue bikes) are convenient in Xianlin, but not around this hotel. A good option is to take the B3 shuttle bus from Sanyang Road, which goes to Nanjing University train station (walking distance to NJU). Around the hotel, you will find small eateries (like chicken and duck rice shops) and a few convenience stores, but no malls. Cleanliness The rooms are clean, but there is a smoke smell that stays for about a day. The staff suggested opening the window and using the aircon, but I also bought a reed diffuser from Miniso to make it smell fresher. Bedsheets were changed regularly (every 5 days). The toilet slippers looked dirty, so I did not use them. Also, the hotel does not provide floor towels. Staff & Service The staff were very kind and helpful. They upgraded me to a bigger double room with a sofa and work area, and also gave me a cheaper rate since I stayed for 40 nights. Cleaning staff came daily, bringing bottled water and keeping the toilet clean. The night-shift counter staff were also helpful. Facilities There is a washing machine that can wash and dry in one cycle. Do not overload it, or clothes won’t dry properly. Since the hotel is not very busy, I could use the machine anytime without queuing. Rooms have a hair dryer and a lighted mirror. The aircon makes a small dripping sound, but it is not a real problem. Noise The soundproofing is generally okay, but occasionally you can hear people talking loudly if there are guests next door. It’s not the hotel’s fault—just that people in China often speak very loudly, even inside their rooms or in the corridor. Nothing much you can do about it. Surroundings & Safety The area is safe, with big roads and many residential apartments. In the evenings, families with kids and dogs walk around, and I also jogged nearby. Food delivery is easy drivers can bring food to your room or the counter. Overall It is a quiet and safe place to stay, with helpful staff and decent facilities. The location is not very convenient for NJU Xianlin Campus, but manageable if you use the shuttle bus.

This hostel changed the idea I had of a great hostel! SEE OTHER REVIEWS FOR COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING CHECK-IN/STAFF: Simple & easy. There is a language barrier with most of the staff, but it's nothing a little patience, on both ends, and a translator can't fix. I was helped to my room with my bags. I personally enjoyed the staff and especially one of the cleaning ladies. She was truly a joy to see every day and seemed like she genuinely liked seeing me. They helped when my food order had issues, twice. I was helped getting I was running late for my train on check-out morning. ROOMS/FACILITIES: Comfortable, clean and curtain for the beds. I the rooms are reasonably spacious. The average person follows the general quiet in the rooms so you can sleep peacefully any time you want. The blanket is thick, some beds have extra little hooks. (Would be nice if they added them for all beds) Pillows are decent, towel and locker provided. Beds have North American & Chinese style plugs. The entire outlet system of the building seems to be that way. AMENITIES/GOOD TO KNOW Laundry detergent, toothbrush/toothpaste individually wrapped units and earplugs provided at no cost. Towel/bed sheet change upon request is offered if stay is 3+ days. The main lobby toilets are used buy restaurants guests from next door. The is security at night (not personally for the hostel, for the alley) Private homes are across the way so keep the volume low to quiet after 10pm. OVERALL/PERSONAL THOUGHTS ” I would recommend staying here for a short or long period. Excellent valut for dollars. I felt very welcomed, comfortable & overall relaxed. My only real complaint is the lack of fridge,microwave and a sink area. As a budget traveler it can get costly having to order or go out for every meal is super inconvenient. To be fair, you can ask for your items to be placed in the staff fridge at the bar. The downside is having to wait and ask for staff to get it for me. This was super frustrating when I wanted my food and had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to finally be able to do it. Not to mention the general inconvenience of not being able to go to a fridge at will. Even though there's a laundry area upstairs, many people will do laundry in the sinks leaving the bathroom floors constantly wet and countertops soaked. Not management's fault but could possibly be addressed in the rules. There are days where a gentleman will come sit outside the hostel or the general alley area with Barky McBarkerson his incredibly annoying dog that's constantly barking at everyone and everything. When they're directly on the property hanging out infront don't even think of enjoying the fresh air peacefully . I think there's a way for management to address bothersome behavior to their guest. IMO if management could somehow provide a common fridge and a microwave, they would be close to top tier hostel all things considered. Review based on multiple stays. Enjoy

Cleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom. Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min). Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door. One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person. After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service. Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.

Da ich mit Freunden in der Nähe von Xinjiekou gegessen habe, übernachtete ich vorübergehend in diesem Hotel und buchte ein Minizimmer, was sehr kostengünstig war. Obwohl der Raum klein ist, ist die Ausstattung vollständig. Das Badezimmer ist von Nass und Trocken getrennt, hat ein Fenster und die Umgebung ist in Ordnung. Die U-Bahn ist bequem zu erreichen und vor allem günstig. Ein geeigneter Ort für eine vorübergehende Übernachtung!
