2-Sterne-Hotels in Deqin

Firstly, this has to be one of the nicest places which I stayed at in Yunnan, or in China for that matter. You may be thinking that is price is good to be true, but this place performs well above what is to be expected of that price range. I was originally planning to stay elsewhere in Benzilan, but am very glad that I stayed here. The rooms are super spacious with high ceilings and wooden furniture. The view out of my window was very green and calming. The amenities were all well-maintained and very clean. The pictures really don't do the rooms the justice that they deserve. Secondly, and very importantly, the owner - a young Benzilan local who operates the hotel with his mother - is exceptionally kind, genuine and friendly. As a solo traveller, he helped organise transport, offered lunch, and even some of the local liquor. As far as service goes, this place remains unbeaten amongst all the places I've travelled in China. The hotel overlooks the mountains surrounding Benzilan. In the evening, you can peacefully sit outside the hotel on its elevated terrace and quietly watch the mountains as the sun goes down. I would not hesitate to stay again.

When I travel, I always look at reviews before booking. After extensive research, this place came up to be the most highly rated. Even though it wasn’t located as well as the other hotels (i will address why this is not a problem later). Firstly, the decor was beautifully Tibetan-themed. We got our room upgraded for free. This accommodation is new, so the facilities are extremely modern, with floor heating, smart-room features, and the most advanced toilet bidet system ever! There’s washing and even drying features, first time I’ve ever seen in a toilet! Secondly, the service was top-notch. The owner offers to drive you to the sunrise viewing platform, which is about 3 minutes drive away, and even offers to drive you to stargaze at night! This was certainly not expected, which I think the owner had done very well in. There’s even a small fitness corner if you’re interested in working out. All in all, this was one of my favourite stays in Yunnan!

The room was new and clean. But the star of the show was the hosts.They were really kind and gave us lots of good tips and shared tea and snacks with us at the fireplace.

Das Hotel liegt fantastisch mit Blick auf die wunderschönen, schneebedeckten Berge. Vom Zimmer aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Baima-Schneeberg, und der Sonnenaufgang ist einfach atemberaubend. Das Hotel stellte freundlicherweise elektrische Decken und eine Heizung zur Verfügung. Vielen Dank dafür! Einziger Nachteil: Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug. Das Treppensteigen über vier Etagen war anstrengend, besonders in der Höhe, und wir litten unter Höhenkrankheit. Die nette Rezeptionistin half uns jedoch mit unserem Gepäck, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren. Wir blieben zufrieden und setzten unsere Reise fort.

Das Zimmer war in gutem Zustand und sehr sauber, mit Einweghandtüchern. Besonders leistungsstark sind die Elektroheizung und Heizdecke im Zimmer! Es ist superwarm, man kann kurze Ärmel tragen und im Haus herumlaufen, was so selten ist. Sein Haus hat drei Besonderheiten: 1. Die unschlagbare Aussicht. Es ist so schön, im Zimmer zu liegen und auf die schneebedeckten Berge zu blicken! 2 Es gibt 6 Katzen, sehr süß und anhänglich 3 Neben der B&B-Unterkunft gibt es auch ein Restaurant. Auch Pfannengerichte sind lecker, empfehlenswert!

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, direkt gegenüber der Bushaltestelle des Feilai-Tempels. Von der Aussichtsplattform sind es nur wenige hundert Meter. Das Hotel ist relativ groß und verfügt über eine komplette Ausstattung. Auch die Damen an der Rezeption sind begeistert. Das kleine Zimmer zum Sonderpreis besteht nur aus einem Bett an der Wand. Der Platz ist zwar klein, aber das separate Badezimmer ist komplett. Wenn Sie eine kostengünstige Unterkunft suchen, können Sie diese Zimmerkategorie trotzdem ausprobieren.

Das Zimmer ist ein Panoramazimmer mit Blick auf die schneebedeckten Berge, und Sie können die schneebedeckten Berge sehen, während Sie auf dem Bett liegen. Es gibt eine Heizung und einen Luftbefeuchter und der Raum ist warm. Nach mehrmaliger Kommunikation mit dem Chef und der Wahl eines Tages mit gutem Wetter konnte ich den goldenen Berg wie gewünscht in der Sonne sehen. Obwohl wir die schneebedeckten Berge vom Zimmer und vom Dach aus sehen können, ist der Blick immer noch nicht so schön, wie wenn wir sie von der Aussichtsplattform des Feilai-Tempels bewundern würden. Wir eilten trotzdem zur Aussichtsplattform, um die schneebedeckten Berge zu sehen. Das Hotel liegt nicht weit von der Aussichtsplattform entfernt, nur wenige Minuten entfernt.

Just to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain. Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather. The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time. One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit. All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.

Oben regnete es und vom Zimmer aus konnte man die schneebedeckten Berge sehen, was eine tolle Aussicht war. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich gut, aber das Badezimmer ist etwas alt und ich hoffe, dass es verbessert werden kann. Zum Frühstück ist es eine gute Wahl, vor der Wanderung eine Schüssel zu sich zu nehmen.

Wir liefen nachmittags von Yubeng bis fast neun Uhr abends, als wir im Hotel ankamen. Wir fühlten uns, als gehörten uns unsere Beine nicht, also checkten wir schnell ein. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos. Das heiße Wasser war stark genug für eine angenehme Dusche. Das Zimmer war in gutem Zustand. Der Preis war selbst in der Hochsaison günstig.
