Hotel Akbar at Dal Lake Ghat Number 1

We had a great stay at Akbar, the hotel was right next to the Dal Lake and the view was awesome, They have a great team with them for housekeeping, cooking and hospitality. Keep up the wood work guys and waiting for the inauguration of your new pro.

The accommodation and food was excellent.The staff and owner Mr Dawood and Mr Sadiq are very helpful and polite.They helped us like family members when our relative met with an accident.l would definitely stay there again in my next Kashmir trip

I am delighted to stay at this hotel. Their attitude to customers is excellent. Restaurant and service attracts me much. Srinagar staying in this hotel is memorable. They advise me where to go. Accordingly I went some Offbeat places of kashmir and was charmed.

Their hosting is very very nice They are giving “Tasty and Quality Food” We got “Excellent Experience “ with their Hosting and enjoyed with “ Trmple trip & DAAL LAKE SHIKARA RIDE. I recommend people to come to Kashmir and will recommend my friend also.

First of all, this hotel and several other hotels have not registered them in booking sites such as MMT,Yatra etc.So when you try to book through these sites, it shows hotels sold out for these dates.But you have to directly call to these hotels to do your bookings. But don’t book this hotel.There is no direct road to this property. You have to walk for approx. 100 meters from main road,even autos will not reach to this hotel.But the owner will say, you will enjoy the walking besides dal lake,but in the name of dal lake there are some small shops and a very little part of dal lake is on the way.You will find many hotels facing Dal Lake with this price.This hotel is not facing Dal Lake.The rooms are full of mosquitos.They will not serve you any snack items and also there is no menu in the hotel. I had requested so many times for just a plate of pakora, one evening they provided after telling excuses that only one cook is there preparing dinner and on other day they simply denied that they can not provide the same. You have to eat as per their choice of meals and at their convenient time. The owner is staying in the hotel premises, and a gentleman by talking. But not providing any assistance at required time.Room amenities are bare minimum and food is not worth.They has tieup with travel agencies and if you wish they can arrange for the same.
