They gave me a very lovely room with good view, so I enjoyed a lot. Checking in is quick and all IHG member can get a chance to earn a reward by a lucky wheel.

Nice hotel, parking facilities available in the hotel. Foods were delicious at the restaurant.

No slippers provide and not easy to buy nearby

Good location. Small clean room. In and out paid parking was OK. Complimentary breakfast was good (although service lacked customers focus). Would have loved to have a pool. Internet worked fine.

The location is close to Central Station but not a lot right nearby. Cleanliness - problem. Picture shows blood stains on pillowcase. Day we arrived, bathroom trash was full from previous inhabitants. Next day, they made the beds but my pillows were in the floor. Room coffee cups never washed or replaced.

If you have things planned within Brisbane CBD then this is the best hotel for you. Amenities and facilities are all basic but they got everything you need for a comfortable stay. Buffet breakfast is almost the same each day but they serve good coffee anyway. Their gym is also open 24 hours a day if you wamt to squeeze in a little workout in between your trip.

Very happy with this hotel. It is located about 6-8 minutes' walk from Central station where the Airtrain stops and many other regional trains stop as well. Also striking distance from the CBD with many dining options during the day, though the area becomes quite quiet come 7pm or so. Room is clean, of a decent size. Breakfast, which I believe is included in most rates, is also fairly good, with at least 3 hot dishes on rotation and the usual continental breakfast options (the croissants they procure are really good!) Recommended if you get a decent rare (A$160-180 is a good rate).

Hotel is conveniently located. Front desk has given very good service and friendly staff. Housekeeping is always inconsistent. Never wash cups, hand towels missing on one day and floor bath mat missing the next day. Tea bags not refilled, etc. cleanliness needs to be improved, many stains in the sink and tables. Overall would give it 3.5.

Poor service overall, with a staff member being quite rude, and room housekeeping not done on two of the days. This was despite assurances the second time that it would definitely be done. Management appeared disinterested in taking these issues seriously, which has put me off staying at Holiday Inn Express in the future. Positives are a good location that is reasonably close to the city but far enough out to be much quieter, and the very good included breakfast.
