The Crown Inn in Groombridge is a must-visit for anyone looking for a great dining experience. The menu is beautifully conceived and prepared, with dishes that were fresh and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is great, the servers are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The Crown Inn is not just a restaurant, it's an experience. Don't miss out on this hidden treasure!

We got a recommendation to eat here for lunch. Hot day sat outside. Pub dates back to 1585 so the building has steps uneven floors low ceilings etc. amazing history. Large order on a Saturday and we gave them no notice. Variety of requests and every type of dietary requirement appears to be covered here. Reasonable priced. Food arrived efficiently. They allow you to eat here and then settle afterward. Have a lockable box to store bank card where you hold the key. The variety and quality of food was amazing. I expect as a freehold independent free to make own choices this is what allows so much creativity. The beer was local and very fresh. No one left anything on plates. To read some of the dated reviews on here would put someone off I say come down and try it for yourselves. We are coming back next year for sure if not sooner.
