Zuerst die schlechten Punkte.
Ich machte mir zum ersten Mal in Südafrika Sorgen, also kontaktierte ich Marriott direkt und bat ihn, mich am Flughafen abzuholen. Ich musste alleine mit dem Taxi auf einem fremden Land zum Hotel fahren. Natürlich habe ich reklamiert, aber der Grund war erfrischend. Ich weiß nicht, ob Sie sich entschuldigen, aber Sie können es am Tag des Check-outs kostenlos an den Flughafen senden.
Von hier aus ist es ein guter Punkt, aber ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die Sicherheit rund um die Marriott Crystal Towers in Kapstadt sehr gut ist. Von der Brücke hinter dem Hotel gelangen Sie direkt zum Einkaufszentrum Canal Walk. Ich konnte relativ ruhig bleiben, daher empfehle ich es, wenn Sie sich um Sicherheit kümmern.
Der Pool ist klein, aber man kann den Tafelberg sehen. Allerdings war das Wasser im Pool zu kalt.
Es gibt viele Arten von Frühstück und alles, was Sie trinken können, und Sie können es mit nach Hause nehmen. Übrigens, Japaner haben überhaupt nicht kommuniziert.

Excellent in every way. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. Wonderful stay, very impressed and would definitely use again as my first choice if in Cape Town. Excellent location with Mall 5 minute walk away and town, waterfront, Plumstead all only £5 taxi ride away (working on 22 ZAR to £) Thank you once more would highly recommend.

GGuest UserErstmals auf diesem Grundstück zu bleiben. Große Erfahrung. Von der freundlichen und willkommenen Personalcheck bis zum hilfsbereiten und ewig bereit, das zusätzliche Frühstückspersonal zu gehen. Die Lage des Hotels und die Ansichten machen es aussehen, wie Sie in einem anderen Land sind. Sehr sichere Lage des Hotels. Gehstrecke zum Canal-Wandern. Wäre definitiv empfehlen und wird sicher in Zukunft wieder zu diesem Grundstück zurückkehren.

I recently stayed at the Colosseum Luxury Hotel in Cape Town, and I can confidently say it was one of the most disgusting experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel. The room was infested with cockroaches—I managed to catch and kill two, but many more scattered. It was horrifying to think I had to sleep in such an unhygienic environment. To make matters worse, I checked in late after attending a wedding, exhausted and just wanting to rest. Instead, I spent the night feeling completely uncomfortable, worried that cockroaches would crawl over me. It was impossible to relax knowing the room was clearly not properly cleaned or maintained. When I tried to call reception to report the issue, my calls wouldn’t go through because the staff member on duty was busy on the phone. I had to physically walk down to reception just to get any assistance. Additionally, the cupboard doors were broken, causing the lights to stay on all night. When someone finally arrived to assist, they admitted they were not from maintenance or housekeeping, meaning nothing was properly fixed. This is not what anyone expects from a so-called ”luxury” hotel. The cleanliness standards are absolutely unacceptable, and it’s clear that this is an infestation issue, not just an isolated incident. I have photos of the cockroaches I managed to catch, proving how bad the situation was. If cleanliness and hygiene are even remotely important to you, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this hotel. I would never return, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
