Wellnesshotels in Hue

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

The hotel is relatively new and well maintained. The only thing that I didn't like was the shower is not instant heat water heater. So you need to wait for the hot water and there's limited supply of hot water. Others are all very good. Breakfast is beyond my expectations for a small hotel, with diversified food choice. The staff are very helpful. They have drivers and cars that you can book. The driver is very friendly and speaks some English. We used the da nang to hue transfer and a day tour in Hue with airport drop off. Was very pleasent experience with the driver. The view on the terrace is also very good.

Wenn ich noch einmal nach Vietnam zurückkomme, wäre dies der Ort, an den ich am liebsten zurückkehren würde, um dort zu leben. Es ist sehr ruhig, das Hotelpersonal ist super freundlich, es ist neu und perfekt und es gibt einige kostenlose Massageangebote, obwohl ich sie nicht genutzt habe, habe ich mich trotzdem wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist sehr praktisch, im Hotel einen Roller zu mieten und sich über Hue auszutauschen.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und gut. Es gibt einen Fitnessraum, einen Spa, einen kleinen Indoorpool und eine Bar auf dem Dach. Das Zimmer war ganz schön, und das Bett bequem. Leider waren vor dem Fenster einige Klimaanlagen die nachts ebenso störend waren, wie der Regen auf dem dünnen Blechdach. Man hat sich sehr bemüht mir ein anderes Zimmer in der gebuchten Kategorie zu geben. Der Einblick in andere Zimmer zeigte jedoch, dass alle etwas anders sind und keines 100% gefiel. Mich persönlich hat es auch etwas genervt, dass den ganzen Tag in den öffentlichen Bereichen nur Weihnachtslieder gespielt wurden.  Der Rollerverleih über das Hotel klappt super und ist sehr bequem.

Das Hotel ist wirklich super! Erstens ist die Einstellung des Servicepersonals sehr, sehr gut. Jedes Zimmer ist groß, die Umgebung wird nicht erwähnt und auch die unterstützenden Einrichtungen sind sehr gut. Als wir dort waren, war das Wetter nicht so gut, so dass wir das Schwimmbad nicht voll nutzen konnten, aber da alle Servicemitarbeiter sehr freundlich und nett waren, empfanden wir das ganze Erlebnis als großartig. Da das Hotel eine große Fläche einnimmt, empfehle ich Ihnen, sich ein Fahrrad auszuleihen, um die Umgebung des Hotels zu erkunden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen auch, die Wasseraktivitäten des Hotels wie Strandmotorräder auszuprobieren (auf eigene Kosten)! Alles in allem war es ein toller Aufenthalt, sehr gut geeignet für Familien mit Kindern oder Frischvermählte und Hochzeitsreisende. Wenn man jedoch jeden Tag in die Stadt möchte, ist es nicht geeignet, da das Hotel ziemlich weit von der Stadt entfernt ist. Ansonsten finde ich das Hotel im Grunde perfekt!

A haven for my soul !!! I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine. If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did.

Dies ist das beste Resort in Da Nang. Jeder, der auf der Suche nach einem Meisterwerk eines Kurses von Sir Nick Faldo ist, einer fantastischen Anlage, einer wunderbaren Aussicht, den freundlichsten und nettesten Menschen und fantastischem Essen. Auf dem Gelände des Hotels gibt es 6 Restaurants, einen Außenpool, ein Spa, ein Fitnessstudio und natürlich einen Golfplatz. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir hatten dort die beste Zeit. Das Hotel ist für Alleinreisende, Paare oder Familien wärmstens zu empfehlen.

Ein wunderbares Haus mit unvergleichlichem Flair der 20er. Freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Einzig ist zu bemerken, dass auch hier durch Corona liegengebliebene Renovierungsarbeiten dringend nachgeholt werden sollten, um diesen sonst sehr erhaltenswerten Zustand zu sichern.

Die Dusche ist nicht die beste, sie produziert wenig Wasser und noch weniger heißes Wasser und sie ist zum Duschen sehr schlecht positioniert. Es handelt sich beim Frühstück nicht um ein Buffet, wie auf den Bildern gezeigt, und die Auswahl ist sehr begrenzt (3). Was die Sauberkeit im Allgemeinen betrifft, gut.

The hotel is in a convenient location, about a 20 minutes walk to the old city. Plenty of eateries and shops around. It's also just a 25 minutes drive to the train station (we took the scenic train to Danang). The room was ok and mostly clean, but the bed was very hard and the pillows felt like a sac of potato. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to caters mainly to Chinese tour groups. They are very noisy and unruly. The breakfast area felt like a market, the bread and pastries were stale and un-edible, the bacon was hard and dry. Maybe the Asian fare was good, the continental/western fare was terrible. Would not recommend!
