Beste Wellnesshotels in Cortina d'Ampezzo

The room we booked was nothing like what was advertised. The “view” that was described was actually a view of the parking lot and no view of the Dolomites. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful and moved our room, but it appeared they were only able to because the hotel was empty. There was a thermostat in the room but absolutely no cold air coming in so we had to open the door that was connected to another hotel members balcony, plus allowed horrendous busy street noise into the room. The hotel being $800+ a night PLUS additional fees ($50 per night for parking, $25 room service fee when the kitchen is only 2 floors down) is absurd. The only thing I have to say about this hotel being nice is the staff. The updated rooms is the only thing this hotel has to offer and it does not make up for the poor room “view” advertising and uncalled for additional fees. Breakfast was included but the only thing you can order is eggs. Only allowing 60 minutes per STAY in the spa is not okay either, or again having to pay more if you’d like to stay more than an hour. I will never stay at this hotel again. It was a total rip off.

Nice new hotel. Not really ski-in,ski out, have to walk about 500 to ski slope. Great service staff, clean rooms and nice facilities.

Wir suchten mehr als nur ein Hotelzimmer, weil wir in Cortina für die Woche zum Skifahren waren und dieser Ort war perfekt! Die Küche machte es schnell und bequem, die Kinder zu essen, bevor wir den ganzen Tag verlassen. Bunk Betten im zweiten Schlafzimmer ist eine absolute Notwendigkeit statt der Ausziehen Sofa, extra Lagerung für alle unsere Gepäck und Skikleider machte diese Weise mehr als 2 Queens über die Straße in ihrem Hotel. Über die Straße erhalten Sie Zugang zum Spa, Pool und volles Frühstück, wenn Sie wählen. Nicht anzumerken, die Lage konnte nicht besser gewesen! Wanderweite zu Shopping, Bars und Restaurants. Wir ziehen nur unser Auto aus, um in die verschiedenen Berge zu fahren. Hände runter, dies prüfte alle Boxen.

We are a family stayed in Hotel Mirage for a week just before Christmas. We had a very comfortable stay throughout. The staff were all exceptional, from Luca at the concierge, the shuttle service (Gianfranco, Romano et al), the bar crew (Giovanni et al) and even the swimming pool lifeguards were so professional and friendly. They always responded promptly to our requests for eg daily shuttle service pick up and drop off. We felt very welcome at the hotel everyday. One key reason why we chose Mirage was due to their indoor swimming pool, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi facilities as not many hotels In Cortina had such service. After a day long of skiing the kids and the adults as well all enjoyed relaxing in the pool. It’s worth noting that they offer a complimentary aperitif and drinks at the bar before dinner at their amazing restaurant Pigal Cortina. We consumed half board dinner and the quality of the dinner was absolutely above our expectations. The daily menu came with a good diverse range of first, second course and dessert options and we had so many different delicious courses during our week here. Our favorites were the homemade truffle pumpkin ravioli, genovese pasta, duck breast, beef cheek and the semi-Freddo and Sacher Torte for desserts. Some of the courses were even better than some of the Michelin Star quality we have had in Europe. Last but not least, the staff at Pigal were exceptional. All of them are superbly professional, friendly and immaculate to the point. A big salute to the entire restaurant team ( Savaltore, Roberto and Camino et al) and of course to the chef too! Highly recommend Hotel Mirage!!!

Wir haben die Zeit hier genossen, insbesondere der Service war ausgesprochen zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, und auch das Frühstück war der perfekt Start in dem Tag in stilvollem Ambiente. Im eigentlich sehr schönen Zimmer hat uns lediglich gestört, dass die Dusche in die Badewanne integriert ist, noch dazu mit getrennten Hebeln für warmes und kaltes Wasser – das erscheint etwas outdated. Im Schwimmbad war die Anzahl der Liegen deutlich zu gering mit Blick auf die Anzahl der Gäste. Das wirklich große Manko ist das Parkhaus: Es war uns unmöglich, in dem Labyrinth den richtigen Weg zu finden. Es gibt absolut keine Hinweisschilder oder Markierungen, alles ist total verwinkelt, man irrt durch diese Parkflächen und endlosen Gänge ohne den Zugang zur Rezeption zu finden. Hier besteht deutlicher Verbesserungsbedarf. Aber: Das Grand Hotel Savoie werden wir jederzeit wieder wählen, wenn wir in Cortina übernachten.

Excellent value! Loved the location which was a short drive to town. Plus the staff kindly upgraded us from a basic room to the next grade. Breakfast was great too. Parking was pretty easy right in front of the hotel, though it can get crowded if you come back v late. Overall Nothing to fault.

Das Spa! Wunderbar. Das Frühstück wurde auch ausgebreitet. Unser Zimmer war klein, aber schön. Es war überrascht, dass es an diesem Preispunkt keine Klimaanlage gibt, und im August war es warm in unserem Zimmer. Sie bot uns ein Fan an, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, dass es funktioniert (könnte ein Benutzerfehler gewesen sein und wir haben ihnen nie etwas darüber gesagt; ich habe keinen Zweifel, dass das Front Desk hätte schnell reagiert, wenn wir gefragt, angesichts ihrer konsequent ausgezeichneten und reagierenden Service). Sehr bequem und einfacher Garageparkplatz unterirdisch, das sicher fühlte. Service vom Frontdesk stand erstaunlich truly oben & darüber. Das Essen war so, sehr teuer für das, was es war, mit ziemlich vernachlässigbarer Service am Ende (nach einem starken Start). Sie werden gerne beim Abendessen schön geklebt werden. Der Fitnessraum war auch sehr, sehr schön. Der Spa war der beste Teil für mich kalte Tauchen, mehrere Saunen, Massagestationen im Pool liebte es. Beachten Sie, dass dieses Hotel ein wenig aus der Stadt ist und der Verkehr war schrecklich während wir da waren. Für die Fahrt der Bergpasse, Sie vielleicht auf der anderen Seite der Stadt sein möchten, aber ich würde hier wieder unabhängig bleiben.

We had a great stay in hotel & spa Lajadira. The beds are comfortable, rooms very nice, the pool is just beautiful, jacuzzi massage works splendid and the spa zone is spacious. Sunbathing deck is also great. But the peak of our stay was Augusto and the prosecco he served :) Great guy, we enjoyed talking to him.
