The Stamford

We found that the 'King Room' was too small for our 3 nights stays . we had no room to place our 3 Carry-ons or hang up our clothes (there were only 6 lousy hangers provided). Also we had found that the glasses were not cleaned.., toilet was smelly that we had to kept the window opened all-time. Totally not what we expected. I would not recommend this guess house for anyone else.

Our stay was so lovely! I went with my mum for my birthday weekend. Honestly we absolutely loved everything. The biggest thing for us is hygiene and we found that in this hotel. I loved the little birthday touch, the self check in was so convenient. The kitchen and lounge area was so nice. I really appreciate the smaller details and absolutely found this a major thing in this hotel for example books for people to read, card games, Netflix and YouTube on the tv, teas etc. we didn’t find any disturbance with other people there at all. The only thing I can say is that there was a bleach stain on our towel, our bathroom window wouldn’t open, we would appreciate a spare sponge per room to use for dish washing. And just refills on kitchen roll and things like that. Overall we absolutely had an amazing time and would definitely come again. The communication was very fast and very helpful.

Great little find. Excellent accommodation with lots of added extras, use of kitchen which includes a washing machine, nice and quiet although very convenient for shops, eateries and the promenade. Parking available which is also an added bonus, we will definitely be back

The hotel room was very nice . The Area is ok but a bit run down think the building at the end of the street let's the area down . We stayed in room 5 . When we came out on the landing was a very strong smell of smoke ? It was very noisy on the front as room 5 is on the front .

Actually cannot find any fault with the Stamford Great location Spotless clean Everything you needed in room or in the facility down stairs in kitchen /living room Speedy check in Great corispondance with owner answered any questions we had We got upgraded to the superking room and it was spacious and the bed was one of the best we've slept in

We needed a reasonably priced place to stay for couple of nights in Southport for a festival. We booked on the basis of previous reviews. I got a call from Becky before we arrived to make sure we understood everything abouttheir accommodation and how to check in. The room itself was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The downstairs communal area is really lovely and we enjoyed coffee there one evening. I would really recommend a stay here.
