My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stayed in Oakwood Premier Hotel. The receptionist guy on Friday Morning, 10th Jan, was super nice, friendly and kind. He changed our room facing the city view. We went straight to the hotel after we arrive in Melbourne to put our luggage in their luggage storage because the check in start at 3pm. However, our room were already ready, so we managed to get some sleep and rest. The bed is so comfortable and we got a amazing view! So I really enjoyed our stay there for the whole time! What a great first travel experience in Melbourne! Surely, we will be back!

I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the amenities were decent, the location was a major disappointment. Despite being advertised as "centrally located," it was quite far from key attractions and conveniences. Public transportation options were limited, making it difficult to get around without spending extra money on taxis or rideshares. Additionally, the surrounding area felt somewhat isolated, with very few restaurants or shops nearby, leaving us with little to do in the immediate vicinity. If you're looking to explore the city or enjoy a more lively environment, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Oakwood was excellent — they also bumped me up to a better room and I highly recommend getting the room with a kitchen as it made my stay perfect with the ease to cook when it was raining!

Overall the stay was ok , but nothing to really rave about . Room was clean but the only downfall was it was windy and you could hear the wind from outside.

Great little birthday getaway. The lady at reception gifted us a bottle of wine and the room was very spacious and clean. There were pot of ammenities and great view to catch the sunset.

This is just an average hotel. Lift was way too slow & waiting time is v long during busy hours. Room cards were faulty during my stay & gotta get it replaced couple of times. The only plus point is the view which is magnificent

I ask that you please accept my sincere apologies that we were not able to deliver on this occasion.Your feedback regarding our elevators is well received. We are in constant contact with our lift contractors to improve the overall lift performance as you are correct, particular during busy periods with many guest movements the amount of lift we had available was not enough and the lift service therefore too slow. Unfortunately, we experienced a few software issues during your stay (which effected the room cards as well) and a technician from the lift company had to attend which took more time than expected due to public holiday and weekend. This hotel is beyond my expectations, at this reasonable price, the service provided is sufficient, high-quality and I am satisfied to choose this hotel for my first trip to Melbourne. From the room’s window I could see the scenery of city.The Aussie-style breakfast provided in 5th floor dining hall is good and refreshing to me. The roof bar is a great choice for a cocktail. If I have chance I would like give recommendations to my friends to choose this hotel if they are planning a trip to Melbourne.
