Sorrento Colors&Suites

Highly recommend this lodging, but it's important to understand in advance what these accommodations include. This is not a hotel. It is a former condo that now rents out individual rooms so there is no front desk, no concierge, etc. The rooms are large, bathrooms recently renovated, and there is an elevator. It is super clean and the beds/pillows are very comfortable. Management only provides one key per room which means guests must coordinate their return to the room because only 1 guest will have a key. Location is wonderful. Less than 10 minutes easy walk to rail stations and only about 5 min walk to the wonderful historic district (shopping and restaurants). Sorrento is really alive at night, and we really enjoyed it. We thought we were getting breakfast, but we only received packaged sweet breads from a grocery store. I would definitely stay again.

If you're looking for a hotel with all its amenities, then look elsewhere. On the plus side, the location is very central and easily accessible from the main station. The room was adequate, the bed comfortable, However... The room is not in a hotel as described. It is one of 5 rooms in an apartment block. There was no offer of breakfast. The daily cleaning was very basic and the bathroom was unfortunately crawling with ants. The balcony was shared with other rooms which made it feel a little unsafe at night. It's also not possible to check in late at night, so make sure to arrive before 8pm.

This review is purely to warn those who might be considering staying here – do yourself a favour and find somewhere else, literally anywhere else. You can get much better rooms, in better locations for less money in Sorrento (we know this because we did)! The room itself was fine, definitely nothing to write home about, but fine. The building itself is just a no-go. Tucked away in an industrial style area, no signposts, nowhere near where google maps told us it would be (2 different taxi drivers failed to find this place). First impressions; the building is just simply run down and dirty! The lift that takes you up to the ‘suites’ looked condemned – just plain dodgy (as were the other quests to be honest). Within minutes, we had music blaring through our wall. We have NEVER walked out of a hotel or apartment before and I have never given a 1 star review – but I hope this stops other people making the same mistake we did, because we literally ran away minutes after checking in! Yes I did try and resolve the issues with Colors&Suites: The host had also run away after check in – I can’t say I blame him! Yes I did try and contact them by email a couple of days later, and no they did not care - luckily I managed to sort this with the third party booking site so it helped I had an extremely rude email from the host to back up my initial complaints. This may look cheap and cheerful… but it’s not even that cheap, let alone cheerful!

Mi sono recata in questa struttura con il mio compagno , appena arrivati ci ha accolto Giuseppe , persona squisita, disponibile cortese e gentile. La struttura è ottima del tutto nuova. Le suites hanno tutti i comfort , aria condizionata, pulizia impeccabile (cosa molto importante) , terrazzo dove poter affacciarsi e godere di una veduta stupenda immersa nel verde, colazione in camera e chi più ne ha più ne metta !! Inoltre la struttura ha una posizione strategica si trova in corso Italia ed è a 5 minuti anche di meno dal cuore di Sorrento ! Tutto al di sopra delle mie aspettative , esperienza che consiglio vivamente a tutti! Non vedo l’ora di ritornarci al più presto!!

La struttura si trova in un complesso carino e tranquillo, strategicamente la posizione è perfetta a due passi dal centro . Le camere sono dotate di comodi letti e pulizia ed efficienza del servizio sono all’ordine del giorno . Il team è molto professionale in un contesto di cortesia semplice e spontanea . Well done

Decido con la mia amica di trascorre qualche giorno di vacanza in un luogo non troppo lontano da casa e facilmente raggiungibile con un mezzo che non sia l auto. Ed ecco la scelta... "Sorrento" ! Giusto qualche sguardo sulle varie sistemazioni alberghiere e l'istinto cade su "Sorrento Colors&Suites", avendo tutte le caratteristiche che cercavamo. Che dire: comodissimo per la vicinanza della circumvesuviana ed a pochi passi dal centro. Location completamente nuova, accogliente e pulita, con proprietari gentili, simpatici, professionali, disponibilissimi e con la Signora Conny che ci è rimasta nel ❤. Davvero una gran bella scoperta. Un grazie a tutti ed un consiglio spassionato x tutti... (Non perdetevi la stanza Avion) l😉
